Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

The location is pretty good, I think it's quite convenient to get anywhere, and there are lots of great food options nearby, haha! The hotel's cleanliness and service are also decent. The only thing that surprised me a bit was that the restroom is mixed-gender.

Amazing stay. This hotel has comfortable spacious rooms, only a short walk to Rongwo Monastery and local shops and restaurants. Service was great, look forward to staying again in the future.

The location is fantastic, right near Xining Railway Station, making travel super convenient. Even though it's a hostel, the cleanliness is top-notch, and the bedding is spotless. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and the recommendations from the owner were excellent! The owner is really enthusiastic and provided very detailed local tips. For this price in this area, the value for money is unbeatable, perfect for backpackers and students. I'll definitely come back next time!

Enjoyed my stay at this hostel because of its vibes. Some people are just more suited as hosts than others, and the young boss of this hostel is certainly one such. Helpful, respectful, and with a sense of humour. The last picture is of the boss with us three guests - a Chinese, a Singaporean and a Japanese guest. The sitting room is a great gathering place - every evening guests gather there to chill and chat.

I stayed at this hostel for nearly twenty consecutive days and had a fantastic experience! The facilities are complete, the place is clean, and the location is excellent, making it great value for money. The two owners are clearly dedicated to their business; you can often find thoughtful details improving the rooms and common areas. The service is also very attentive. I originally booked an eight-person room, but the owner upgraded me to a four-person room upon check-in, and I stayed there afterwards, very satisfied with the room's design and amenities. The lobby area was equally delightful; the tranquil atmosphere was perfect for immersive reading and writing. The lobby also has recreational facilities like billiards and a foosball machine, but unfortunately, due to a tight schedule, I couldn't fully experience them, which was a small regret. If you're looking for a hostel in the area, I think this one is worth considering; it's excellent in every way, highly recommended!

”Qinghai Xing” youth hostel has the warmth, tranquility and human touch of home. This is what I felt when I stayed for two days! There are message walls on both sides of the corridors of the hotel. This is the hotel's biggest feature. On them are written the heartfelt words of young people from all over the country. Most of them are impassioned people. There are also words of love between me and me, heroes who are short of breath and children who are long in love. It makes people read it with a thousand emotions. Turn and feel the ups and downs of the story! There are also a variety of books that can be borrowed, and readers can take them at will and return them voluntarily. The bosses and his wife are definitely cultural people who hide in the city, and they are eminent monks who hide their secrets! In addition, there are two kinds of drinking water, mineral water and tap water, at the front desk in the corridor, which is very convenient. Even the boss’s son is very sensible! In the morning, I stood on the overpass, munching on pickled mustard and drinking boiling water to make eggs. I leisurely looked at the sparse flow of people outside the overpass and watched the morning sun rise little by little from the sea of ​​clouds. Hitting a passerby is like being outside the world! This hotel is very safe to stay in! Thanks to the boss and his family of three for providing a warm living environment to tired travelers in faraway Xining!
