My Perfect Home Away from Home: A Treasure to Be Discovered in Jinan! I just got back from an amazing trip to Jinan and I can’t help but share my delight at staying in one of the most wonderful hostels I have ever stayed in during my many travels. This place is not just a hostel, it is a true oasis of comfort, hospitality and positive energy in the heart of the “City of Springs”. If you are looking for more than just a place to sleep, but also a part of an unforgettable adventure, then this is the place to go! The location is 10 out of 10! Let’s start with the location because that’s the first thing you notice. The hostel is in a perfect location. The main attractions of Jinan are just a few minutes’ walk away: the majestic Daminghu Lake, the famous Baotu Spring and the picturesque historical streets. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops and, most importantly, convenient public transport stops nearby, from where it is easy to get to any point in the city. After a long day of exploring, returning to such a conveniently located ”home” was just happiness. Atmosphere - Incredibly Cozy and Friendly! But the soul of this place is its atmosphere. From the first step inside, you feel like you have come to visit old friends. The common room is not just a room, it is the real heart of the hostel, where you can find a cozy corner with a book, drink aromatic tea or coffee, chat with other travelers from different parts of the world. The design is thought out to the smallest detail: warm lighting, interesting decor details, comfortable sofas and armchairs create an incredibly relaxing and inspiring atmosphere. It is easy to make new acquaintances here, exchange stories and plans - this is exactly what I value most in hostels. Staff - A Special Ode to Professionalism and Kindness! I have to give a special shout out to the hostel team – they are travellers’ guardian angels! They don’t just do their job, they do it with genuine care and a smile. The girls at the reception (and of course the guys!) were incredibly attentive, always ready to help with any question, be it planning an itinerary, booking tickets or recommending the best local places to eat authentic Jinan cuisine. Their knowledge of English was excellent, which made communication very easy. Thanks to their advice, I discovered hidden corners of Jinan that I would never have known on my own. Their warmth and willingness to help made my stay truly special. Facilities – Exceeded Expectations! In terms of facilities, the hostel exceeded all my expectations for budget accommodation. * Rooms and beds: I stayed in a dormitory and was pleasantly surprised. The beds are very comfortable, with blackout curtains that give an incredible sense of privacy and personal space even in a shared room. Each bed has its own light and socket – perfect for charging gadgets and reading before bed. The linen was spotlessly clean. * Showers and toilets: Their cleanliness is a separate point! It was always crystal clean, hot water without interruption, good pressure. This is not always guaranteed in hostels, so I was very happy. * Common areas: Spacious, always clean, with enough space for work and rest. * Wi-Fi: Strong and stable signal throughout the hostel, which is very important for a modern traveler. * Kitchen: Well-equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals and save money. * Laundry: Convenient laundry, which is indispensable for long trips. Price-Quality Ratio – Simply Fantastic! And all this magnificence – at a very affordable price. I sincerely believe that this hostel offers one of the best price-quality ratios I have ever encountered. You get so much more than just a bed – you get experiences, comfort and a sense of belonging. Stayed here for two days, it was a great experience. After playing outside all day, returning to the courtyard felt like home. Because 960 fell in love with Badaguan and the sea of ​​Qingdao, he would go to watch the sunrise at his doorstep in the sleepy morning. It only takes six minutes to walk there, or three minutes if you run a little faster! The enthusiastic yet reserved boss and his wife don’t seem to be ordinary people, hahaha! Time is long, we will get to know each other slowly, see you in Qingdao! Come again next time!

I went in early August. It's conveniently located near attractions and Qingdao Railway Station, with plenty of restaurants and late-night eateries nearby. The entire hostel is underground, and the air conditioning in the common area was comfortable. My private dormitory room: As shown in the picture, it had two mini air conditioning vents for cooling and ventilation, and two small fans. On the second night, even with both fans running at full blast, it was still stuffy and difficult to sleep. The hallway temperature was more comfortable than the room temperature. I didn't dare sleep until late at night, and not only did I not sleep well, I also got five mosquito bites. The standing space was more than half taken up by an open 20-inch carry-on suitcase, barely enough to open half the door. The lighting was dim, unsuitable for applying makeup or wearing contact lenses. The public toilet: Dark, stuffy, and smelly. I rushed in and didn't notice the ventilation vent. 112 RMB per night – enough for two nights, one trip is sufficient.

