This was my first time in Shenzhen for work, and I chose to stay at this hostel. It didn't disappoint! From check-in to check-out, I was very satisfied with the owner's service. The room was also very clean, and all the linens were freshly washed. There are two bathrooms, both spacious and clean, making it comfortable for showering and doing laundry. If I encountered any issues during my stay, I'd communicate with the owner, and they'd resolve them immediately. The owner also makes sure to give all guests special reminders and tips to ensure a comfortable stay. The price is also reasonable, and the location is fantastic – a subway station is right downstairs, making it convenient to get anywhere. There's also a good roasted meat shop and a charcoal BBQ place downstairs. Highly recommend it! You can stay here with confidence.

The experience exceeded my expectations. My roommates were friendly. I thought the low price wouldn't bring me such a good experience. But the atmosphere of the hostel was still unexpected. There were uncles from Zhejiang traveling to Sanya, as well as athletes who came to participate in the marathon. It may be an unforgettable part of my postgraduate entrance examination.

Highly recommended! Booked last minute in Shenzhen and was pleasantly surprised!
**Convenient Location:** Very close to Gangxia subway station Exit B, making it easy to get to the city center or Futian Port for border crossing. There's even a visa machine next to Exit E.
**Service:** Attentive to all requests. The front desk staff were very warm and friendly.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless. The cleaning staff did a thorough job. In the mornings, I could even smell a faint scent of disinfectant from the mopped hallways, which was very reassuring.
**Facilities:** We booked a double room for two. Other than the shared bathroom, it felt just like staying in a regular hotel. The room was bright, had a desk for easy makeup application, and enough space for two suitcases. The room door also had a password lock.
**Environment:** There's a large shopping mall nearby for all your shopping needs, as well as many great restaurants! The Caizhong Chaozhou Beef restaurant is absolutely delicious! Plus, there are plenty of massage parlors to relax your tired body after traveling.
This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was affordable and convenient – I'm a convert! I'll definitely be back to this one!
(Avoid another place: Xiannvge Hostel. We originally booked there, but when we arrived, they told us our reserved room was already occupied, ???. They tried to move us to another building, but there were no available rooms there either, ???. This caused us to drag our luggage between two locations and wait for one to two hours. Throughout, our phone communication with the owner was unhelpful, and they never offered a good solution. The owner was also nowhere to be seen! And to top it off, the environment was terrible, with delivery packages and takeout boxes scattered all over the common areas.)
Overall, if you're looking for something affordable, clean, and convenient, this is definitely the place to choose! 👍

I had an extra day of travel unexpectedly and didn't have a travel buddy to split a hotel with. Booking a hotel by myself for one night would have been over my budget, so I just randomly picked this hostel. I didn't take many pictures, only mentioned it briefly when talking to friends, but the experience was surprisingly good! As soon as I walked in, a staff member helped me with my luggage and guided me to change into slippers. The slippers were very clean and not meant for outdoor use. After changing, they showed me around, explaining each area. There's a separate restroom, a vanity room, a gym, a study room, and even curtains in the shower area to prevent clothes from getting wet! The room key opens both the room and the locker, so privacy is well-protected. Each bed has its own light and a small table. Overall, I just felt it was exceptionally good 😭😭😭! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit this area! The only slight downside was that my bed creaked when I moved, and also when I got off it.

The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and spoke softly. I stayed on the 2nd floor, which was a female-only floor, which I really appreciated. The room facilities were great, and I had a comfortable stay. The shower and everything else was very convenient. Plus, there's a food street right next door with lots of delicious options.

I stayed for 2 days at this place in Guangzhou and found the bathroom hygiene to be exceptionally good, with a smart toilet and no standing water on the sink counter. The bathroom looked clean enough during the day, but I wish it was cleaned more frequently at night. I think it's made of resin, and some people unfortunately urinate directly in the shower, which makes it quite dirty. More disinfection would be great. As for the rooms, since all the luggage lockers are inside, the sound of people opening their suitcases at 3 AM is really annoying. The swipe sound of the password lockers, and the sliding door of the bathroom outside the room, kept moving back and forth all night, making a lot of noise. Some people might have a busy nightlife, and they're constantly taking off makeup and going in and out of various rooms between 2-3 AM, and the doors are very loud too. I'd suggest stricter rules and for the hotel to improve the doors, avoiding sliding doors. Also, it would be better if all luggage could be stored in two designated rooms outside, for people to retrieve their belongings there, as it's really noisy inside the rooms. Overall, it's cleaner and more hygienic than other hostels, but the soundproofing is quite poor. The public restrooms had no air freshener and smelled bad. The tables in the common area were quite dirty; I recommend frequent cleaning and wiping.

