The room uses a đpassword lock to open the door, which is very convenient and you don't have to worry about bringing keys. The room is equipped with distilled water and basic cooking utensils, which is very practical for short-term stay. You can enjoy the fireworks at night from the terrace đ, the atmosphere is romantic and surprising! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the night market. The cable car station and the famous âKissing Bridgeâ are also nearby. The location is super convenient. The overall experience was great, highly recommended!
It's a nice hotel with a nice welcome drink and a cool towel. I hope to have a bigger portion of welcome drinks and give goodbye drinks as well. I prefer a hot towel than a cool towel during the check-in.
My room has a good view of the fireworks, nice!!!

The place is a tropical paradise with an astonishing beach and gardens. They offer an outstanding island experience with a very nice night market opposite the hotel. The rooms are brand new with all the needed comfort. But itâs also noticeable that the area is so big that staff are not capable
Of keeping it tidy and clean. There was another room in our villa that had the door open during all our stay. We had a small incident in the bathroom with the mirror falling when I went to sleep. But the management reacted very quickly and fixed everything. Despite that it was a bit scary and luckily that the mirror didnt break. It was not fixed very well to the wall. The breakfast is good. Would come back despite the small issues that we has
First the food in room service is very bad quality and overpriced. I've got sick and we had to use it but i preferred stay hungry then. Not enoug sunbeds at the beach: you should go to the beach not later then 8 am to get a couch. Only one person speaks good english at reception and is really helpful and nice guy named Felix. Other staff gives you wrong information and their english is hardly understandable. During the morning time they shower the grass and it smells with a toilet septic.
The breakfast is ok and location is perfect. The beach itself is probably the best at Phu Qu Ok
Overall, this hotel is good!
Pros:
- peace and quite, nice hotel environment for relaxation.
- Pleasant staff, even when we check out, a staff comes to our room door to help us grab our baggage to the reception counter.
- Spacious room, toilet and bath room (both shower and bath tube available).
- 2-king sized beds, great!
- Free airport transfer, better email the hotel directly to make your request at least one day in advance.
- Itâs a small scaled resort, but reasonable varieties of choices in breakfast.
- Free minimal water for refill.
- Welcome drink and fruit at room
- free bike rental
Cons:
- the resort is located in a very remote area, like inside a village. Many taxi drivers not sure the location, so many times they lose their ways to the hotel.
- Actually, not recommend for 1-2 girls to book this hotel, its remoteness is really a big concern, both day time and night time!
- I feel scared in the toilet and shower area, because they install something like mosquito net only in window areas. That means I can see through outside, vice versa. I wonder I may see some eyes starring at me when I shower at nightâŠ. Scary!
- Their hot water tap takes over 15 mins for heating, wasting lot of water to wait for showerâŠ
- Eco-friendly hotel, they provide plastic reusable sandals, so better bring your own sandals if needed
I was very disappointed by my stay, unexpected much better service from Movenpick.
The worst part is that the hotel is located near something that looks like a factory or maybe a recycling plant, and there is constant smog on the territory. We literally had to escape the resort everyday to breathe normal air in the other parts of the island.
The food choice was also disappointing, no seafood like you'd expect to have on the island.
But the hotel and beach are very clean. The housekeeping department really do the job well.
The hotel offers free breakfast and chocolate hour (3:30-4:30pm). The breakfast has a great selection of local and international food. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. We stayed 2 nights at direct pool access room with a small nice garden. It is a big resort, they have a free buggy service to travel between the buildings. It is walkable distance about 10 mins walk to the main building and the beach.
The hotel is located at the north of the island. While the location may seem a bit far, but itâs centrally located on the island, making it easy to explore. They have free shuttle service back and forth to the airport every 2 hours. The hotel doesnât have any scooter for rent, no scooter shop near by, so we took a free buggy to the main gate and took a free vinbus to Grand World (15 mins to Grand World), and also we booked hotel pay shuttle bus to the night market (20 mins to night market), 6pm pick up from the hotel and 9:20pm to return to the hotel.
There is one mini mart and a nice coffee and massage shop right next to the main gate, you can take the free buggy to the main gate, the vinbus stop just next to the main gate. The vinbus service is free in Phu Quoc Island. There is a big supermarket Z Mart just one bus stop away from the hotel.
Everything was fine and nice, we would definitely return. (Please see the photos for the buggy schedule and the location of the vinbus stop)
I stayed here because of a morning flight, but I actually didn't have high expectations because I've stayed there several times. It's expensive for the size of the facility... I wish the lobby was a little cooler. I was sweating while checking in.
There are a lot of 4-star hotels in Rakja, so I stayed one night with my friends after reading the reviews.
Although it is a bit old, I had a good rest at a reasonable price.
The pool isn't that small and my friends enjoyed swimming in the slightly salty water.
I will visit again next time I have the chance.
Stayed in Building B, Deluxe Suite Ocean View, 3rd floor. The room was indeed beautiful and comfortable, but starting from 9 or 10 AM, extremely loud music with heavy bass made it impossible to sleep.
We had already paid for the airport transfer when booking. Before checking in, we communicated via messages that we would be changing hotels after checkout and not leaving Phu Quoc. (I thought we could take the shuttle to the airport and then head to our next hotel ourselves.) However, they insisted that I provide a flight number to arrange the shuttle. Later, they told me to arrange the timing with the front desk upon check-in.
