Located inside a housing compound. GPS navigation brought me to the door, which was fortunate as it would be hard to find otherwise. They could do with a sign in English – meanwhile, look out for the Chinese characters 观海. It looks like you're arriving at the back door of a ground floor apartment. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, using a translation app where necessary. The atmosphere is cheerfully scruffy and youthful, with hundreds of visitors' signature all over the walls. Facilities are basic – the showers are over squat toilets (plenty of water though), and there are no drinking water refill machine (buy plastic for 1 yuan at the reception). The lobby area is tiny – they actually advertise the sofa bed in the lobby as a single-occupancy. Not a great idea – don't confuse it with a tiny single room as I did. They upgraded me to a dorm room. The mattress is not soft. The location is good for a visit to May 4th Square and the seafront. Overall, it was okay to doss here one night, but I found Kaiyue Hostel much better value.

Safe for female travellers. Amenities including washing machine, basic toiletries are provided. Within walking distance to main train station and nearby attractions. Local foods are just nearby. The only thing was the squeaky bunk bed. Anyone who moves can cause noise from the wooden bed frame (can affect sleeping quality). Suggest to change a better quality bedframe to avoid the creaky sound.

I was unexpectedly satisfied with the accommodation I chose for this trip😀 The staff at the B&B are attentive and attentive, and any problems customers have can be solved immediately. I came to Qingdao for a trip alone and chose this youth hostel. It's clean and hygienic. There's a special auntie who cleans the house. The auntie is also very nice and used the microwave to heat up the food for me. The landlord's life is very poetic. There's a small garden and billiards, chess, and gobang. I can play billiards by myself when I'm bored. There's a small swing in the garden and an air-raid shelter, but I don't dare to go in. Hahahahaha. Qingdao is beautiful. I'll stay here again next time I come to Qingdao.

I booked a quadruple room. There is a bathroom in the room, but I can’t take a shower. Because there is no hot water, I can go to the public toilet on the second floor to wash, but there is only one bathroom that can be used. I can queue up. I waited for a long time to take a shower. The hot water is not very hot, it is about 30 or 40 degrees. The public toilet is dirty and the facilities are generally the same. After all, the price is here. The facade on the first floor is good, there are coffee and other drinks to buy, and cats can be ～～～

Stayed for two nights in the Badaguan scenic area. The environment is quiet. The sea is just a few hundred meters away. The boss is also very enthusiastic. It should be noted that if you are a girl, try not to go back too late. The roads nearby are dark, except for the brave ones😁
