Hostels in Jiangsu, China

If you have a lot of luggage I don’t recommend you to come here, however the hotel room is clean , the atmosphere is calm, showers are clean, the people on the front disk are nice and helpful even they don’t speak English but they trying hard enough to help.

Originally, I planned to go to Nanjing with my friends during the summer vacation, but because of something at home, I temporarily cancelled it. Considering that last week may be the last weekend of my school year, I immediately bought a ticket and packed my luggage at 6 o'clock on Friday and took the high-speed rail to Nanjing at 7:30. I booked another youth hostel in the car. Since I can check in at about 12 o'clock, the youth hostel is not a 24-hour front desk, so I can cancel it. I searched on Trip.com and set up the hidden international youth hostel. The front desk lady called me and asked me when I would check in. I said that I was estimated to be 12 o'clock, and I asked if I could be earlier. I said that I couldn't get off the high-speed rail at 11:20. So the front desk lady added me to WeChat and sent me two special detailed check-in messages. I also helped me set up a three-piece set. When I arrived, I found that the front desk waited for me to check in and I had not rested. 😭😭. The beds of the Youth Hostel are very clean. The three-piece suite is changed every day. There will be no hotel sheets that are wet. The living room is very large, many seats, the layout is both literary and warm, and there is a curtain that can be projected, refrigerator microwave oven, etc., the whole environment is particularly comfortable. The vanity and dressing table have a whole row, because I arranged the itinerary for myself every day very full, so I saw my aunt cleaning early in the morning. Although the bathroom and bathroom are shared, there is no smell and there is no discomfort in use. Another one is because they are all girls, and they are very quiet at night. I stayed for these two nights very much beyond expectations. I highly recommend it to all girls 😊😊😊 I have already said it to my friends. I will go to Nanjing next time. I will stay in the hidden 😊😊😊.

I loved it. I was shocked by how beautiful, clean, and elegant it was for the price. It is very convenient to have the coffee bar and terrace inside as well. I really recommend.

This newly opened youth hostel is very clean and well-equipped, just like the pictures. There's a water dispenser with paper cups, and the shower gel and shampoo are much better than at many other youth hostels, some of which don't foam much. The bathroom has both a toilet and a squat toilet, which is a nice touch. There's also aromatherapy in the corner and hand soap at the sink. The floor can easily accumulate, but the staff will diligently mop it. The people I met were all very nice. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, and it's very close to the subway.

Very clean toilet, properly separated toilet area and shower area, room is ingerestingly designed, even though it is a hostel, but each bed is separated into a small room and there is enough space for you to keep your luggage 😁 The reception staffs are super friendly, and they have a proper storage syatem, so you may drop your luggage with them before check in. Location wise , it is situated near an extended exit of the metro station, however if you exit from Entrance 1B of the metro station, it is still easy to walk to the hostel. There are free water and tea in the living area, and theh have a study room in case you need to do online meeting. Keep up the good work and I will definitely visit again if I am going to Suzhou!

Just a really solid hostel with a rather social hangout area around the reception and all essential things you need ~ comfortable showering and brushing teeth with mirrors and sinks, hot water available, great location right next to (or above) a subway station and there's a lot of good food nearby (it's Nanjing so food should be one of your priorities haha). Recommended.

I would rate this as 5 star hostel! The best hostel I've had stay ever! Check in process was very smooth, friendly, responsive and helpful staff! They provided almost everything, a bottle of water will be put beside your bed everyday, highly recommended to everyone who travel to Suzhou! Will definitely be back again! Not forget to mention, the hostel located at 11th floor and you're able to see nice view of suzhou

The hostel is not on the street, quiet and easy to find. The bus stop is at the entrance of the alley, 500-600 meters from the subway entrance, and 200 meters from the convenience store and small restaurant. The toilet is relatively small, and the hot water is very thin and small. There is no place to hang clothes, so you can only bring a small stool in to put clothes. There is no free toilet paper and mineral water. My husband's bed has small red spots and it itches. I am fine with long sleeves and long pants. There is no water dispenser in the public area, only a kettle. There is a thin layer of dust on the table.

The hotel does the job for a short stay (I stayed one night) but I don’t know if I would’ve stayed longer. The soundproof is very poor: I could hear noises from outside, coming from the street (which is fine), but also within the hostel (which I didn’t like). I don’t think I should be able to hear people talking and walking. The men’s bathroom was next to my room so if the door was opened (which it was, at 7 am), I could hear the strident noise of a hairdryer. It also wasn’t convenient that there was only one women’s bathroom for all floors, which only had two toilets. The morning I had cramps and wanted to go to the toilet, the two stalls were occupied and of course they were still full even though I waited a few minutes. I asked if there was another toilet and the receptionist told me there was a public restroom on Pingjiang Road, without any other indication. So I went to the one I found the day before, in my pajamas, and it was weird. The hostel should have more toilet stalls. These are what I disliked the most. Otherwise the location is very convenient and the other receptionist was nice, same thing for the common room/hostel lobby. I didn’t mind the candy wrapper I found on the ”nightstand”, nor having to make my own bed, but don’t arrive too late otherwise it’ll be even more 麻烦.

Best location and good facility. You can get bus or metro go almost every touristic spot which are next of hostel.
