GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

GGuest UserHaha, I definitely have to give this a great review! It's pet-friendly, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The environment was also very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic. The location was a bit hard to find, but there was staff to help with luggage. My check-in experience was fantastic, I highly recommend it! I'll choose this place again next time I visit! Haha

GGuest UserStaying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks.
Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares.
The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food.
This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

GGuest UserThis Airbnb is located in a mixed-use building on levels 16-17. The building is very old, and the exterior looks a little run-down. It is a tall building with 29 floors, but there are only 2 lifts, and it can get busy with locals and tourists all using the lifts. However, once you enter the room, everything feels new and clean.The room looks like what is shared in the official photo minus the large view of the night scene of the river in the window. From my room, I could see a part of the night view, but mainly I was facing another block of high-rises. Regardless, the room is clean and has all the basic amenities.
There is no front desk, and you will need to collect the lift card and room card by yourself in a locker. The owner will tell you the PIN for the locker on the day of your check-in. You communicate all your needs via WeChat. You have to manage your expectations since there's no in-person service desk; some of your requests may not be fulfilled in a timely manner.We had requested a travel adaptor that was acknowledged and said to be delivered to our room, but it never came. There is only one shared washer-cum-dryer on level 17 that is always busy. The Airbnb provides one bottle of shared detergent; however, the service staff may not promptly replenish empty detergent. We had informed staff that the detergent was empty in the morning, but by nighttime, the bottle was still empty.
If you manage all these expectations, the Airbnb is actually located in a very good location that is within walking distance to Hongya Cave and the Liberation Monument. There are multiple ways to enter this building. Either through level 1 which leads to the ground level and you can walk to Hongya Cave or via level 13, which leads you to connect to another building which you can walk through and exit to another ground level that you can use to walk to Liberation Monument. There are also many food options in the vicinity.
I would stay again if I'm back.

Whether you are visiting for leisure, family vacation, or business purposes, the location provides excellent accessibility.
The room exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that ensured a restful sleep every night. Cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a remarkable job of keeping the room fresh, tidy, and well stocked with amenities throughout my stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, close to popular attractions, and very friendly for tourists like us who want to go out and check in. The room is clean and tidy, with no odor at all. The bedding feels very comfortable, and I feel very refreshed after a night's sleep. The bathroom is well separated into dry and wet areas, with plenty of hot water and a stable bath water temperature. The most surprising thing is the view outside the window. When you open the curtains at night, you can see the night view of the city, and the atmosphere is fully maximized.

GGuest UserHotel place is good like if u go out for eating there will be everything outside of this hotel and also has so many famous cafes. From the balcony view is also good. And this room is good for 2 people.
If u wanna have some housekeeping u should tell front desk before 2pm. Also check in was so easy u just add them on wechat then u will get self check in.
But hot water is little bit problematic u should take shower in 10mins otherwise hot water will gone. Also bathroom door is not for girls. If u close this door u can’t open it. Everytime my boyfriend come to me and open this door.
