Harbin Hostels

I stayed in this youth hostel for almost two months, and I was really satisfied. At first, it was because it was cheap and the appearance was very interesting. After staying there, I stayed in this hostel again and again, and I didn’t even want to leave Harbin. In addition to regular performances, the owner's family is also very friendly and cares about the guests. They also provide recommendations for restaurants and attractions, and there are even groups for everyone to communicate with each other, like a big family. It's been very cold at night recently, and a group of people would be warming up outside and chatting, which was really warm. The entertainment items provided also include a singing room, billiards area, and library area. Even if you don't like to communicate with others, you can still find your own place. I personally like to choose a book to kill time on the sofa, which is very comfortable. In terms of transportation, it is very close to Harbin Station. You can also walk to Central Street, Red Brick Street, St. Sophia Church, Flood Control Memorial Tower, Songhua River and Stalin Park and other scenic spots. They are all within walking distance; there are also hotels nearby There is a local morning market and many delicious restaurants to choose from. I would especially recommend the Xiaopang BBQ restaurant next to it. It is a great deal at 4 yuan for youbian and it is so delicious😋 I will definitely stay here again next time I go back to Harbin. I sincerely recommend travelers who like to meet others and have personal time to come and experience it.

If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee. One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

I came to stay at Daoxiang again, so happy🥺 Harbin is still great, and Central Street is still beautiful~ The temperature has been really good recently, and there are not many people, so it is very comfortable to stay here, but it gets cold when it rains🥶 Doudou has gained weight, hahaha, and it is very comfortable to hold him. It is really comfortable to sit in the yard and bask in the sun when the weather is good, which is very healing💐 The staff are enthusiastic and attentive, and they are very patient to answer any questions. There are people cleaning every day, which is stable and reassuring👌🏻 I didn’t participate in Werewolf this time, but I learned some new games. Woohoo, I really met a lot of interesting and nice friends in Daoxiang, and the a**osphere is so good! I was so involved in the late-night chat that I almost didn’t get up to catch the bus. It’s a great location and there’s good public space to meet other people. Be advised though that the shower are communal showers without any partition. I always had the entire shower room for myself though while I was there, even with the ice&snow festival going on

The location is very good. It is 200 meters away from Central Street and close to the Flood Control Memorial Tower. The room is very clean. There is a police station downstairs. The safety is guaranteed. It is very peaceful to stay. However, there are many cats in the lobby on the first floor. If you are afraid of cats, this is not a good idea. Recommended. It’s a paradise for cat lovers. The boss is very caring and has rescued many kittens. There are also baby kittens in the garden. Give the boss a thumbs up.

I would like to confirm what the other people who stayed here--the place is very very clean and well maintained. I stayed here for five nights. At first I was worried whether I would find the hostel easily. It was really easy to find! Also, the bus stop going to Harbin Taiping Airport is just a 10 to 15 minute walk (with luggage) and less than 10 minutes (without luggage). Unlike the other hostels that I have stayed in, this hostel is just literally a fews steps away and in front from Exit 1 of Zhongyang Street (Main Street) Station. I usually don't write reviews but the owners were really kind and very welcoming. I stayed in other hostels and this hostel is really well maintained and not smelly. The was just one minor inconvenience that I encountered--there was only one shower. Most of the time the shower area is empty. I read that some other reviewers complained about noise, but I didn't notice any kind of noise during my stay. I also thought that since the hostel was near Zhongyang Street station, it would be very noisy. I didn't hear any noise coming from outside the building. Nevertheless, I had a very wonderful stay here in this hostel.

This hotel we booked through Xiaohongshu is really worth it. The lady and aunt are very welcoming. We wanted to pour water into ice, and the lady specially prepared a long spoon for us to pour it on. The meal was also delicious, mainly because of its high cost performance. Unlike Xuexiang Yabuli, eating is quite expensive, but it is highly recommended.

The location is very good, on Central Street, surrounded by many restaurants and bus stops. On the second floor of the community, there is a plaque on the street. Call the boss and he will guide you upstairs. The room and bathroom are clean and tidy, and the boss is very diligent in cleaning and tidying up. The floor where all girls live has two public bathrooms with plenty of hot water and hooks at the door to store things. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the living room, which is very convenient.

The North Pole International Youth Hostel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day.
