TTaiyangshen101Hotel location is very good, just next to the cathedral, within a kilometer walk, almost covers the important business district of Reykjavik, can meet all the requirements of life
GGuest UserFacilities: It is a family hotel with kitchen facilities, bathroom, and radiator to dry clothes quickly
Sanitation: Clean and sanitary, good
Environment: Close to Iceland bus station, you can walk there, close to the cathedral, and close to the beach
Service: The owner of the family hotel is serious, enthusiastic and easy to talk to. He recommended the hot springs to the locals, which is very good. I went there twice
HHimynameisalexPerfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, shared bathroom was also clean. Good spread for buffet breakfast and good amenities to use in this guesthouse. There was a strict check in at 3pm but the host let us wait in the waiting area when we arrived at 2:30. It has nearby bus stop but everything is walking distance if you brace the weather.
Llucy10The location of the hotel is good, close to the church and Fly bus station, about ten minutes' walk.
The kettle in the hotel was broken, so I had to boil water in a pot to make noodles.
There is no reception staff at the hotel. There is a notice posted on the door. You need to call the hotel to get the password to open the door and then take the room key to check in on your own.
GGuest UserI just wanted to be close to the Reykjavik Cathedral, but I didn't expect it to be so close. I saw the church right outside, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was like a hotel, but it had hostel facilities. There was a kitchen, shower room and toilet on each floor, and they were clean and easy to use.
FFernandoI was supposed to collect the room keys from the Vikings Hotel, which is located elsewhere, but the keys are left inside the room and they never sent me the email with the room number.
We were 2 adults and 2 children, but there were only blankets on the bed for 2 people, and only 2 towels for bathing.
The rest, everything is very good.
YYISHENGThe location of the hotel is very good, less than ten minutes walk from the church in the city center. Free parking at the door.
The rooms are really good, I stayed in two different rooms. One room is very modern, it is room 4.
Room 3 is a bit older, but has two separate rooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has two single beds.
Room 4 is a big bed, two toilets, a living room, and a sofa bed in the living room! There is a big Lg TV, which can be connected to a computer and a mobile phone.
The landlord has a cute cat and big dog. The clean staff is very polite and kind.
Except for the single room model, most of the rooms have a kitchen, so you can cook your own dishes, which is very comfortable. I stayed here for a total of six days because of isolation and I liked it very much. If you are very confused about where to live, I would recommend you to consider this one~
