I was surprised there was a toilet/shower in the dorm room which is very convenient. Everything is clean and modern. There's a kitchen for use or you can also order from the bar (ground floor or rooftop)
Location:
walking distance to the train/metro station, there's also a tram stop right in front of the hostel. I get to Marienplatz from hostel within half hour.
Could be improved :
wifi is very weak in the room.

DdomonnnThe location is near the subway, right at the last exit. If you're taking the train, it's a bit of a walk as it's on the other side, but still considered convenient. It's not scary for women walking alone at night, which is important. For the room, I booked a single room and it was very spacious and clean, with a wardrobe, table, and chair, plus a private bathroom. I think it was great value for money! There's an elevator, but it's quite small; one person with luggage fills it up. The front desk is 24 hours. Towels need to be rented, and there's a hairdryer. I liked it.
The downside is that at night there's a very loud door-slamming sound. I'm not sure where it's coming from, it sounds like the wind blowing a door shut, and it happens many times a day. Other than that, everything was fine.

GGuest UserJust 3 blocks from the metro station and right in the heart of Nuremberg's historic center. Don’t even think twice—the rooms are huge, quiet, and cozy. The level of cleanliness is outstanding; all the facilities are spotless, beautiful, and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included—it’s very affordable.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions patiently despite my limited English – five-star service for that! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to both the subway and train stations. The room itself was quite spacious, with a desk and a fan over the bed. I was very satisfied with my stay overall!

GGuest UserI really liked this place; it's a huge hostel, I think around seven floors, though I can't quite recall the exact number. They have laundry facilities, a shared kitchen, and a common area where singers occasionally perform, which I found really charming and thoughtful! Each room has four people and shares a bathroom. I even got to meet one of the singers who performed there, which was hilarious!

RRobinsonMichaelAuthentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi.
Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere.

AAnonymous UserThe hostel has a godd location close to the city centre and the main railway station. But as Germany is an enemy of A/C and also a fan, the room was too hot and we had to leave the windows open and it was simply too loud. There were only two toilets for a whole floor. Only two! For all! Two showers for males and two showers for females are ok but only two for all are too less. The bed was ok and they have curtains which was very very good as german hostels don‘t really have curtains on the beds. The room had lockers which was positive as well.

GGuest UserWe like the welcome drinks and good atmosphere for youth. There is lift to every floor including street level to ground floor. The 4You Hostel is behind us towards the right. There is bicycle rental nearby which we may use if it was not snowing.
Usual hostel with shared bathroom. We had good warm shower.

GGuest UserUpon arrival no one answered the door on either side of the street. We had no way to call the number posted. Fortunately kind guests helped to call as they were coming out the door and directed us to our room. No contact with hosts until breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent.

RRaaaaaiI used the dormitory on a solo trip. It is secure and I think that even women can use it with peace of mind. The location is good, so I will use it again when I go to Munich. I went to Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich Central Station, but it was convenient because it was close to ､ station.
