A very special hotel, the Cardinal's private house 600 years ago, was purchased by the current family more than 100 years ago and opened as a hotel after being renovated.
There are 5 all-suite hotels, a restaurant and two living rooms on the first floor, full of modern art decoration, everywhere show the taste of the owner. The room is biased towards classical and natural style. The room is large. There is a small room to put luggage at the door. The wash basin is a large iron shell. The bathtub is very deep and it is very comfortable to sit down.
The garden is very large, known as the largest private garden in Avignon, with hundreds of years of eucalyptus trees, palms, a small bamboo forest, and even a goldfish pond. When the wind blows, the sound of the tree makes people fascinated. On one side of the garden is a small but delicate swimming pool surrounded by flowers and trees.
The hotel does not provide lunch and dinner, but it is very close to the city center and it is very convenient to go out to eat. There are not many breakfast options, but the quality is very good. The bread is organic cereal, fresh and delicious, you can call it an omelette or scrambled eggs.
This hotel is definitely the first choice for Avignon, you can experience the pure French style.
This is a property with two double beds and two single beds.
They say they can't use a double bed.
One single bed is inconvenient because it is in front of the bathroom and refrigerator.
Location is fairly poor: the closest cafe is 10 minutes walk, closest supermearket in 23 minutes. No sidewalks in this area - you always have to watch for cars in front and behind.
Hygiene: the room was clean and spacious, nicely conditioned - one of a few things that were good in this hotel.
Service: big disapointment: the reception only works 8 hours a day! You must read the emails from the hotel carefully and arrange late visit upfront. I arrived at 2am due to delayed flight and faced the closed metal door. It took me about 40 minutes to break through and get someone explaining to me over the phone in poor English how to get inside the room. The breakfast must be ordered 1 day upfront, tho hotel doesn't allow for pay-as-you-go. Room cleaning at extra costs. Guests have to clean the kitchen appliances and throw the garbage themselves when leaving, to prevent a fine.
Facilities: Wi-Fi is very poor, I couldn't make video calls. Every hour or so it gets disconnected. Swimming pool is small but nice.
Overall, the property seems overpriced for what you can get there.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the train station, a 7-minute walk from the airport L2 line platform, and a 2-minute walk from the beach. The overall location is satisfactory. There are scaffolding construction along the street downstairs, and the environment during the stay was not very satisfactory. The check-in process was very smooth and self-service. The room is next to the front desk and it is noisy, but the front desk guy is friendly and friendly, and check-out is also very convenient. There was no active room service during the three-day stay, and there was no room cleaning and tidying, which is quite poor. The facilities in the room are relatively complete

The apartment was good. Clean and quiet . All what you need is nearby. We didn’t take any transportation because everything what you need is around 20 min by foot, we checked ✅. Church ⛪️, Main Street when you can shopping, Railway station, hub, city centre everything is near. Just what was bothering us it’s the smell of Chinese food which attendances we’re consuming . Maybe a bit smell of wet, but not critical. There was a fridge, 2 fans (because we didn’t have an AC), big window with cute lites. The owner is nice Chinese lady with whom I also spoke Chinese. For this price this place is amazing. 10 from 5😂👍
Pictures are from places nervy and couple from apartment . I hope my review will be useful.
This is a treasure hotel, the space is very large, clean and elegant, and it is very comfortable to bring a small courtyard. Very good value for money place. The service attitude is very good, can communicate in English, at least the two receptions I encountered have no problems. The hotel is a courtyard type, the reception will lead you to see the room, otherwise you will not find it.

GGuest UserThe owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights.
The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign.
The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well.
Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.
ZZhengxinxinThis is a shocking villa hotel very close to the stone city. The villa has two oversized cedars. The couple runs it. The people are very good. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room is also 360-degree view. Even the toilet has a view. I am the least fond of writing reviews because I am not a blogger. Xiaohongshu also writes a lot. Very good to provide reference. This is my favorite one since my trip. The unique geographical environment and design style are simply magical. So unreal, but it really exists. I have lived in a very luxurious brand hotel. All kinds of boutique design hotels. Nothing that touched me so much.
AAlonReally cute and peaceful place. Like a small 7 units boutique Hotel/Airbnb style.
The owner lives on the top floor was very attentive and helpful at all times.
Located In a quiet neighbourhood only 10 mins. easy drive to the beach and restaurants.
Beautiful oasis like pool in the back and relaxing jacuzzi and wet sauna.
Simple yet lovely continental breakfast was served in a room every morning.
Free indoors car parking.

GGuest UserA super satisfying experience, I decided to come to this place after seeing this holiday wooden house. The wooden house is fully equipped, especially the kitchen and dining area on the balcony. It is simply great. The bathroom is large and the water is very flush.
The hotel is in a nature reserve and the flamingo is right around you.
GGuest UserThe structure is very beautiful, immersed in green and quiet and above all very close to what was our destination. They gave us a very nice and spacious apartment with so much terrace, but there was no towel, feeder, towels and soap for hands. They told us they were not included in the living room, but then, on our request, we were provided with towels and towels.
Unfortunately, and it is a sin, because the place is really beautiful, the room was not clean to debt; in addition to dust and screws, we found items under beds and in the bathroom.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a very friendly, warm and very comfortable, and is very comfortable with a very good breakfast in the patio.
We will come back.
