Hotels With Gym in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

We stayed for the firework on NYE and this hotel delivered!! (Although I did go to the pier to enjoy it with the crowd). This hotel is located above Cross Gate which is a 3-4 level mall mainly of restaurants. I missed the info that they have a car park right under the building so I parked for an hour outside but that's fine. I wish it was multiple entries though. Car park is definitely challenging for bigger cars but manageable. Back to the hotel, it's typical Japanese size or even smaller if it's a two bed room. Breakfast was proper buffet style and I mean the room can fit maybe 30-40 tables if not more so you can imagine their offering is superb in both western and Japanese style. My only regret is I was too tired to walk and try each plate they offer!! Room is tiny but it can be excused by the view. Although I saw some constructions starting so the view might be blocked next time I come :( The only concern I had is that some lifts can connect to the mall bypassing the reception. So literally anyone could arrive to your door, which caught me by surprise a little.

Hotel is the Prince Pepe mall, so it is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a 7-11 in the lobby which is good. The rooms are a little small and the restroom is quite small too. There is no air-purifier at the room, which is a minus for me. Overall, I think it is okay for a short stay.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing! So many options to choose from, and everything was fresh.

I would have given a 5 star rating for service but got a very bad experience with this one staff call Yashiro (she wasn’t wearing a name tag but told us this name after we asked a few times for her name). We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, for 6 people. On the second evening when we return to the rooms, we found out that our room wasn’t cleaned. Later found out that we need to put the magnet tag outside of the door if we need cleaning. Which is fine and we were not complaining about this. But we needed new towels. We called the reception separately and got hanged up! The receptionist said a bunch of “maybe” English or mixed with Japanese, then hang up. I called again and explained we needed new towels, she said “no towels!” Then hang up. I called again, same answer, then hang up. We then go down to the lobby, this same girl looked annoyed and said NO TOWELS! Her level of service was just very bad and unacceptable! It was only until when we asked for her name, she acted she didn’t understand English. Then I spoke in Japanese asking for her name. Then her attitude changed. Gave us 3 towels. I said we needed 6 for 6 people. Then she said no again! I said it is ridiculous if the hotel only has 4 clean towels! And I will write my experience on my booking platform. Then she finally took us to our floor and said there are many towels there. To be fair, all other staff was very friendly, including the boy who checked us in and the girl called Monya who checked us out and helped us with delivering the luggages to our next hotel. I don’t need compensation from this hotel as I will not be returning to this hotel again because of this one bad staff but I surely hope management can give her better training on how to handle simple customer requests with a right attitude.

Excellent ! Amazing! We were a family of 5 and we really enjoyed the hospitality! Esp the manager ! Thank you so much! We miss Singapore food and we were glad to stay at this hotel. Extremely great location and it was 5 star indeed !!!

Was great staying in Yokohama. Staffs was very kind and the place was nice. Definitely want to stay again if i visit Yokohama again.

During my recent trip to Tokyo, I stayed three nights at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier, and it was fantastic! The sea view was breathtaking, and the attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that brought in stunning views—whether it was the ocean by day or the city lights at night, I could never get enough! The hotel’s amenities were a delight. I loved the rooftop pool and the indoor gym, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The Italian restaurant and bar offered delicious food, and I highly recommend the breakfast. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The modern design, inspired by Yokohama’s cruise culture, added a unique touch to my stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I felt I truly got my money's worth!

For me, the food is great, fit portions, while my partner thought the breakfast time was too early and affected the appetite for food. The location is great, it’s convenient. The environment is relaxing and quiet, the staffs are nice and good hospitality. We wish to visit again and stay longer as we both enjoy the hot spring days

Absolutely in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the Shin-yokohama station and shopping centre. 2-3 minutes walk to car rental company. Surrounded by convenient stores, cafes and restaurants. Very helpful front desk staff. Will come back to stay again.

Only 1400 yen for taxi from airport to hotel They have shuttle bus between airport and hotel Pretty good free hot bath on 2 nd floor Here is the time table They also have free shuttle to Kawasaki station for JR lines Will stay again

This is my first choice hotel when staying around the Shin Yokohama station. Hotel room is clean, the staff are very friendly. There is also a small lounge for drinking coffee and tea. Location is good, it is on top of the station and there are many stores in the building.

