Hostels in Liaoning, China

This seems to be a family-run hotel. It seems to be rhe only Trip.com identified accomodation in Yongling Zhen serving the Hetu alu historical park (great) and Qianlong Mausoleum (took a miss on due to time constraints). Thought I had been assigned a second floor suite but it was right on the first floor. Some problems locking the door but it's a secure location. Spotless stone tiles in washroom and throughout, room could be cool in winter. Very modern with washroom updates and accessories like toiletries and slippers Owner was very helpful ie. advising where to eat and when restaurants in this small town close, as well as where to catch a bus back to Fushun - (just 120 m from hotel) Very helpful for a foreigner.🙂 Owner kindly led me stow my bag while I extended my visit to Hetu Ala to see a cultural performance - which began after check-out time. A couple of small issues - I was told that the room price on trip.com is somewhat higher than locals are charged. Not a problem really. Room costs were still 60% less than hotels in cities. Also - it's promoted as a ”Business hotel” but there is really no work desk, suitable light or a chair - just a wobbly plastic stool). Modest investments might take care of this. My first time experiencing a space capsule was quite novel. Inside, you can enjoy the scenery on your own, and there's even ventilation, which is a nice touch. Free showers are included with check-in, and a nice steam bath makes for a great night's sleep. However, the soundproofing is only so-so, which is understandable. Cleanliness is average; there's only one toilet, but there's another shared one outside. They even give you a space-themed keychain upon check-out, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. Five stars.

I had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down. I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind. I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

This hostel is only a beautiful picture. For which 10/10 is not clear.((Refrigerator doesn't work. Washing machine is paid, iron is not. No toilet paper by evening. But there is a boxer pear. Apparently, that would be where children anger when you leave the room at night, and return already not can because of the unread card. This situation happened last night with a guy, but tonight. The administrators apparently gave him the code and he got to himself. And I had a night when the administrators were gone. Now sit write a review on the hostel. Before that, he lived in the same ”youth” hostel in Harbin and everything was great. And this situation would not be possible, as there administrators are always available. If not compare with: clean, simply sleep goes. If you don't leave the room at night.

This is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).

Definitely a great hotel.🏨🌟 One day, be able to remember the solo travelers for business people.💼🚶♀️ Definitely a place that I would stay at to explore a city with so many tourist sites.🏙️🗺️ If shopping close by, take advantage of the flea market-style Korean shops.🛍️🇰🇷 You can maybe find them on some social media or on search engines.📱💻 It's definitely worth your time.👍😊

After booking, I lived very happily. I added another night. The room was large, the decoration was particularly luxurious, very different tunes. There were beautiful oil paintings and huge embroidery everywhere in the corridor. It was not inferior printing. The proprietress said that some rooms are luxurious jade beds, and each room is equipped with 7, 80 inch oversized network TV, even electric mattresses in the room! It's so sweet! It also provides a disposable toilet cover, and I saw someone check out. The boss immediately removed the sheets and changed them. I felt that I really did a guest wash. I lived in a very safe place. Checked in quite late that day, but the front desk was still able to process it. The location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, and also very close to the subway station. The room's air conditioning system worked great, providing excellent ventilation.

Traveling alone, for safety and cost saving considerations, I chose to stay in a youth hostel. Because it was my first time staying in a youth hostel, I was still a little afraid of youth hostels with too many people and too noisy environments, so I chose this one after a long time. Now when I think back, I really admire myself. How can I choose so well? Hahaha. First of all, the location here is very good. It is very close to the surrounding attractions, and there are many shared bicycles at the door, which is very convenient! I called the boss on the day I arrived, and he came down to pick up and helped with the luggage. Haha, the boss is really a very polite little brother. He always calls me ”you”. I am a young girl in my early 20s. I am really a little uncomfortable. The hostel is in a residential building. You need to climb stairs, but it is only three floors. I went up and cleaned it up first. I need to make my own quilts. Haha, these quilts are so cute and colorful. I booked a quadruple room, but there were only two people living there, so I was lucky. Then the boss introduced me to various scenic spots and recommended various delicacies. He also told me about places worth visiting that are not on Xiaohongshu and only known by locals. Hahaha, I really made a lot of money. I don’t have to make a guide by myself. In fact, I just read the comments that the boss would help make a guide. I thought it would be more practical to listen to the recommendations of locals than to make a guide by myself. Really, brothers and sisters, just go and it’s done. It’s worth investing in it! ! ! The whole house should be full of 12 people. There are two bathrooms, both of which can take a shower, so there is no need to worry about queuing. Each bathroom has a disposable toilet mat and five packs of toilet paper hanging. Even if you sweat while using the toilet, it’s enough. Of course, the house is not that hot. Then, there is a refrigerator and a microwave in the house. If you buy too much and can’t eat it when you go out, you can heat it up and eat it the next day. You can also watch TV! ! ! There are also members! ! ! Oh my god, I was afraid of watching the Seven Hearts by myself, but I was not afraid when there was a group of people. Hehe. The whole house is very clean. The boss comes to clean every afternoon. You can also find some small surprises and small ideas in the house. It's very interesting. There are super many little ducks and a big duck in the town. The boss also loves to drink. Hahaha, it's fun. There is an ”autistic area” next to the balcony, which is very suitable for me to eat secretly at night. There are many free snacks and umbrellas at the door. It's so thoughtful! However, the sun was shining brightly during the days when I came, so the transparent umbrella was not used. Oh, by the way, when I first arrived, the boss also treated me to ice cream, which I could choose at will~ I also tasted Shenyang's special sesame sauce ice cream, which is delicious. You can try it. And, the boss recommended Shenyang's local milk tea tea Na, which is really delicious. It is the one I will miss no matter when. If you come to Shenyang and don't drink this one, it's equivalent to coming in vain. Hahaha. The only regret is that the weather was too hot when I came this time and my appetite was not very good, so I didn't taste many delicacies. Seriously, climbing all those stairs was exhausting! Not recommended if you have a lot of luggage. The room itself was actually decent, not as run-down as I expected, though the curtain offered very little light-blocking. The mixed-gender shared bathroom was a bit awkward. The facilities were okay, but I didn't get a chance to use them. The male guests in the room opposite ours were incredibly inconsiderate, yelling and making a lot of noise late into the night. I'd definitely recommend bringing earplugs. The bed was incredibly hard and very uncomfortable to sleep on; it was barely tolerable. Otherwise, I have no major complaints. For the May Day holiday, the price was incredibly good value for money.