When I checked in, I asked the front desk if we could be dropped off at our next hotel instead of the airport since it was along the way. They said OK, and there was no need to arrange the time in advanceâwe could confirm it on the checkout day. However, it turned out they were referring to the free VinBus, not the hotel's paid shuttle service that I had already paid for. The front desk staff at check-in completely misled us, and as a result, we were unable to use the hotel shuttle.
We noticed that the door lock kept beeping, and our keycard couldnât open the door. We asked a hotel staff member to report the issue, assuming it would be fixed by the time we returned. However, when we got back at night, the problem was still there. I had to walk to the front desk again, and it seemed like no one had addressed our request, meaning it had been completely ignored. Finally, they helped us enter the room and told us the door lock battery was low and could only be fixed the next day.
We ordered room service for a late-night snack, but by early morning, I had diarrhea, and my girlfriend was vomiting. I was left completely drained and unable to continue our itinerary. When we reported this suspected food poisoning incident at checkout, the front desk simply said, âOkay, we will pass on the message,â and that was it. No apology, no compensation.
Only the exterior looks five-star, but everything else fails miserably.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location close to public transportation, the night market, and a cluster of pagodas and temples. Rooms facing the ocean have beautiful sunset views.
GGuest UserVilla is large and clean, with a pretty big swimming pool that can actually swim. Services are good, providing an app to communicate with the staff and able to book services through it, like book buggy or in villa BBQ etc. But most of the staff need to improve their English speaking abilities, i guess only 1/3 of the staff can actually communicate with English. Other than that, itâs a very good villa.
GGuest UserThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.
GGuest UserOverall experience is good. The location is about 15 mins from airport and there's a small night market opposite to the hotel, makes it easy to get something to eat.
The room was okay, the cleanliness needs much more improvement, under the bed was full of dirts and water glasses is visibly dirty. The room is not sound proof at all, we can hear people walking and talking in the hallway and kids playing and screaming from the pool.
Breakfast buffet is great, we love the asian variety. The pool is large, plenty of spaces for kids to play. The kids club is small and the toys look worn out, not recommended.
CCurious Ape1. Missing amenity: NOT all rooms have washing machine inside, even though it is clearly stated that this is included in the room amenities. The host/reception staff did NOT specify this information before OR after check in. Even if the machine is there, the host/reception staff does not provide any token amount of laundry detergent. So remember to âBring your own detergentâ
2. Vague communications: Questions emailed to the host via Trip.com are not always answered by the host (ie either no response at all or very late reply). Trip.com was helpful in advising me to email directly to the host (**************************) when the host failed to respond to some of my emails. However, it seems like the host does not check itâs own email box so I never get any response from that mailbox
3. Tedious check in process: There isnât any clear information about the exact location of their office. Check in information is given ONLY via Chatting apps (eg Zalo, Kakao, Line or Whatsapp) at exactly the check in time, 2 pm (rooms are highly unlikely to be ready before that). I went directly to their physical office for assistance. Their office (with blue signage âRosieâ) is shabby and dubious-looking and totally incongruous with the given âLuxury Hillside Apartmentâ name). You MUST have mobile data roaming at that point to receive the room access code. The security guards based at each buildingâs beautiful reception floor have nothing to do with the rooms managed by this tiny âRosieâ office
4. Minimal staff: Cleaning staff hired by this Rosie agency seems unable to cope with the large number of room cleaning prior to guestsâ check in. In the end, I think the limited manpower could only manage very basic, superficial cleaning of rooms. Ants seem to have built a colony in hidden crevices in some of the units as thereâre always some crawling around the kitchenette/clothes-hanging cabinet every now and then
5. Itâs a 50/50 chance of whether you are assigned a fairly new and really nice apartment or a worn-out one with some broken down/missing fixtures. You just have to risk it, in return for a stunning view of the fireworks (in rooms facing the Kiss Bridge)
6. The agency staff are okay and they do try to help. Unfortunately, I find them somewhat inexperienced and their services and expertise are a mismatch for this fine category of apartments. The Rosie agency staff have a tendency to give routine, generic answers when dealing with feedback and complaints. They probably can do well in operating guest houses or backpackersâ lodge where expectations from guests are much lower
JJune Yoon YiI visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.
GGuest Userloved their property with all trees and flowers + cute pool and beach in front, wooden house and stone bath tub.
but the service was kinda slow. There was a long wait at the reception to get response from them when I had trouble and complain about it. communication did not go smoothly, many local staff donât speak english, plus food does not tasty at all include breakfast and hotel restaurant for the dinner. not many option for vegetarian.
prepare repellent at night, if you wanna sit at the terrace or open area at the restaurant.
UUticaI was impressed by the infinity pool when I arrived at the hotel. We have booked a ocean view room which faced the ocean with a great view, the room is spacious. The staff at reception counters and restaurant were polite and pleasant. Food at restaurants were good. However, all our good impression was ruined by the arrangement on airport transfer. I did booked the airport transfer for my return flight before this trip, and confirmed to have 4 people via email. Unluckily, they had made a wrong estimation on the number of people for airport transfer, the shuttle bus was overbooked. My husband need to sit on a wooden chair though the transfer time was 15 mins only. I was wonder that such kind of mistake was made by a famous & luxury hotel group.
JJoelIt's a nice hotel with a nice welcome drink and a cool towel. I hope to have a bigger portion of welcome drinks and give goodbye drinks as well. I prefer a hot towel than a cool towel during the check-in.
