The hotel is a bit far from the sights and the city center - about 20 minutes walk. I took a single room with a discount. The room is clean, there is air conditioning. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a bathtub with very high sides. The hangers in the closet are arranged in such a way that the closet door does not open properly, it is difficult to hang clothes on the hangers - your hands do not reach. The furniture is old, some things are broken. There is a safe, but it is very high, you have to stand on a chair to put something in it. The hallway-kitchen has everything you need: a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, etc. Unfortunately, there is no iron. The hotel has an elevator, good soundproofing. The room is suitable for travelers for 1-2 nights. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel, because the price was low for July.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I had to wait in the dining room for two hours until they opened. And luckily I got in; by chance, people were leaving. Despite that, the location was fine, and so was the room. The pillows smelled.

The hotel was quite nice with good vibe and not far away from the city centre. The room is big enough for the big suitcase. The hotel also offered the restaurant and the reception place is good for working as well.

The view of the hotel is really beautiful. The room is very big. I feel that I can have fun staying in the hotel without going anywhere. The infinity pool is definitely not to be missed. If you drive by yourself, it is also convenient to go to various places around here. Just be sure to pay attention to the traffic lights when entering and exiting the parking lot. If you encounter oncoming cars on the way, it will be quite chaotic.

Hotel was lovely. Breakfast was fine. Location was very close to the station, so convenient. Marseille on the whole is quite a dirty city, so I can see why some people say the hotel is in a dodgy area, but the location was fine. Very convenient.

I had an excellent experience here. I absolutely loved my room was spacious with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable which was great as I have a bad back. The staff were were fantastic ! They suggested many places for me to visit and made me feel comfortable. The night staff especially Omar true gentleman! Extremely helpful. The swimming pool and hammam were top tier. Must go. The decor and the lobby area felt just like home, beautifully decorated. The tram and food shops are 2/3mins walk. So convenient. I love everything about my stay here except the last morning as I was woken up by some builders which is minor when you have an amazing place to stay.

Excellent! We were very! warmly welcomed at the reception, before we could not reach it because of a blocking the access road to the hotel and our Navi found no way. After a call at the hotel, a staffer came running from there! and opened the lock and led us alongside our car to the hotel. He then accompanied my husband to the parking place, because it was complicated to the reserved parking place in a large hall because of an event with a quite high dignity car, for which the police had blocked everything. This was an unusual event in Orange, but we were very helped from the hotel with the car. Our junior suite was very large with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was the largest we had in 6 weeks of French holiday, all perfectly equipped, classic style, but with very beautiful pads/dls. The shower was very large and nothing was wet outside and the floor of the tile in the shower was not smooth, but very safe (much ! better than in most other hotels). Shower was a pleasure there! Everything was beautifully furnished, NOT as in another guest review written “loveless”, that is not true. The heating worked well (November) and you could sleep at open window, so beautifully quiet it was. We don't have breakfast there, so no opinion about it. Location perfect in the center. A wonderful stay, absolutely recommendable, thank the hotel and its staff!!

Hotel Arles Plaza is one of the good options to choose from when traveling to Arles. The location is good, parking is provided. You can also use the exercise facilities and swimming pool. I did not use breakfast. / I visited in early April, and although there were many students on a group tour, it was not noisy or interfered with the use of the facilities.

TTravelereMy GF and I spontanepusly needed a place to sleep during our travels. The best discription would be a hostel styled place with private rooms. Unfortunately its not well isolated and showers/toilets are shared. Hotel permises are gated and secured with an entry code, parling is available at no additional costs. Overall good service for price that is paid