The room was immaculately clean, with daily sweeping and mopping. It had a light fragrance. It's very close to Golden Beach, a 20-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away for trips to Yinshatan and Yumingzui Village. The neighborhood is quiet and uncrowded. The owner was very welcoming. 👍 The price didn't increase much during the holidays, which was a great bonus. 👍

The hotel is in an excellent location with convenient transportation, and is surrounded by well-developed subways and buses. The room is heated, making it especially warm in the winter, and air-conditioned in the summer. The sanitation is excellent, the lighting is great, and there's a balcony for drying clothes. The room is ventilated and odor-free. There's plenty of purified drinking water (both hot and cold) and hot water for washing. The owner is welcoming and the check-in process is simple, with prompt notifications of any necessary matters. Takeout is available in the living room, which also has a smoking area where you can sit on the sofa for tea and a short chat. The rooms are well soundproofed, and there's no noise at night. The guests are all very polite and conscientious, creating a harmonious and comfortable atmosphere! Downstairs are Chao Yi Xing and Bao Zi Ke, so you won't have to worry about food and clothing. This is a great choice for studying, working, or traveling. Excellent Youth Hostel is probably the best located youth hostel in Jinan! This is the first time I have lived in a youth hostel. The environment is really not poking, and there are girls, and the safety factor will be relatively high. At that time, I chose to stay in this youth hostel and I also liked this. The bed is also very comfortable and soft; The boss and the aunt of the Youth Hostel are really super good, the pick-up service is in place, and help carry luggage into the hotel. Really good hotels don't need to advertise or praise, good hotels or youth travel, our student party will promote hahaha. The hotel also has a lot of small stickers that can be left on. The boss is a very, very good person and very polite. He took a plane to Qingdao for more than 4 hours. The first time I stayed in the Youth Hostel, I thought I would be very unaccustomed and worried about many problems. The result was not. I felt the warmth of Qingdao as soon as I came. It is right next to Qingdao's University Road, and there is a supermarket right in front that is famous for being a filming location for dramas, so it is a fun place to watch Chinese people taking certification shots. It feels like staying at a Chinese person's home, and it feels like a renovated house. They do laundry for free, and they dry your laundry in the sun, so it feels good. What's interesting is that there is a mysterious cave in the accommodation, so you should definitely go in. It's creepy. However, there are no mattresses on the beds, just hard wooden floors, so people who have trouble sleeping might be concerned.

The hostel is conveniently located opposite the bus terminal and next to the Third Station Market, making it easy to get around and explore. The environment is clean and tidy, with daily cleaning. It offers free facilities such as an e-sports room, game consoles, a pool table, a TV, and a washing machine. As the weather gets warmer, they've even installed small fans on each bed. The service is excellent, and electric scooters can be rented at the hostel for those who want to visit further afield.

My third and last accommodation in Shandong on the 15th of 14 nights and 15 days, and my first and last accommodation in Weihai. The process from Qingdao to here was not smooth. This was my first train trip in China. So, when I checked in here, I was quite tired of my mind and body, but I spent unforgettable time from the first night because of the people I met here. Music here (Miss Dong ～🎶), food, sea and people My night, which was one night, was added one night at a time, and it was a total of four nights. If this was the second half of this trip, I might have stayed here until the end and returned to Korea. I met and talked with quite a lot of people for 4 nights, but the only photos related to the accommodation are the photos when I left the accommodation on the last day, so I attach this photo 😅 (more photos taken with people in the hostel than the photos of the hostel) It was a long backpack trip (even overseas) that I had never experienced in my life of 14 nights, and I lacked a lot of Chinese (I am currently studying at HSK3 and 4th grade).
