The location is very good, looking west to see the most beautiful sunset and sunset in Darwin, the facilities are complete, **, Italian, Chinese, swimming pool..., the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, facing the lagoon pool, the indoor area is big enough.
The disadvantage is that the door from the room into the bathroom is too thick, every time the in and out will automatically close, trouble and close the door momentarily loud.
When the checkout, I knew that the mineral water in the minibar was charged, but housekeeping and the waiter who checked the minibar entered the room and said it was free. As a result, four bottles were charged 24 Australian dollars when the checkout was done. I was too lazy to talk to the front desk about the theory. I felt that I was also seeing people. The nice guy takes the money.
It is best not to include breakfast in the reservation, because there are several fixed meals (see photo) with breakfast. The drink can be selected for black coffee and English black tea. Never pay attention to the cup that drinks water. Once the cup is not cleaned at all, there are other people eating the residue. Most of the restaurant waiters are Buddhist, busy but lost, the whole wheat bread, the white bread, promised to change after no later, I can think of my own bad luck and leave, this is the best hotel in Darwin. 4-5 thousand RMB per night, but compared with the same price hotels in China, the service is still much checked, and the hotel facilities are a little old.
I had a great stay at Capitanos! The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the beautiful beaches and close to major supermarkets like Coles, which made picking up essentials really easy. There were also several good bars and restaurants nearby, offering plenty of dining options without having to go far.
The highlight, though, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was answering questions, giving local tips, or just creating a welcoming atmosphere, their service really stood out.
Overall, Capitanos offered a comfortable and well-located base for exploring the area. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!
Everything was great except that there was no quilt in the room and the blanket in the cupboard was more like a sheet so my partner and I didnt sleep well as so cold with the aircon on. Otherwise the room was lovely and very happy.
I stayed 5 nights, I didn’t like the room in 4th floor at the start (as I requested a higher floor room and quiet room, but I got a room next to the elevator) the TV wasn’t facing the bed. I then changed to another room in 8th floor, room was great but the shower room door couldn’t be closed so the water was everywhere and it wouldn’t dry; also cleaner told me cuz it was public holiday they are not able to change my sheets.
The last night I stayed, fire alarm went off at 4am everyone went to the lobby, it was a false alarm but I got very scared.
My last minute trip to darwin turned to be the best trip with great deal of Air ticket and Accommodation booked with Trip.com
H on Mitchell Apartment Hotel is Good Location walking Distance , Room equipped with Microwave Oven, Refrigerator , Dish washer machine, Stove , Room is clean, as well as Safe to stay.
Great location. Basic rooms with comfortable bed. Limited options for breakfast - we eventually found out about the “pool view” cafe in the Novotel (the pool is dry) which had better breakfast options for us as we had small children who only wanted toast and not the buffet breakfast at the Mercure. (We were told it would be $15 for children over 5 (our grandchild is 6) but then other people said they were told it was free.!? Had some trouble with parking - paying guests should be assigned at least 1 car park per room - however this wasn’t the case and we had to park in the “overflow” area across the road and carry our luggage over. Definitely need a car or vehicle to go anywhere. Great new pool but don’t stand on the fake turf on a hot day as it burns your feet! Don’t forget to ask for “Territorian rates” if you are a local - show your drivers licence and get a discount.
The Argus hotel was a great place to stay. Breakfast was alright would of been nice if there was an egg station. The location is on a quieter back road
The service is very good, you can order food at any time, especially good.
But the interior of the room is old and does not belong to the configuration of Hilton. And mineral water is not provided, you have to buy it yourself.
Prime central location. Felt very safe staying within secure amenities. Very comfy bed and abundant dreamy pillows. Like that there is shampoo, conditioner and bodywash supplied. Self check-in and checkout very easy to navigate😘 Staff friendly and welcoming🤗 love love love that the jug fits under the faucet😊
We had a king water view which was lovely. The bed very comfortable but bathroom very small compared to other Hiltons we have stayed at. It was not cheap at $389!a night but it did include breakfast. We never include breakfast as we are not big breakfast people and those $30-$40 per person buffets are not worth it for us. Since it was included we had some but disappointed to find that a barrister coffee was extra and $7 for a small cup. This was the only option for non dairy coffees. That said the reception staff were very friendly and efficient. No water in room not even a jug to cool some tsp water. Nice big flat screen tv and whilst there were no streaming services on it there were some free movies. No usb points in the room and only one comfortable chair.

VVana LobatoUpon first check in, the receptionist confirmed that we paid through Trip.com but after taking the bond payment he then straight away told us he hasn’t received any payment and asked us to show our proof of payments such as trip.com confirmation, bank transfer, & even statement of bank deduction. We showed confirmation, bank transfer, statements as he asked and then the receptionist refused and insisted we haven’t paid. He refused all the proofs and insisted us to make another payment with them. He refused us to talk to the supervisor because he said “they will say the same thing”. Unfortunately, we didn’t get his name, so we couldn’t specify who he was. Terrible services.
GGuest UserThe front door of the hotel is across the road from the sea, and there is a large supermarket across two intersections at the back door, which is convenient for shopping. When I checked in, I met a pretty girl at the front desk who was very enthusiastic. Thank her for her praise for China.
I have stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in many cities. After all, it is under the Hilton brand. It is not bad in all aspects and is worth choosing.

孙孙Very nice hotel with airy walkways and large rooms. The location is very good, right in the city center, 5 minutes walk from Woolworth, 10 minutes walk from the waterfront, I will choose this next time. There is a restaurant on the first floor.
