"I usually stay at this hotel whenever I visit Rayong for business. The price is reasonable, even during peak season, and overall my stays here have been consistent and satisfactory. However, during this particular stay, I encountered an issue with the toilet in my room. A foul smell spread throughout the room and woke me up in the middle of the night. After checking, I noticed that after the last flush, the toilet bowl did not refill with water. The dry bowl likely allowed sewer gas to escape, causing the unpleasant smell to fill the room. So, after flushing the toilet again, the odor gradually subsides into early morning. Aside from this incident, everything else during the stay was as expected. While this experience has made me more cautious about checking for similar issues in the future, it was not serious enough to stop me from staying at this hotel again. But it is something management may want to look into."

"A great hotel offering excellent value for money. I initially booked for just one night, but after seeing how nice and clean the room was, I immediately decided to extend my stay for another. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. It's conveniently located just over a kilometer from both the Starlight Night Market and the bus station for Bangkok-bound buses from Rayong, which is about a 20-minute walk away."

"- The hotel's location is awesome, right next to Central Rayong shopping mall, just a few steps away. This place is part of the Hilton chain, in their affordable format. They don't do luggage handling, which is fine. - This hotel is super new and clean, totally decked out, and the bathroom is huge. The hairdryer is new, and the TV is modern. Plus, they've got stuff for wheelchairs and an SOS button in the room if you need help. - The staff welcomed us and served us well. The dining room is medium-sized, with in-door and out-door areas, and the food tastes good. - The space in front of each room is pretty proportional, which is great for privacy, but the soundproofing between rooms might not be the best. We can hear doors closing or stuff banging through the ceiling and walls. - If you're staying during the festival, there might be noisy events with loud music in the mall's forecourt, usually from 7 PM to midnight. Maybe probably ask the hotel about it after booking your room. We were pretty stoked with this place. If we can, we'll totally come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The facilities are ok but when I was there, the building just finished building and some facilities are still on process. The food is great but the location isn't convenient, I had to walk 2 buildings away from where I stayed to have a breakfast. "The room was a bit underwhelming; they called it 'industrial style,' but it just felt sparse. The bedding was the main issue – the duvet cover felt thin and cheap, honestly a bit off-putting. The location was also just okay. I booked it because I saw reviews mentioning two night markets nearby, which was true. The night markets were lively and very affordable. However, it's actually a kilometer or two from the more bustling city center. I'm not sure why it has such high ratings; I found it pretty average and wouldn't choose it again."

"what an amazing stay! i have spent 1 night and got an anniversary set up in the room which is very cute. the room size is the big benefit of the hotel not including game rooms, nice swimming pool and other services i have received during my stay. the breakfast offers you an international dishes whether Thai, Japanese or Western. The bay/beach area during October is great and the water is clear enough for the family to let their kids enjoy swimming!"

"Very nice and clean hotel. Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast spread is good. Only issue I have is for seafood buffet. Staff did not explain in detail the price… saw in menu board at entrance that buffet is 859 baht and free flow of wine 899 baht. My understanding was with wine the buffet was 899 but when the bill came it was 859 +899. The BBQ meat were not great but the cold seafood were ok"

"Tamarind Farden Hotel at Rayong that we have stayed for 4 days, have given us an extraordinary great experience and pleasant impression ! It's not a mainstream hotel but its staff were courteous. The hotel area is very clean and wide. The size of our room was big, really spacious and clean. Our compliments to the cleaning staff there. The car parking area is really huge and convenient to access the hotel main area. The dining area is quite spacious, and the staff was extremely attentive. I will help to c choose foods that are not readily provided on the table. They are aimed to serve you. Foods are changed every day ! They are delicious, although not of huge selections, but are suffice ! I do recommend future travellers visiting Rayong to stay there for their next visit to Rayong. We will be back there !"

GGuest UserSaikaew Villa 65 is less than a 5 minute walk from the songthiaw drop off to get to the accommodation, after the 10 minute taxi ride from Ban Phe pier. We booked 3 Superior Twin rooms for family but the rooms were definitely not 'superior'. The rooms lacked any finesse, with a broken lampshade, gaps under the doors for mozzies to get in, a broken light in the bathroom and a leaking sink pipe, dodgy fridge connection and dead batteries in the aircon remote. The room itself was clean and the service for room cleaning was good, but the surrounding area around the rooms was dilapidated, with broken down storage buildings, remnants of building works and rubbish bags and cleaning equipment on display in the walkways each day. There was a definite lack of attention to detail. It was backpacker style but not with a backpacker price tag. I booked the rooms on a balcony, with a view of the courtyard garden, but there was nowhere to sit outside the room, no chairs provided, just small tables. The location is very good, a minute or so walk away from the beach. The attached restaurant, 'Joe's', was very efficiently run and the service there was excellent (thank you to the waiting staff, who were very friendly and helpful). For 60 baht for the day, a deckchair could be rented with an umbrella right on the sea front, and the restaurant staff provided towels for the deckchairs when asked. If you plan on spending little time in your rooms, and you don't mind the outside appearance of the accommodation, then Sai Kaew 65 is a great place to base yourself for all that Sai Kaew and Koh Samed has to offer.
