Hotel is located at city centre and we found the room to be comfortable and with good basic amenities. No room slipper, shaver like most hotels in Asia, we were provided with shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, vanity kit. Hotel also has gym, pool and hot tub. Overall a pleasant stay with comfortable bed.
The buffet dinner is very disappointing for $75/each, but the room is quite clean & tidy, this is the second time that no bathrobe supplied since last visit July 2024 even we had requested upon the reception agreed to send someone down. The service attitude from the hotel staff had been declined since changed hand from originally Holiday Inn Rotorua.
There was fire evacuation alarm happening at 5:20am and many people was forced to evacuate to the outdoor where it’s quite cold & windy, we didn’t receive any apology or concern of comfort from the hotel. Looks like is not their business and they don’t care!
But overall, we still will come again in the future as we enjoy the facilities and the location there.
Stayed here for a two day staycation away from Auckland. This hotel was formally Rydges Rotorua. The premises was a little bit dated but otherwise very comfortable and satisfactory. From check in to check out the staff were fantastic. My room was serviced on my second day of the stay which was very much appreciated. I had dinner in the restaurant on the first night of my stay and that was also fantastic. And also a couple of beverages at the bar. I was also upgraded into a room that had a spa bath and a view of the Rotorua racecourse. I would highly recommend this hotel
The location is very central and convenient. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The room has a comfortable bed and luxuriously roomy bathroom. We charged our electric car overnight in the hotel’s car park. Our family of three had a comfortable stay throughout. We would definitely book this place again.
Great location in the heart of Rotorua, right next door to the lake and Eat Street restaurants and came highly recommended to us, but left us a little disappointed - especially for the price.
Room a little outdated, holes in the blinds which let the light in, dirty grout in the shower and the shower head was broken and the glasses were dirty. I never ever leave a bad review, but after a great experience at 4 other different hotels across NZ this trip, the front desk lady on arrival at the Novotel was not the friendliest - it felt like we were an inconvenience to her. It was check in time and she was the only staff member on with a queue of people.
On a positive note, the bed was comfortable.
The front desk service is very good, but the hotel does not provide bottled water and slippers. Ladies are advised to bring their own conditioner. There are food courts and supermarkets near the hotel, so shopping is also very convenient.
With a stay at The Atrium Apartments in Tauranga (Mount Maunganui), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Mount Maunganui and Mount Hot Pools. This beach aparthotel is 0.1 mi (0.2 km) from Pilot Bay Beach and 0.2 mi (0.3 km) from Maunganui Beach.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities including a sauna and a fitness center. Additional amenities at this Mediterranean aparthotel include complimentary wireless internet access, a picnic area, and barbecue grills.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 60 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring kitchens with full-sized refrigerators/freezers and ovens. Rooms have private furnished balconies. Flat-screen televisions with premium TV channels are provided, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and microwaves, and housekeeping is provided once per stay.
[Location] The location of the hotel is north of the city of Tauranga, but it is not far away, which is about 800m.
[Service] The service is okay, because I arrived early, I ordered coffee in the lobby and waited for a while. After that, the front desk got the room card to find you and said the room was Ready.
[Health] Overall good
[Facilities] The hotel does not have sound insulation at all. The super noisy facilities are too old, but it does not break. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes and slippers. It only provides shampoo conditioner and soap. If necessary, you can ask at the front desk. (I bring my own toiletries and slippers) The air conditioner has a serious noise. The position of the plug is not provided on the bed. It is too inconvenient to go to the charging bathroom under the TV. The design of the washstand in the bathroom is particularly shallow and old-fashioned. Trouble hotel free parking underground and outdoor but underground needs to find unreserved parking spaces or it will be towed away
After the follow-up check-out complained, the hotel sent two breakfasts, but the breakfast type was too small ... you know, but after all, do n’t want the money.
Clean and nice deco room, lovely water view, spacious bathroom, however, the facilities such as gym and cleanliness in public areas can be improved. As to location, if you drive, that’s no a problem at all, would love to recommend this resort.

GGuest UserThere is the main road running across the campsite. So we had to cross the road every time we wanted to access the facilities and amenities.
Nice view and beach access with river stream in the site. Good for morning walks. Facilities were clean and plentiful.
Camper sites were close to one another and are accessed only by a narrow road. It could pose a problem when more than 1 vehicle is moving in and out. To make situation worse, the waste dump point is along this road and vehicles need to wait for it to be vacant before accessing the other side.
GGuest UserIn the trip to New Zealand that just ended, I had an extremely wonderful and unforgettable experience. From the carefully planned tour route, to the professional and responsible travel agency arrangements, to the wonderful explanations of the tour guides and the meticulous and careful service of the team leader Dai Jie, every link is perfect. The arrangement of the tour route is unique. Our itinerary covers many highlights of the North and South Islands of New Zealand, from the bustling city of Auckland on the North Island to the magical geothermal wonders of Rotorua; from the magnificent mountains and rivers of Queenstown on the South Island to the bright starry sky of Lake Tekapo. Whether it is natural scenery or cultural customs, we can enjoy them to our heart's content. The itinerary for each day is reasonable and compact, which will not make people feel hurried and tired, but also make full use of time and deeply experience the unique charm of each place. The travel agency's arrangements are very thoughtful. The accommodation options are even more intimate, from warm homestays to luxurious hotels, which can meet the needs of different tourists, and the superior geographical location makes it convenient for us to travel and rest. In terms of catering arrangements, not only can we taste the local specialties, but also fully consider the differences in tourists' tastes to ensure that everyone can eat to their satisfaction. The explanations by tour guide Jerry and team leader Dai Jie were a highlight of the trip. They are well-versed in New Zealand's history, culture, geography, etc. Every time they visit a scenic spot, they can give us a vivid, interesting and easy-to-understand explanation, which gives us a deeper understanding and knowledge of this beautiful country. Whether it is the mysterious legends of Maori culture or the ecological habits of the unique local animals and plants, they can all be told.
The team leader's attentive service makes people feel warm. From patient communication and careful preparation before the trip to the care and concern for every tourist during the trip, he always accompanies us with enthusiasm and professionalism. Jay can solve any problems quickly and effectively, so that our trip has no worries. The happiest thing is that the team leader's photography buff is full. Take beautiful pictures and videos for everyone throughout the journey. Finally, make a travel Vlog for everyone. Be sure to add chicken legs. This trip to New Zealand has become a precious and beautiful memory in my life because of the excellent travel route arrangement and thoughtful team leader service. Amway recommends the Antelope Tribe to friends who want to explore New Zealand. I believe they will definitely bring you an equally wonderful journey!

KKAmazing ambience and landscape inside of the Premise. Self-guided hiking tours were really nice, and I enjoy seeing all the wild lives inside of the lodge. Spacious rooms and amazing views. I enjoyed my stay very much.
