If you're looking for convenience for an early flight departure, I think this hotel is great. The shuttle bus runs quite frequently, every 15 minutes, which is very convenient. However, I found the front desk staff to be a bit careless; they didn't remind us that if we checked out too early to have breakfast, we needed to request a takeaway meal at check-in. Also, the bathroom is small and not very convenient. But for a transit stay, it's still worth recommending.

The room isn't very big, especially the bed, which is quite short. The only difference between a king-size and twin beds is whether the two bases are pushed together or separated to form a 'king.' If you stretch out, your feet will hang off the end, so I'd guess the bed is only about 1.7 meters long. Also, the air conditioning is quite noisy; the central AC fan makes a fair bit of noise at night. The hotel's location is decent though, only a 5-10 minute walk from the subway exit.

My child had an entrance exam in Hong Kong, and after a long search, I picked this hotel and was very satisfied. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and spoke excellent English. They even extended our checkout time to 1 PM. The next day, we were a little late getting back from the exam, and they extended it again to 1:30 PM. It's so convenient – you can walk directly to Langham Place from level L via a footbridge, which has all sorts of food options. Mong Kok MTR station, Exit C, is right downstairs. Seriously, it's super convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation. The value for money is excellent. The room also had a little booklet with recommendations for food, accommodation, and transportation, which was a nice touch. I'm very satisfied. Thank you! 🙏🌷🌷🌷

Facilities: The facilities are very new. The room comes with an adapter and a mini-fridge, which was great to come back to after a day out. There's also a gym in the building.
Service: The service was excellent; they proactively recommended nearby attractions.
Environment: It's very close to the MTR station, right out of the Sham Shui Po B2 exit, a straight walk to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you can use the elevator at exit B, which is very convenient. The top floor has a terrace, and the hotel is quite tall, higher than surrounding buildings, so the view is good.

The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The facilities were complete, the environment was quiet, and the service was excellent. The price was affordable and the transportation was convenient. It's especially suitable for business travel.

Everything was satisfactory, from the facilities to the service, right up until checkout. However, the two staff members at the front desk (a man and a woman, both a bit on the heavier side) were quite unfriendly. When I went to store my luggage to grab breakfast and then tried to borrow an umbrella, they demanded a 200 HKD deposit. The card clearly stated a 150 HKD deposit, but when I questioned the front desk, they simply didn't respond.

Luckily, the front desk upgraded us to a premium room. The room was spacious and clean, and they thoughtfully provided charging cables by the bed. The large, round bathtub was a pleasant surprise! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, with convenience stores and a supermarket nearby, making shopping very convenient.

The front desk staff were really nice during check-in. I requested a high floor and got a room on the 27th, though it was a bit of a shame the view was just of the city. The hotel itself is great, with nice surroundings and good views, and it's super convenient – close to the subway and a 7-Eleven for drinks. They don't provide disposable toiletries or water, but slippers are included. Once, I called housekeeping for a band-aid, and it took forever to arrive – I had to call three times to follow up. Not sure if the hotel was busy or what, but it did mess up my plans a little. Overall though, it was still a good stay.

This time, I didn't plan ahead. My return trip was suddenly delayed, and I needed to switch hotels last minute, so I just booked one nearby. I was genuinely amazed by this place! For around 1100, the room was incredibly spacious, completely unlike the 'every inch of land is precious' small rooms I always hear about. It had two bathrooms, a huge bed, two TVs, and a large bathtub with a separate shower. The amenities were also super comprehensive, including a universal adapter and complimentary bottled water in the room. I truly recommend room 1042! They also have all the disposable items for children, which you can ask for at the front desk. Highly recommended! It's also quite close to the MTR station. Just across the road is Kowloon Park, which is definitely worth a visit. Miramar Place is diagonally opposite, as well as Muji, and there's a Don Quijote import supermarket downstairs. Highly, highly recommend!

Facilities: Similar to economy hotels on the mainland, no signs of aging. It's quite small due to limited space, but in Hong Kong, it offers great value for money. Overall, I still recommend it. I forgot to take photos of the interior, but it looks pretty much like the pictures on the platform.
Location: It's a bit of a walk from Tin Hau Station Exit A, but not too far. There are 7-Eleven and Mannings convenience stores along the way.
Service: Very good. They helped me check in, and even guided me to the correct lobby when I went to the wrong one. Luggage storage is very organized, so no worries about losing anything.
Cleanliness: Standard.
Hotel Restaurant Afternoon Tea: Hong Kong-style snacks.

