Good location. 5 mins walk to the main bus and train stations, but a little far from the central area on foot, about 15-20 mins walk. Close to quite a lot of restaurants and cafés.
The room was okay, quite clean overall, but my room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator, so I had to take the stairs every day.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The wifi could be improved.

Fantastic location, literally right at the Formosa Boulevard Station exit. The ambiance was also very pleasant. Breakfast was included, though I regrettably slept in and missed it – a real pity! Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is before 11 AM.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in in Taiwan! I loved the selection of skincare products and the dorms were really nice! Good common areas and great bathrooms. Very stylish.
Only downside is the location. It is in the suburbs, but if you are just passing through it is a good place.

Unlike many other hostels here, this is very spacious hostel. The common area is downstairs and it’s huge including games, restaurant and work/sitting area. Lockers too are very big, you can put all your suitcase. There are many toilets/bathrooms. Nearby there is really good market with local food options and around this place theee are so many cute coffee shops

Great location, super close to everything in Ita Thai. Rooms are SO SPACIOUS! I’m 5’4 and I could almost stand up in the pod. There’s even room for your bags next to the bed and the whole pod locks so you don’t have to spay for a separate locker.
Staff are friendly. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom/shower room. There’s a kitchen area on ground floor and a rooftop. It wasn’t a sociable hostel really, but I wasn’t there for that so it was perfect.

Highlight is definitely the common room, very comfy and set up in a way which is ideal for playing games together and getting to know new people.
Beds are comfy with curtains and showers and bathrooms are clean.
Bicycles are also available, really convenient way to grab a quick snack, since the hostel is admittedly not in super short walking distance to many things.
Great place to stay in Yilan.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in my whole 23 years travelling around the world, absolutely outstanding. Spotless, spacious, beautifully designed and decorated, full of anything you could possibly need and more, lovely quiet street, seconds away from the bus stop and minutes walk to Lukang centre. Easy to find, smooth self check-in, very quick and responsive host. The beds, furniture, kitchen, everything is such outstanding quality and so pretty to look at. The rules are respected so the communal living is very pleasant, it's silent at night and social during the day. I regret not having stayed longer.

Top-notch convenience: The location scored a high 9.7, with the Airport Express just a 5-minute walk away and Taipei Main Station MRT reachable within 10 minutes. The surrounding area is packed with bubble tea shops and unique small stores. Ningxia Night Market and the National Museum are within a 15-minute walk, and Ximending is only a 20-minute walk away.
Thoughtful and complete facilities: Beds come with individual curtains and safety deposit boxes, offering great privacy. The public areas are extensive; the 4th floor has a refrigerator, microwave, coin-operated washer/dryer, and provides free hot and cold water. Next to the sinks, amenities like cotton swabs and makeup remover are available for communal use.
Warm and attentive service: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and patient, assisting with luggage and recommending itineraries. Some staff members also speak Japanese. The first floor features a themed bar with different monthly events, and guests even receive a complimentary small whisky, making it easy to socialize.
Excellent breakfast: Freshly prepared Asian-style breakfast is offered, with shredded pork omelets and chocolate toast being highly praised. Coupled with free tea and coffee, it offers exceptional value for money.
High standard of cleanliness: Beds, public spaces, and bathrooms are all kept spotless. Guests are considerate, and the indoor environment is quiet, not noisy, earning it the title of ”Hygiene Preferred.”

My plans changed at the last minute, so I made a reservation on the day. Although the check-in time is listed as 11:30 PM, it seems possible to check in late at night using the self-service check-in machine (I'm not sure if this is official; I did contact them via chat on Trip.com beforehand). To use the intercom late at night, just press the one on the left. The hostel facilities were generally kept clean, and I had a comfortable stay. There was also a clearly marked sign about luggage storage, so I think this is a recommended hostel for Japanese people staying in Chiayi who can read Chinese characters.

A little distance (about 1 km) from the train station. . The side facilities are adequate. Walk 150-250 meters to McDonald's and convenience stores. The room smells of wood when the door is opened. good. . There seem to be two doors to enter the gate. I misunderstood the long wait at the other door and no one opened. Can't contact the owner either. Now the phone card only allows Internet access. (It is recommended that the sticker tell you to use another door to find someone or provide an app contact method.)
Remember to buy return train tickets in advance. .

EEthanchanStrategically located at Taipei main station, the heartland of Taipei where all attractions can be gone to with ease.
Didn’t expect a lot from hostel. They can do daily cleaning. Disinfection when necessary and a good job done.
Breakfast is simple. Everyone loves it.
LLengLeng323Location: Super close to Taipei Main Station, just turn left after exiting Z2 from the underground mall and cross one traffic light. There are also many eateries nearby, which is very convenient.
Cleanliness: This hostel is quite particular about environmental hygiene. I personally found it very clean, even the toilets and bathrooms.
Service: The front desk staff are all great. Since there are more Southeast Asian travelers, communication in English is generally fine, and their accents are quite American (thumbs up! 👍).
Overall: This time I booked a female dorm room with four beds. The room space was unexpectedly small, but the locker could fit a small suitcase, which was fine. Eating in the room is not allowed, only in the common area, which is reasonable as most hotels are like this. If you're just staying for a short while, I think this place is great and very affordable, plus the location is good. However, it's not ideal for business travel, unless you can book a private room (they do have non-dorm rooms).
Ggett124This hotel is very close to the taipei main station, easy access to red line metro line, but the room is quite old the lightning doesn't seems bright enough, bed is normal not very comfortable, but good value of money and big room size
SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card.
Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.
HHana WinI stayed at 85 Cape Inn in Kaohsiung for two nights and had an amazing experience. The staff offered warm and friendly service, and I was pleasantly upgraded upon arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Its location is excellent, close to major attractions ( Dream mall, Night Market, Dome, Cijin Island,Dragon Tiger Temple)and convenient transport options (Green or Red MRT, Ferry Terminal).

Outstanding
CCP_LeeI write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all.
The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing?
The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room.
On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before.
It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well?
Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me.
It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again
I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.
HHongblaMy stay at T-hotel in Taichung was a breeze. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city. The room was modern, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even better.
PPyayiWhen I go to Taipei, I always stay at this hotel. The location is very strategic, the staff is friendly, and the facilities meet the needs of solo travelers.
Each floor and even each room has a specific theme.
Ps, I really like buying drinks across the street from the hotel 😆
MM516343****This is a very convenient location with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
MMr.TouristWe had a good stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes from bus stops and an 8-10 minute walk to the Metro station.
The room was clean, though there were some stains on the bedsheets. After I requested a change, staff promptly brought clean ones, which was great. Daily housekeeping kept everything tidy. Overall, a good choice!
