Facilities: Some old hotels are hundreds of years old after all, but they are well maintained Hygienic: clean and tidy, but because it is a wooden structure, there is always a musty smell in the corridor, which cannot be removed. Environment: Very good, there is a door to the yard in the room, go out is the small river, there is a gray, white and two swans, every time you come to breakfast, you will swim over. Service: very warm and responsive

Nice n cosy only 1 bad thing to say noisy to close to main road may update windows in rooms apart from that all good

ALCON, I was very happy with my stay, during check- in staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was very clean and nice only small problem is that rooms are not set up for the powering up of cell-phones, Recommend the desk provide attachments so that tourist can keep there phones powered up. During my 12 days stayed at four other similiar locations, your facility was the only one without adapters for cell phone charge. Your food downstairs was great especially enjoyed the fish and chips. All in all a great stay I will DE finitely be returning very much enjoyed my stay with you,

What an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days

Hotel was perfectly located for where I wanted to be. Overall good experience, there is a Trainline behind the accommodation which was noisy and noticeable but not enough to disturb my sleep. Room was lovely and cosy and decor was excellent. Shower was fantastic, evening food was ok but nothing special, breakfast was excellent

The room is a bit basic and could do with an upgrade. The shower in the room was functional at best. Tv remote faulty and not a great channel list. Wifi worked well. I had a bowl of chips in the evening which were undercooked and poorly presented. Breakfast was nice though.

This is a very lovely place to stay. I would recommend other people to choose this cottage. We feel like being at home. Cleanliness of place and excellent breakfast. Moreover your staff is helpful and friendly.Thanks.

Two big and one small beds, the room is big enough, and the bathroom is fine. The stairs are too narrow, the old house, the first floor is a bar restaurant, convenient dining, good taste, parking lot in the inner courtyard

Fantastic location right in the centre of Devizes. On entrance no offer to carry bags upstairs and no lift available. Room was quirky with great character but the great view the receptionist commented on at check in was directly into room 14!!!! Not quite what we were expecting so curtains remained closed all weekend. We did not eat here as all a bit pricey and poncy. Fab restaurants in and around the square. Room was comfortable enough and shower was lovely even if the controls were at the other end of the shower and you got wet just turning it on. Suited our needs for 2 nights just a shame no room service for food when classed as a hotel.

Paid for breakfast included only to be told there is no breakfast. Very disappointing. Not what is advertised.