DDr. Ong SoetantoI stayed at Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
The hotel was quite difficult to find upon arrival, especially for first-time visitors. While the location itself is convenient, the overall welcome was not very warm. The reception staff appeared rather indifferent and rarely smiled, which made the check-in experience feel less friendly than I would have hoped.
The breakfast was very basic, with limited variety and nothing particularly memorable. Considering the abundance of excellent local cafés and restaurants nearby, I would recommend having breakfast outside the hotel instead, as it offers much better value and a more enjoyable dining experience.
Although the room was acceptable and the location is a positive point, I never really felt comfortable or at home during my stay. Hong Kong offers many accommodation options, and based on my experience, I believe there are better alternatives available in a similar price range.
Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again on my next visit.
IItaly GuestPoints to improve:
* There was no briefing during check-in about the hotel amenities. We had to discover everything on our own, which should be the minimum standard for a hotel.
* There is a kitchen on each floor (which we only learned later by reading reviews), as well as another kitchen downstairs. We used the kitchen to prepare food, and while eating we were approached by staff asking whether we had used utensils from the kitchen. After confirming that we had, we were told we could not use them because they belonged to other people. I then asked how guests are expected to cook, and was told we should buy our own pans and utensils. This was very surprising and impractical for travelers. We continued using the kitchen on our floor. Feedback to the hotel: either provide proper shared kitchen equipment for guests or clearly do not advertise these spaces as usable kitchens.
* The Wi-Fi in our room was not strong enough for work.
* The room is quite small, but this is understandable given the price in Hong Kong.
* The location is far from the city center, although it is conveniently close to public transportation.
* Staff could be better trained and more welcoming. This is hospitality guys, not a factory!
* Large tour groups often arrive at the same time, making the reception area very noisy and chaotic. This made it difficult to work or take calls in the lobby.
* Internet speed was around 30 Mbps, which was not sufficient for stable remote work.
Good things:
* The hotel is very clean.
* There are several facilities available, including a small yoga space, small gym, laundry machines (paid), video games, movie nights, and a nice coworking area in front of the reception.
* There is also a workspace downstairs, which we only discovered on our last day — this could be better communicated to guests.
* The price is fair for what is offered in Hong Kong.
KKHTanHad a short stay at The Wharney Hotel. We booked a family room and were quite pleased with the cleanliness, and the shower had strong water pressure.
The room size was average, and the bed was soft and comfortable.
Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room fridge is a nice gesture.
Check-in staff were friendly and even provided us with complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch.
The location is excellent, with plenty of eateries 9and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Value for money.
BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the air conditioning was comfortable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was good for the price. The staff were friendly, and there's a shopping mall nearby. However, the front desk is on the second floor, and after 12 AM, the main entrance is closed, so you have to go through the front to get to the second floor.
LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC.
The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.
SSammy 469891I stayed at the Rambler Oasis Hotel at 1 Tsing Yi Road for work. The hotel is next to Rambler Crest in Tsing Yi. It's quite convenient to get to: from Kwai Fong MTR Station Exit A, you can take the 88G green minibus directly to Rambler Crest, and then it's about a 3-minute walk to the hotel.
Next to the hotel are the Rambler Garden Hotel and the HKIA Flight Transit Centre. The hotel faces Container Terminal 9 in Tsing Yi and the Rambler Channel, offering pleasant views.
The reception is on the ground floor (L5) lobby. Check-in was straightforward, and since no deposit was required, both check-in and check-out were very convenient! I was assigned a room on the 30th floor, the highest floor, and the room offered an expansive, refreshing view.
While the room wasn't huge, the basic amenities were complete. The TV only showed local basic channels, with no cable or satellite TV available. However, given the reasonable price, it offers great value for money!
GGuest UserI always stay at this hotel. I'm very satisfied. Although the rooms aren't huge, they are clean and hygienic. It's right opposite Harbour City, which you can see from the window, so shopping is super convenient. You can drop off your purchases at the hotel and go right back out. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.
GGuest UserBooked this place as a treat during our stay in Hong Kong and wow. It was even better than I was anticipating. Big apartment and very clean. Had everything we needed. Thank you! Loads of local recommended spots close by. Foodie heaven!! Would deffo come back. Staff was extremely lovely also. Got to store our bags there for free.
AAnonymous UserI stayed for four nights. The hotel is located near Mong Kok East Station, but it's not too far to walk to Prince Edward Station or Mong Kok Station, making it super convenient to get to other places! (There's even a skybridge with escalators directly to Mong Kok Station, so no worries about rain or lugging luggage!)
The room was quite spacious, but perhaps because the plumbing is a bit old? You have to close the shower and toilet doors, otherwise, a sewer smell drifts into the room. Aside from the smell, the overall experience was good!