GGuest UserThis hotel ” Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer ”'s exterior in real life looks like the picture on their website, yet the interior has a left a lot to be desired. The location is a bit off from the main hustle & bustle in central Nice and it takes at least 15-20 by UBER to get to Nice city centre where the real touristy life is happening. The hotel is very basic, the glass door leading to the balcony has finger prints, the bed is too soft, the air con is not cool enough for very hot days in Nice. The lobby staff at our stay were functioning normally but you would not say they were outstanding, nothing too warm or welcoming. More like an upgraded youth hostel rather than what we expected as a 4* hotel. The room has a balcony that overlooks the streets and is in a safe and quiet area. They have a bar and a restaurant but we were never tempted to try them. They also say they have shuttle bus to the nearby beach and also shuttle bus service to the airport, but they never mentioned that it requires 48 hours to book the airport shuttle not until we wanted to ride in it and then found we were told we just not eligible as we only stayed for one night and did not reach the 48 hour prior booking requirement. And glad that we only stayed for one night because everything they could offer was just very basic. One thing that staunchly stood out as poorly designed is the bathroom door. It is a brown glass door that is all see through, so there is absolutely zero privacy when one takes a shower. We asked if they could have another room with a proper door and they told us every bathroom door is of brown glass and therefore is transparent. They sounded very nonchalant as if we were too difficult, but when we asked for a solution, they then told us a lot of other guests had the same problem and the solution is to provide guests with a bedsheet for us to figure out how we could make a ' curtain ' out of it. So we realised that we were not the only ones to have voiced this crucial concern, then why hasn't anyone in the management bothered to do something to rectify this very bad situation? The answer is simple---merely shows how indifferent the whole management body is. They just can't be bothered and they don't care. Hotel Indigo Cagnes-Sur-Mer provided us with a very mediocre room that yields mediocre comfort, it displays mediocre interior, and gives guests robotic service. Bad bathroom design is especially leaving a bad impression because other than the useless transparent brown glass, the bathtub has only erected a 1/2 glass shield that does not prevent water from splashing out, so taking a shower is not relaxing and afterwards you need to wipe the wet floor for the next user. The water pressure of the shower is weak, shower head only has two jet settings. The water drainage is very bad cos the water fails to drain off smoothly and it is gross to be standing in a pool of dirty soapy water as you shower. In this day & age it is surprising that this hotel can still get a 4* rating. All these very average if not substandard issues really do not do Nice, an exciting and pretty city, justice. So this hotel does not live up to their claim as 4* and we will seek elsewhere when we visit enticing Nice again.

NNat 李凤临Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved.

GGuest UserWe stayed in Sofitel Marseille for 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located right on the periphery of the old port of Marseille where all the shops and restaurants are located. It takes about a 15-minute walk to get from the hotel all the way to the centre of the old port so the hotel is fairly insulated from the hustle and bustle of the old port. The exterior of the hotel looks a bit dated but the interiors feel very fresh, clean and bright. We upgraded our room to a deluxe room facing the old port at the reception and we thought it was worth it. We never tired of waking up to a view of the old port with a clear blue sky. The room itself was quite clean and spacious. There was enough room to open up two luggages and still move around comfortably. There is also a turn down service where the staff will put out the bedroom slippers and play some nice Jazz music when you come back. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night. The air conditioning control did not seem to work and it seems like the air conditioning is centrally controlled so the in-room controls did nothing. I could not sleep the first night as it was too warm and stuffy so we asked for a ventilateur (fan) the next day. That helped us to sleep better. Obviously, if you are planning to stay during the winter months then the heat at night should not be an issue. The staff at the reception were always pleasant, warm, friendly and polite. We were upsold the room with a view when we checked in so that should say something about how friendly the staff were. It was EUR70 per night for the room with a view and it included overnight parking (EUR27 per night) so it was really only about EUR50 extra per night. The valet and the concierge were all very helpful and nice and they all speak English well enough. If you intend to park here, do note that the roads within the hotel property can be quite narrow and the parking lots are quite narrow as well. It may be worthwhile getting the valet to help you park your car at least for the first day because driving from the car rental agencies at the Marseille train station to the hotel was stressful enough for us. We paid around EUR300 - 350 a night but we thought it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

SSarah0405The location is not far from the center, and it was good because it had a variety of kitchen utensils. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was also spacious. The balcony had a factory view in front, but I also saw trees and it was nice because it was wide open. It was within 10 minutes by Bolt taxi to the airport limousine bus terminal, which cost less than 10 euros, so I was able to safely catch an early morning flight.

XXibanyaxiangdaodaijianxunThe room was spacious and the location was a bit messy. The surrounding streets did not dare to go out. The hotel did not have its own parking lot and there was no temporary parking space at the entrance of the hotel. Self-driving tour is not recommended. The parking lot recommended by the hotel is a bit far away, and it costs 30 euros a night.

NNitaThis hotel is beautiful but up on the hill. But car cannot drive to hotel entrance. There is a car valet service at the entrance of the road. Thank God for the two great porters that helped to carry our luggages up to our rooms. Great room with spectacular view and a sauna pool overlooking the hills. Dinner at the restaurant in this hotel is amazing!!! Must try, very romantic and food is delicious, server is attentive.

YYunyoudebaobaoThis is the hotel where I stayed in Avignon, the second stop of my October trip to Southern Europe and Italy. It can be said that it exceeded my expectations. The hotel with an average daily price of ¥1000+ has very complete facilities~ And the location is very, very good~ It is very convenient to go to the Avignon Papal Palace, Broken Bridge, etc. The breakfast especially exceeded my expectations [heart]. The breakfast environment is also the French romance that I love very much [heart] [heart][heart][heart] If there is a flaw in the ointment, it is probably that the sound insulation of the room is slightly poor~ But this is a European-style family hotel, which is understandable. The room space is not very large. If you live alone, it is not a big problem~ Two or three people can choose a larger room. The overall experience is very good~ Next time I come to Avignon, I will probably choose this one [heart]
