The receptionist was very helpful with my luggage where to find things in the hotel, Park and ride and bus facilities nearby, On my way out I was helped with my case, The breakfast was much better than I expected I enjoyed using the swimming pool having been driving most of the day I would definitely use this hotel again

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

Out of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip, the DoubleTree by Hilton was definitely our favorite, followed by Hampton and Holiday Inn. Sticking with chain hotels really does save you from bad experiences. This particular DoubleTree is located in the Cotswolds, making it super convenient for visiting the nearby towns. Before checking in, we popped over to Bibury. As the sun set and the tourists left, the town was absolutely serene and beautiful! We had planned to wake up early the next day to experience the peaceful beauty of Bourton-on-the-Water before the crowds arrived, but the youngsters just couldn't get out of bed, so that plan fell through. There's a local supermarket right next to the hotel, which has a great selection and good prices – perfect for stocking up on snacks if you're driving. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome cookies were a lovely treat. The environment is beautiful, and I'd definitely recommend it. If you're driving to the Cotswolds, staying here is an excellent choice!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for my 60th birthday. With my daughter. The views are breathtaking and the hotel its self . Great location the staff are very welcoming and courteous. There is lots of parking , unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the spa facilities. Our only negative thing was our room although lovely the carpet had a few stains on it and our windows did not open easily , and the entrance hall to our room was very dirty we had been given a room in the grounds outside of the hotel and for the cost of our stay we were very disappointed after seeing such elegance,with the main Hotel and the lobby etc . We had also been given a room with a bathroom that was more suited to someone who needed more support and although there was nothing wrong with that , it would of been nice to have had a choice of a bath as well and we felt someone else might have benefited more with this set up on their stay.

Perfect stay! Staff were lovely, food was good and thanks to Leann & Tyler for going above & beyond and making our trip all the more memorable! Food was enjoyable and fresh. The spa and massage were lovely, and the jacuzzi was powerful and warm. Dinner was excellent, and the wait for it was worth it. Definitely reccomend the lamb dish! The breakfast was generous and we enjoyed all of it apart from the mushrooms as they were a bit plain. The superior king bed we booked was slightly uncomfortable due to it being two twins pushed together, but the room was very spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. We would stay again, thanks for having us!

We are a family of four and booked 2 junior suites and requested both on booking and during email correspondence prior to our arrival for double bed and twin bed configurations. On our arrival we were allocated rooms at opposite ends of the hotel, on different floors and with 2 double beds. Housekeeping had apparently gone home for the night despite arriving before 6pm and so this could not be corrected. The hotel had a beautiful open fireplace in the main bar which for some reason on a cold night in December wasn’t alight. We ate dinner in the hotel brasserie where a significant number of dishes on the menu were unavailable with no explanation from the staff when asked. At breakfast the following morning we were unable to order coffee as apparently this service is not available on weekends. Overall, despite a great location, this was a very disappointing stay.

We were disappointed on arrival to find that we had been allocated a standard room, instead of the Opulent one we had booked through trip. The receptionist was very nice but wasn’t able to give us the room we booked as there wasn’t one available. She gave us a slightly better room which was ok but looked like it was ready for a refresh. We needed to call reception as there wasn’t no hair dryer in the room but there was no instructions for using the phone, when we worked it out there was then no answer! We then needed reception again later as our neighbours were playing really really loud music, again no answer. Besides this, the hotel was very nice, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, the pool was nice and the breakfast was good. We would stay there again but book direct.

We booked De Vere Cotswolds Water Park as we wanted to celebrate my birthday with some of our best friends. The location was ideal, the atmosphere was very friendly, the bedrooms were amazing and the onsite facilities (including restaurants, cafes, shops and leisure) were absolutely perfect for what we needed. The customer service shown by the staff throughout our stay was truly superb. Special mentions to Olivia and Ruby. Olivia was so friendly and helpful when checking us in on arrival, then kindly upgraded my wife and I to a wonderful room with its own decking area. Ruby in the main restaurant area was brilliant. So very friendly, welcoming and efficient, plus the food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

The hotel was clean however the decorations are dated. I have some noise issues in my room, a constant deep humbling sound from midnight. I am not sure what that is, it sounded like behind the wall, above the ceiling. It was very bad and lasted a whole night and I could not sleep at all. The sound made me feel sick , very unwell and hard to describe. I found it hard to breathe at one point. After almost three hours of noise disruption , I could no longer bear it anymore and contacted the help desk. To be fair, the staff were helpful and offered me an alternative room opposite my original room. Although the sound was less noisy in the new room but didn't go away. I am very disappointed with this experience and don't want to go back anymore.

I stayed here with my family on Saturday night, as it was a nice close location to a car show we attended at Prescott (just 18 minute drive away). My whole family were thrilled with the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is really cosy, clean and stylish - it had absolutely everything we needed. Our rooms were comfortable, the air con was superb and we had all the toiletries we could have needed. The location is fantastic - we absolutely loved having all the restaurants just across the road and shops so nearby. It really is a wonderful area. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! We could not have wanted for more. We will definitely go back when next visiting Cheltenham and can highly recommend.
