I've got to say that this was, without any doubt, the best option for a limited-time accomodation I could've found to comfortably stay in Nanjing for 3 days, have more time to explore all the city's landmarks and not to be obliged to move from one end of Nanjing to another each time 👍 In fact, one of the key advantages of Xiying Hotel is not only in very reasonable prices for accommodation (compared to most of the other hotels, even nearby), but also the location of the Hotel - right in the centre of Qinhuai district and it's so comfortable that it takes literally no more than 11-17 minutes of pedestrian walk to reach many of the Nanjing's most popular cultural and historic sights (to be exact - Laomendong, Fuzimiao Pedestrian Street and the Confucius Temple, Zhanyuan Garden and the Nanjing City Wall), and that's why it's a perfect option if your main goal is to explore the city and its historic destinations (especially in a short term), and, at the same time, have a comfortable, clean, well equipped room to stay during your visit. I chose this Hotel almost immediately after I discovered and looked through it, and that was the best choice of accommodation I could have made for my trip to Nanjing. Furthermore, the staff were very courteous, hospitable and helpful, and they're always glad to assist you no matter what kind of problem you're experiencing) If I'm talking about myself, I had 2 problems - first one is that before my arrival I booked a wrong type of room by mistake (female instead of male), but nevertheless, thanks to the help of the staff it was solved instantly, at the reception desk, simply by paying a small additional sum of money, required for a male room. And the second one happened after I arrived too early at the Railway Station, when it was still closed, and I realised that I had to wait for 5 hours for it to open, but I've already checked out from the room and left the hotel. Still, the manager at the reception desk kindly offered me to return back and spend the night in their hotel, in the room I booked earlier, despite the fact that I already checked out, and I'm endlessly grateful to her for giving me this opportunity. On the whole, I can confidently say, that if I'm ever going to visit Nanjing in future, I'll definitely choose the Xiying Hotel, and I highly recommend you to do the same)

The Sawdust Youth Hostel offers an excellent experience! The overall hygiene is very well maintained, with public areas and bathrooms all thoroughly cleaned and free of any strange odors. The front desk staff are incredibly patient and always willing to answer any questions. If you prefer quiet activities in your room, it's very peaceful, and the beds are well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The drying area upstairs and the rooftop offer a pleasant breeze and fresh air. The location is convenient for getting around, and it's great value for money. It's suitable whether you're traveling alone or looking to make new friends. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Nanjing, highly recommended!

Environment: Fantastic! From the moment you step out of the elevator into the common areas, rooms, and washrooms, everything is impeccable. There are plenty of vanity tables. I really love the common area; it has a very warm atmosphere with many sticky notes on the wall where people share their stories. We briefly cross paths in this shared space. Service: Good. After check-in, they briefly explain the important notes and escort you to your room. Cleanliness: All areas are very clean and tidy. Facilities: The only minor drawback is that the bunk beds easily disturb each other. I slept on the bottom bunk, and whenever the person on the top bunk moved or turned over, the bed made some noise, which significantly affected my ability to fall asleep.

This is my seventh night staying at Duoyuan Youth Hostel 🏨 on September 8th. I've previously written simple introductions and reviews about the common areas, dorms, bathrooms, and other aspects, so this time I'll write about something different! I'm someone who can be both introverted and extroverted. Today, while playing with the somewhat haughty black and white chubby cat in the lobby, a guy from Wuxi who was traveling suddenly joined me to watch the cat 😺. We chatted quite a bit. Even though I'm in an unfamiliar city, traveling alone, these simple conversations made me feel a sense of familiarity, a closeness that came from these fleeting, pleasant exchanges. I'm very grateful to the hostel for this 'gift.' It might require a bit of luck, but when it happens, it brightens your whole day, and you even leave with a slight feeling of calm and composure. I hope every backpacker who comes to Duoyuan has good luck, good experiences, and meets many wonderful people! 😃 Also, a big thank you to Nanjing Duoyuan Youth Hostel. Two days ago, I asked a staff member at the front desk if they had a bag for me. He couldn't find one, so he just gave me a canvas bag with 'Nanjing' inscribed on it. He said it was a souvenir, and I was so happy to receive such a thoughtful gift!

I chose this hostel for my solo trip to Suzhou, and the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations! It's located right next to the South Gate of Lion Grove Garden, just a few minutes' walk to Pingjiang Road and Humble Administrator's Garden, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. It's great for getting to all the attractions. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful, patiently answering all my questions about sightseeing. The facilities are complete, with laundry and drying areas available. The female dorm beds offer excellent privacy, making me feel very secure as a solo traveler. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Suzhou! It's so convenient to go anywhere and really comfortable, the value for money is great. A day trip in Suzhou is wonderful. Yesterday there was a bit of sun, and then it immediately rained – truly the misty江南 (Jiangnan, a region known for its misty landscapes)!

The location is fantastic, very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for finding food and exploring. The place is cleaned regularly, the beds are tidy, and the bedding is clean with no strange odors. The individual lockers provide a good sense of security. The owner is very kind and responsive to any issues. The common areas are clean and comfortable. It's excellent value for money, especially for solo travelers looking for a place to stay.

The room was spotless, and the auntie at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful. They even upgraded my room for free, and the location was easy to find. I hope this hostel keeps up the great work; I'll definitely be back next time.

The hostel's location is excellent, just across the street from the South Square of the train station. There are shopping malls and large supermarkets with many chain brands nearby, and public transportation is also quite convenient. A special commendation goes to the cleanliness of the room; the owner herself cleaned it. One suggestion: getting dressed after showering is a bit inconvenient, as you're worried about your pants touching the wet floor, and there's nowhere to lean against, so you have to stand on one leg. The shower water temperature is good, the flow is strong, and it's very comfortable; it's not cold at all. Overall, I had a great two-day stay!

I randomly booked this hostel, Narrow Alley Youth Hostel, for my trip to Suzhou, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street, making getting around very convenient. The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the privacy curtains on the bunks were a nice touch. The bathroom was clean with a separate wet and dry area, and fully equipped with toiletries. It was also relatively quiet at night, so my rest wasn't disturbed. The staff were friendly and offered some simple travel tips. It offers great value for money, perfect for solo travelers. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Suzhou.

The overall environment of the room is very good, very clean, the bed is very soft and comfortable, and the equipment and facilities are perfect. I have been here more than once or twice, I am very satisfied, and I will come to 😚 in the future.
