We have always been a fan of NIKKO group of hotel. This is  a new hotel. Very modern looking hotel and great facility. Lovely club lounge with a good range of F&B. Great place to chill. I love the gym. all the gym equipment are made with wood. makes the gym a very special place. Service staff is also amazing. Would love to shout out to  F&B manager Mr Nay Win Q. Great hospitality from him. We 2  small issue with this hotel. Breakfast is great but even though the restaurant  is not even 50% full; we requested for a cup of coffee; the staff replied that it's a buffet and we needed to get our own coffee. Didn't like this experience for a 5 star hotel. Lastly, we had an extra bed in our room unfortunately everything in the room only comes in 2 sets. A reflection of poor room service communication. As a whole I would still recommend this hotel.

Excellent service from check in to check out by the wonderful staff at Chatrium Niseko. They were always there if we needed anything and helped organise transfers to and from the airport via taxi. We were a few minutes walk to the Ace family chairlift where we could then explore around snowboarding and using multiple gondolas and lifts from there. Lots of food trucks and convenience stores on the way back to the hotel which was super convenient. Arigato for a wonderful experience!

The hotel is conveniently located on the 4th floor of New Chitose Airport's international departures terminal. The hotel is very new overall and boasts stylish decor. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and had hotel guides available in multiple languages. After check-in, the bell staff helped with luggage and introduced the hotel facilities. Upon reaching the room, they even asked if I'd like them to knock on the door first, following Chinese custom, which I found very thoughtful. The hotel's fourth floor features a lounge, a gym, and an onsen (hot spring). The onsen is divided into male and female baths, each with separate key card access. Although the baths aren't large, the water quality is excellent, and the toiletries provided are comprehensive and smell wonderful. My room offered views of planes taking off and landing – an absolute delight for any aviation enthusiast. This time, I had my luggage sent directly from my previous hotel using a delivery service (Takkyubin) in advance, and it was already placed in my room when I checked in. Arriving at the airport in the afternoon, I could walk ten minutes to the domestic terminal for diverse shopping and dining options, with many souvenir shops open until 8 PM. On the international side, there's also a larger Don Quijote where you can buy cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, though its operating hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overall, it was a fantastic travel experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo!

Clean and accessible via shuttle bus (though infrequently) or via GO car. Staff were helpful and polite. There is a diner downstairs (Midtown Diner) which is convenient if it is snowing hard and you need to eat in for lunch/dinner. There are rooms to store ski equipment, and coin washing machines for easy laundry. There were also some nice Christmas decorations at the lobby.

The taxi from Noboribetsu Station to the hotel cost 2700 yen. Upon arrival, staff seamlessly guided us through check-in and helped with our luggage. The West Wing is a bit of a distance from the main building. You have to walk straight ahead to the left, take an escalator, and then walk a bit further to reach the elevator. It’s definitely quite old, with cracks on the walls and ceiling. Three floors in the West Wing were under renovation, but since we only stayed one night, it didn't bother us. From the window, you can see the steam rising from the hot springs in Hell Valley, which is also a short walk away. We didn't book dinner. The taxi driver told us that the main street was right in front of the hotel, and it takes about ten minutes to walk from one end to the other. There's a 7-Eleven, several drugstores, souvenir shops, and a few ramen and BBQ places. We tried the Natural Charcoal Grill restaurant; we arrived before 6 PM, wrote our name down, and were seated as soon as they opened. They had a Chinese menu. The Noboribetsu beef and milk ramen were decent, but the smoke inside the restaurant from the charcoal grill was quite heavy. I'd recommend eating there before you go for a hot spring bath. The outdoor hot spring pool was just okay. Because it was crowded, we had to queue up on the side to wait. The indoor pool was quite large and had a strong sulfur smell. After bathing on the top floor, there was no glass-bottled milk at the exit; it was all available in the shop on the first floor. They also had a lot of local Noboribetsu milk ice cream. You absolutely must try the red-packaged ice cream in the separate freezer – it has an incredibly rich milky flavor. Breakfast didn't offer a wide selection, but all the vegetables were very fresh, and the tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) was the best, with a subtle seasoning. They also provided paper cups so you could take coffee to go. I feel that staying one night with a hot spring bath in Hell Valley is sufficient, as there isn't much else to do around the area.

Went there for skiing. Before booking it, I was struggling between Sansui and Park Hyatt. And I’m really glad that we picked Sansui. The location is great, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the free shuttle service is simply top-notch in Niseko. Love the design of the hotel, even the scent in common area. Onsen is also great. The only thing we don’t particularly like was the breakfast. For its price level, the breakfast was too simple (plastic coffee machine).

The hotel is porfessional and all staff are friendly, greeting each time they see you - it does make a difference to the feel of the hotel to have friendly staff. I didnt understand the set-up at first, but now that Ive seen it I can help clarify - there are several hotels in the area that share a central location called Niseko Village and Pure activities - Hilton and another hotel open up directly onto these two areas within a 2 min walk. The Pure activities include the adventurous outdoor fun like the tree walk. There is also a shuttle bus that runs several times a day to some key locations and is great if you dont have a car. I also just want to thank Trip.com for helping me. I initially booked a different hotel but it did not go well and Trip.com reperesentatives (Lexi) really helped me and put me at ease when I was starting to worry that I wouldnt have a place to spend the night for our family.

