I chose this hotel when I came to Tianjin with my children. The transportation is very convenient and the bus and subway stations are very close. The room is clean and tidy. The owner also considerately changed the room to a king-size bed for my family of three, which the children liked very much. The location is really good inside the Wudadao area. The hotel is more like a hostel type of accommodation, very tastefully decorated so it’s different from chain hotels and it has a personal touch - more recommended for young people since no lift. A suggestion for improvement: the carpet on the stairs is really dirty! The rest of the place is clean but the carpet really looks quite gross…

The first impression of the place was a bit of a miss, because I had some difficulties finding this place. My map app did get me close to the place, but there isn't really a distinctive sign to show me where to enter as all the apartment complexes look the same. The host doesn't speak English, so best try to add their WeChat and communicate with them there. As the name implies, this place is like living in an apartment, but this apartment feels a little outdated and will not have the necessities to do any cooking. This place solely has rooms and a washroom. My bedroom was okay, I wished there were electrical outlets next to the bed. The washroom was decent, but they should add a clothes rack as I was just hanging my clothes on the door handle when I showered. There are stores and restaurants around the area, so there aren't any issues finding food or drinks. Location wise, you can already see that this place is quite far from the city center. It's almost a 1 to 1.5-hour bus ride.
