Comfort Inn Fukui

The location is good if the price is cheap and you go by car. There are several restaurants, supermarkets and bakery within walking distance, so you don't have to eat. Breakfast buffet is also quite delicious. Maybe you should make a reservation directly from the titanium in page a while ago.
Hotel Hanatsubaki

Never felt more welcome and cared for during my trip than in this hotel. Everybody from front to restaurant was kind, helpfull and forgiving of mistakes. The room is so beautifull, the smell of the tatami is so good. The things in the room are clearly chosen and cared for with love. And the view, well you will never get tired of looking out over the coastline with the boats going in and out and people fishing from the pier. The diner was a perfect display of culinary skill and in line with the season. It was a feast for the eye as well as the mouth. Breakfast was perfect as well. Same as above. The common bath was also just right, if you are early enough you can look at the sea while enjoing it. Thank you everybody, it could not have been better.
Hotel Fujita Fukui

A cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!
Toyoko Inn Fukui Ekimae

It was my first stay in Fukui. Convenient near the station, reasonable price, and comfortable space with different layouts from other hotels. However, the toilet in the bathroom was small, and somehow it was unnatural inclination in the toilet seat and it felt unsettled. It is no problem that the minimum amenities are required, but I thought that it was not less than one bath towel and one hand towel. And it was a breakfast setting, but I thought that it was not necessary to be that content (including the amount) even after the corona disturbance. You will be pleased to discount 100 yen or 200 yen. I made a reservation because the price setting was cheap, but I don't think I will make a reservation if it is a normal price. It became a good study.
Dormy Inn Premium Fukui Natural Hot Spring

Located in a downtown area about a 10-minute walk from Fukui Station, there are many one-way streets and crowded streets, and the road to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel is a bit difficult. Check-in is manned and payment is machine style. Have free coffee in the front lobby and go to your room. The room is a general Dormy Inn Standard, with a certain size and no feeling of oppression. There are about 30 lockers for the 9th floor large communal bath, 10 washrooms in the bathroom, an indoor bath and a sauna bath for about 7 people, and an open-air bath and a cherry blossom bath for about 4 people outside. Sakuragi along the Asuwa River seen from the bathroom window was in full bloom. Free ice cream and unreasonable lactic acid beverages are placed at the bathhouse by time of day. Breakfast was on the 1st floor, with Japanese and Western buffets, Echizen soba noodles, and local dishes such as Atsuage and Sesame Tofu from Eiheiji Temple. I was able to spend comfortably with stable Dormy Inn Standard, room, bath and breakfast.
Hotel Riverge Akebono

This is a hotel mainly frequented by Japanese guests, but staff spoke English and were friendly. It helped that we had a person in our party who spoke Japanese. The room (twin) is long but narrow, so it takes some time before suitcases are in the right spot. The room is clean, internet fast and no outside noise. Like many Japanese hotels there is very little cupboard space: room to hang some clothes but no shelves. The public bath is divided in two parts: men and women. The two baths are of different sizes, so the men's and women's bath are swapped daily. Breakfast is excellent: freshly made dishes of a high quality and a great variety. One of the best we had in all our hotel stays: you do need to like Japanese food. Parking space is limited, but usually there is a parking spot available. We would certainly stay here again.
Fukui Manten Hotel Ekimae

Just 1 min walk from Fukui station. Bus and taxi stops just at a corner. You can drop the baggage and go meeting directly. Many shops and mall around. It’s very convenience for a business guy. The room size is good and comfortable. The working desk is good enough for more laptop. The bed is good. (Just got bad experience in Ginza). Room is clean. All amenities provided. Hotel has hot spring for the guest use. Free ramen at night 21:30-22:30. Breakfast is also good in a set (western or Japanese). I like this hotel very much. Must select this hotel in my next Fukui trip.
Hotel Econo Fukui Station
4.3/560 Reviews
The location is very convenient from Fukui Station. I moved by limousine bus between Komatsu Airport and Fukui Station, but there is a roof from the bus stop to the hotel, and you can reach it without getting wet even in rain. Although the building itself is old, the room did not feel old enough and was able to stay without any inconvenience. I was personally happy to see YouTube on TV. The exact price is unknown because it was a reservation with a set with a ticket, but it was able to finish it quite cheaply.
Courtyard Fukui

I had a fantastic week-long stay at Courtyard Fukui. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The hotel has a pleasant, light scent, similar to a softly fragranced candle, and its location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from Fukui Station with plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The hotel bar is wonderful, with talented bartenders. I especially loved Toshihiro and Mikki, and their cranberry juice with fresh cranberries and mint quickly became a favorite. Now, let’s talk about the room accommodations, which I noticed no one has mentioned in the reviews. I stayed in a king-sized room, and when I first walked in, I was blown away by the stunning view of Fukui. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a shower with a lookout point for those who appreciate a view while showering. The amenities were top-notch: hand soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair combs, Q-tips, bamboo towels, and even toothbrushes with toothpaste. The room also provided comfortable slippers and pajamas, a steam iron, and plenty of water, tea, and coffee. The first floor of the hotel houses a grocery store and over 12 restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for meals. Overall, this has been my best hotel experience, not only in Japan but anywhere. If I ever visit Fukui again, I would only stay here. In fact, this stay made me want to move to Fukui! Across the street, I found a vegan restaurant and took a soba-making class, both of which made my trip even more memorable.
Centurion Hotel Villa Suite Fukui Ekimae

We were on a 15day holiday in Japan and stayed 1 night here while in Fukui. Glad we chose this hotel. We drove 2 cars. Hotel parking cost 500Yen overnight. It is very near the train station and we could find restaurants for dinner. It was a good stopover in Fukui. The rooms seems to be half renovated. While the bathroom and vanity top seems really outdated, the beds and carpet were new. The 2 queensized bed was so comfortable and very spacious for our family. The hotel has no kitchen and does not have a breakfast option. There was a arcade section with claw machines that could keep the kids entertained. This seems to be a family oriented hotel. We would like to thank the frontdesk Manager for helping to send a luggage that we left behind to Nagoya for us. We could not find a email to your website. Thank you for all your help, please note that we have paid TaQbin in full as well. Hope the hotel will read this. Overall, would recommend this hotel for family.