This is my fav hotel during japan trip. Location is great, just few mins walk from exit station yokohama, with escalator access available. Yokohama is big city with easy access to tokyo, I highly recommend people coming to tokyo to stay in yokohama due to many factors! I chose this room because the size is bigger compared to hotels in tokyo, which turn out to be great! The room has big windows, sofa, enough space to open big luggages. We really find this as huge benefit cz small room really limit your movement. The amenities are available to pick up at lobby area, really convenient. Room is clean, well maintained, modern. Staff are friendly and efficient! Excellent stay overall and I would definitely come back if I go japan again!

If you drive, this is the place to stay. Open air sauna for guests, amazing breakfast and dinner. In spring, the garden is in bloom, while in autumn, you can catch the autumn colours all around the area.

All I can say is I’m super love the hotel! Very convenient, near the hakone ropeway, near the pirate ship! There is also private and public Onsen. Super love their buffet dinner and buffet breakfast! Highly recommend people and my friends to go! Will revisit again :))

Ten-yu is amazing. We were impressed from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The kind staff allowed us an early check-in at 1 p.m. and arranged lounge services for our three-day, two-night stay. While the breakfast buffet was exceptional—an extensive spread paired with bubbles and wine—the Kaiseiki dinner was a bit disappointing in comparison. We were fortunate to experience a picturesque snowfall that transformed the hotel’s surroundings into a postcard-like scene, and since we drove, getting around was never an issue despite the snow. The staff were thoughtful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The room was very roomy. We got an upgarde unexpectedly and we were very thankful for that! The location is very good. The hot spring was also very nice. I enjoyed the outdoor hot spring the most. Would want to come back!

We drove to Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora by ourselves arriving rather late in the evening, but still we were warmly greeted by their staff, who followed us to the car park and helped us take our luggages. Check in was smooth and we were in our room in no time! We asked the staff if there was any restaurant nearby and they printed out pages of different selections around the area! Since it was getting late, we didn't bother to go out for dinner, so we gave the hotel's restaurant a try, which quality took us by surprise! Dinner was pretty close to a fine dining experience, with good quality food and fair price - highly recommend. Breakfast was at the same restaurant and buffet style! Yum! The room was clean and spacious, however, the onsen was semi open and we were a bit worried people outside may see us. There won't be people walking right outside, but still fairly close to the gas station/ convenience store across the street - may have to put in consideration on which room type you'd choose.

The self-check-in problem and transportation inconvenience that I had worried about after reading the reviews were completely non-existent. The reservation code, PIN code and QR code were sent twice by email. I filled in the information online in advance and checked in very smoothly (those who don't speak Japanese need to speak English well). Kowakudani subway station is on the opposite hillside. It takes 2 minutes to get there by small ladder 🪜 + mountain road. If you drag your luggage, it takes about 7 minutes to walk along an S-shaped road. The facilities are all first-line big brands, but unfortunately I didn't see any stars after playing with the telescope for two nights. The only small flaw is that the capsule coffee machine seems to have some problems. The washer and dryer is really easy to use, but there is a little noise (you can wait until you go out to play during the day to turn it on). This price I grabbed during the Spring Festival holiday is really cost-effective.

It was a perfect hotel stay for families visiting Hakone. The room was spacious for our family of three. Comfortable bed and well kept room amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinner food and drinks were delicious. We love our visit to the Hakone Kowakien Morinoyu which was included with our hotel stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the checkin procedure. We had to use a machine to checkin instead of going to the checkin counter and have front desk staff processing for us. It was a terrible experience because the machine failed at recognising our passport and it was terribly hard to enter everyone’s details on the touch screen. I should have to do this myself as a guest. Please get rid of the machine check in.

Great service provided by hotel okada , staffs was friendly and helpful , provided useful information of hotel hot springs bath facilities and restaurants for customer , transport service provided for traveling between hakone Yumoto train station and hotel for customer accessible to day tour around the region , highly recommended for a great holidays experience.

The room I was given was not very good, a little disappointing ~ maybe because I was staying alone. But the service was very good, the location was easy to find, I didn't bring too much luggage, it was quite convenient to take the bus. But the bus was really small! And many people were pushing suitcases, it was really inconvenient to get off the bus! I basically took a private bath at night! The beef for the dinner was too much ~ the price was reasonable! ! ! ! ! Very cost-effective