The location is good and the transportation is convenient. It is convenient to go anywhere. You can walk to the seaside park and you can take the airport bus downstairs. The room has cross ventilation and is very comfortable with a large balcony rocking chair. The boss is very nice, provides many good plans for travel, and is eager to help me. Thank you so much. Come again next time.

This is a proper social hostel where you can meet fellow travelers. The entire building has seen better days, though. Staff is nice, they are used to having a bunch of foreigners. What totally bugs me at this place, however, is the fact that they tolerate smoking in the common area after 11 pm, although they also put up ”No smoking” signs. And people will smoke a lot. I know, it's a cultural thing here. If you're one of those, then, well, you found your spot. Otherwise it might utterly disgust you. Rooms and beds were fine. Big beds and cabinets although those were all taken in my room. Nice local vibes in the area.

I've been following this hostel for a while, and the 'all-female' aspect immediately appealed to me. It's quite close to the subway station (though it's a bit of a shame that the nearest exit only has stairs), so getting around is generally convenient. I had knee surgery, so I'd requested a lower floor in advance. The staff noticed and arranged a bottom bunk for me, even offering to help carry my luggage up, which was incredibly thoughtful. They provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable cups, disposable towels, and earplugs. You can take your toiletries bag to the staff to get a fresh towel for the day. Each bed has its own locker with upper and lower compartments, hangers, slippers, and hooks inside. My room had a private bathroom, and there's a larger communal bathroom on the third floor (though all showers and toilets are private), equipped with cotton swabs, toothpaste, hair ties, and other amenities. Hair dryers are located on the fourth floor next to the drying area, which is away from the sleeping areas and won't disturb others. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including a 24-hour 7-Eleven (the staff are also patient and helpful if you ask for directions). You need a key card to access the upper floors, and food deliveries are only brought to a rack on the first floor. The staff also inform you beforehand if there will be male staff working. The security is excellent. The common area on the first floor is always clean, and the pantry has hot and cold water. Overall, my stay was great, and I hope other guests will consciously follow the rules so everyone can have a good experience.

CChiapanecoLOVED this place. Feels like a real hostel, very social atmosphere. Many foreigners and friendly Chinese who spoke English. Most staff spoke english, which is a rarity in China.
Comfortable bed with light and a plug. Good hot water shower. Washing machine available for 5 yuan. Full kitchen, even has an air fryer.
Location is near one metro station, though biking is the easiest to get to Futian center. It's in a residential super-complex, so there's several grocery stores and restaurants, plus a large and lively park full of residents. A great window into Chinese daily urban life.

GGuest UserThe hostel is close to the metro station. The welcome package was thoughtful. The bed was clean, spacious and comfortable. The common area was good, although some people seemed to claim their spot and were there all the time. There were plenty of cleaning staff.
There was a dedicated makeup area which I was thankful for. I've stayed in many hostels recently, in which getting into the bathroom to take a shower has been near impossible due to people taking hours to do their make up in there! Someone used this area to conduct a series of TEFL lessons online. They were so loud. I could hear every word from my bed in the dorm. The soundproofing wasn't that great. The showers had a wet dry divide with a curtain separating the dry area from the shower. These didn't fully close. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff would fully open the curtain into the shower room which took away a sense of privacy from the corridor. What was the point of the curtains in the first place if they are just being kept open? The beds in the dorm had no hooks, so everything had to be sat on shelves. You are provided with a big, fluffy bath towel to use during the stay. However, there is no-where to put it after using it. There is a drying area for clothes on the balcony which was packed with clothes. I didn't see anyone hang their towel out there. Most people had it laying on their bed which is not hygienic. There are a lot of stairs to carry heavy luggage up! All in all, I enjoyed my stay. However, it was lacking some practical aspects that would have otherwise made it perfect.

GGuest UserNot really a youth hostel, more like beds in the flat of a lady. So facilities quite limited. The lady is very kind though.
The place is difficult to find, and it took a long time to check in because the lady was away.
