Excellent Location for Tianmenshan Explorers! This hotel is all about the location. It is situated right across the street from the cable car station—literally a 3-5 minute walk—which makes catching those early morning lines incredibly easy. While the property is a bit basic and dated compared to newer city hotels, it is quite good for a smaller town. The service is excellent; the staff is attentive and helpful, ensuring a smooth stay. If you are looking for a convenient, reliable base for your Zhangjiajie adventure, this is a great choice for the area!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience special. What stood out the most was how they went above and beyond our expectations—whether it was accommodating our needs, offering thoughtful recommendations, or simply ensuring we were comfortable at all times. Their hospitality made a real difference and added a personal touch that you don’t often find. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, memorable stay. We would gladly return in the future.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location for access to the nature park and a delicious breakfast every morning (the homemade noodle dish was our favourite). The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Would definitely recommend to others.

This hotel offers a perfect room for a family of three. The hygiene is excellent, and they provide disposable towels. The breakfast is also very delicate and thoughtfully prepared. The location is fantastic, right next to the Maglev station. When we checked out, the owner even drove us to the high-speed rail station, which was incredibly convenient. From the window, you can enjoy a quiet night view, as it's far from the noisy bar street. It's very peaceful. There are a few great restaurants if you walk towards the ancient town, though getting in and out of the ancient town itself is a bit of a walk.

I have no words. Truly the best stay ever. I loved the breakfast, the view, the rooms, the pick up service was a great help and they even wanted to drive us around in case we needed pick up after we were done with exploring. They also offer help with getting the tickets for the city and the tea and snacks gift was most welcomed. I cannot wait to be back here.

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

The hotel is very near the ancient scenic area and has the modern amenities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us with the luggage and even upgraded our room when we said we prefer 2 beds. Breakfast was delicious and the 2 elderly couple were very warm and accommodating. They make sure you are full and try to make conversations deapite the language barrier. Overall, this hotel is a 5 star for cleanliness and the staff. We highly recommend this to those who are on a budget but wants superb service.

Hotel location is very good, travel is very convenient, eating and shopping around is also convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the toiletries were complete, the hot water was large, and the air conditioning effect was good. The overall environment is quiet and not noisy, and it is very safe to live. The front desk service was warm and polite, the service attitude was particularly good, and there was a problem and could be responded in time. Good value for money, the overall experience is satisfactory, I will choose this next time, I can also help book tickets, cheaper than my own booking, it is recommended!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's overall hygiene was exceptional; the room was spotless, tidy, and odor-free. The bedding was soft and dry, and the bathroom facilities were brand new and well-maintained, cleaned to perfection. The toiletries were comprehensive and effective. The common areas were also kept immaculate, showing great attention to detail. In my free time, I tried some authentic Changsha delicacies: the crispy yet tender stinky tofu that burst with flavor, the spicy and satisfying crayfish, the soft and sweet sugar oil粑粑 (sticky rice cakes), and the fresh and flavorful chopped chili fish head. Each dish was genuinely authentic. Paired with a refreshing and palate-cleansing Cha Yan Yue Se (tea drink), I truly immersed myself in the vibrant culinary scene of 'Star City'. It was a comfortable stay and a delightful dining experience. Choosing this hotel for my Changsha trip was definitely worth it.

This hotel, nestled by Baofeng Lake, boasts beautiful scenery and a tranquil environment. The overall decor is very upscale. The ladies at the front desk are all so sweet and provide excellent service. What's more, the owner personally drives guests for pick-up and drop-off, which was an unexpectedly wonderful touch! I was truly touched. The room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were excellent and new (though I forgot to take pictures, only capturing moments of us eating in the room 🥲). Our family of three had a very comfortable stay. The location is also incredibly convenient, with food delivery arriving quickly. It's also close to the scenic area. Breakfast was very plentiful, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, which was great since most of the guests seemed to be foreigners. All in all, it's a fantastic hotel. I'd definitely want to stay here again and will recommend it to friends. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful travel experience. Grateful ☺️❤️