The hotel has a nice environment, just two blocks away from Odori Park 11-chome and four blocks from Tanukikoji. The breakfast was the best; you could even make your own seafood donburi with various seafood options. The hot spring required a fee so I didn't go, but the bathroom wasn't small either.

The room comfortably accommodated three people, and its proximity to Nakajimakoen train station was a major plus. However, we were disappointed to learn upon check-in that air conditioning was unavailable outside of summer. The central system was set to heater, making the room quite stuffy for three guests over our four-night stay. Unlike other Sapporo hotels where we had the flexibility to adjust the in-room temperature, this lack of control was a significant drawback. We hope the hotel will consider offering greater air conditioning flexibility in the future, as this issue would otherwise deter us from returning.

MMaer83This is a brand new hotel, perfectly situated with Nakajima Park and the Toyohira River right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Both the facilities and service are fully up to Marriott's usual high standards, leaving no room for complaint. Our children particularly adored the sweet ********* lady at the front desk. My only minor gripe is the hotel lobby; it's quite small and feels crowded with just 3-5 groups of guests, which doesn't quite match the caliber of the hotel.

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

AAnonymous UserPark Hyatt Niseko is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious hotels in this premier winter ski destination. It's actually a sprawling resort complex, featuring both hotel rooms and residences, primarily designed for winter skiing. What's more, it offers direct ski-in/ski-out access to the ski lifts from the hotel's back door. During the summer months, most shops are closed, and about half of its affiliated restaurants operate on limited hours or are shut down. Guest numbers are significantly lower, and prices are considerably cheaper. It seems they primarily operate during this season just to maintain normal hotel functions. The hotel boasts several upscale restaurants, including a French restaurant overseen by a three-Michelin-starred chef, a top-tier Cantonese restaurant, Teppanyaki, Robatayaki, and a sushi establishment. Outside of the winter season, only the lobby bar operates normally; the opening hours for other venues require prior confirmation. The hotel's overall design exudes an air of extreme luxury and grandeur. The rooms are equally opulent and high-end, with simple yet practical lighting. It's impeccably clean and comfortable, and all toiletries are top-of-the-line. The Wi-Fi speed can be inconsistent at times, and I expect it to be even slower during the busy winter season.

AAI-KimiThis is *the* must-stay hotel in Shiretoko, hands down. I discovered it through a COCOGO Travel video on Bilibili, and its serene, tranquil, and natural vibe instantly captivated me, making me determined to visit. Shiretoko in summer is all about forests, hot springs, lakes, wild brown bears, and Ainu culture. Here, everything lives in elegant harmony with nature, allowing you to experience its magnificent landscapes firsthand. The hotel's decor beautifully reflects the local culture. They offer complimentary ice cream and an open bar with free-flowing drinks. Both breakfast and dinner feature carefully selected local ingredients; while portions aren't huge, they are incredibly refined and exquisite. From the hotel's onsen and authentic Finnish Löyly sauna, you can gaze out over the Shiretoko mountains and the Sea of Okhotsk. The breathtaking views are sure to lift your spirits and leave you feeling refreshed.

MM236470****The facilities are quite old, and for the price, there's no lake view, just a street view that's not aesthetically pleasing at all. There are no facilities for families with children. The first floor is full of shops, which feels very commercialized. Most importantly, there are too many rules, and the staff are inflexible. Check-in time is rigid, they start clearing up before the mealtime is even over, and you have to move your car out of the parking lot by 11:30 AM after check-out. It doesn't feel like they're willing to make any concessions for guests.

Cchen0312The rooms were very clean, the hotel felt new, and the service was excellent, though it was quite pricey. Each bed came with both a soft and a firm pillow, which was a nice touch. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 children, and booked two standard rooms. The Ctrip booking process was a bit confusing; it seemed to charge for 3 adults for what appeared to be a 2-adult-1-child setup. At check-in, the front desk confirmed our booking for three adults, but helpfully clarified that children under 5 dine for free. We were also assigned a triple room, which was a nice bonus, although I'm not sure if it was related to the initial pricing discrepancy or a standard hotel amenity. For those unsure about breakfast, a tip would be to book your stay without it and then pay for it directly at the hotel. The hotel's public bath (onsen) and gym were both quite small. Breakfast quality was decent. During our two-day stay, we found the pastries to be quite exquisite. There was a live cooking station offering asparagus and cheese, as well as a delicate, made-to-order scallop dish. While beautifully presented, the scallop dish didn't particularly stand out in terms of flavor. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the JR station. Directly opposite the hotel is an Izakaya called 'Saki no Kura' which is very traditional, welcoming, and delicious, serving sashimi, grilled dishes, and a variety of seasonal specialties – definitely better than the options found in shopping malls. Hokkaido University is also just across the road, which was perfect for letting the kids run around. Overall, aside from the price, everything else was fantastic.
