This hotel was average at best. I stayed there for four days and not once did room service come to clean my room. I had garbage from my day of shopping and had to go down to reception to ask for fresh towels. The staff were civil but not friendly. The breakfast was the same every day without much choices. On the pro side It was close to the parks and there was a free shuttle to take you there. There was a small refrigerator in the room but you had to go down to the dining room to hot your meals. The pool was nice and big but that was about it. I will give this hotel a 2 out of 5.
Stayed at this hotel in Miami for three nights and was very satisfied. Hotel location is good, clean and quiet. Breakfast is half rich, coffee and hot water are available throughout the day. Staff is very friendly
Outdated facilities, especially the cold and hot water pressure is very small, the amount of water is large, uncomfortable! Breakfast is good. The location is excellent. The room is quiet.
This hotel is the oldest hotel to stay in the United States. It has a rich breakfast and a good location. It has a pool and gym. The environment is very good. Especially in the breakfast lobby, a beautiful view. The picture below has a sun. There are 7-11 convenience stores around to buy things or it is convenient. The accommodation is clean and the terrace view is good. It is very convenient to go to Universal Studios and Disneyland, and it takes 15 to 20 minutes by taxi. Disadvantages: The waiters are not locals, mostly in Mexico. Among them, a Mexican woman with short shoulders and a short hair service has a super bad attitude.
The service is not so great, very thin walls, anything was said next door you could hear it. Since pets are allowed here the carpet is dirty, and they need to br updated. Tbe beds are bad, stayed 2 night, not able to sleep well at all. I don't recommend this hotel if you need to rest, and have a pleasant stay.

Double tree is an amazing place to stay. The front desk guys were amazing. Very close to the beach and other key areas and the room service was awesome as well.
The afternoon beach side dj was so good and the food too.
I forgot an item and they were able to reach out and help secure it. That was good too

If this were 1995 the hotel would be the best in Miami. But it’s a little outdated now. Some of the light switches were wobbly and needed to be change.
The noise was horrible- next to the main freeway. Loud horns during Art Basel right up until 1am.
I wouldn’t stay here if you want to be at art Basel. It’s too far away and too noisey.
Very nice hotel with very welcoming staff.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
The bathroom is very functional.
The breakfast is generous and tailored to your needs.
I recommend this place.
We always enjoy our stays at embassy. Great breakfast, pool and courtyard. Nice to hangout and play games in courtyard. Alcohol reception too!
Clean and had a nice restaurant too.

If you wanna skip the long queues and head an hour earlier into the theme park - please booked disney related hotels. This cuts time waiting. Done the tron and dwarf ride within 1hr30 mins. This is when the crowd is starting to trickle in

Vvitas shiVery good hotel. Love the smell in the room and lobby. Expensive breakfast and beautiful beach. Overall good experience. Oh yes! Extremely confortable bed that I have ever slept.
Ttracey grangerWe were a family of 5: 2 adults 3 teens booked for 2 nights. We got to the hotel late, 10:30 pm, the check in line was long so check in was around 11. We booked and received a suite, 3 queen bed, 1 bathroom, pool view. The room was cute and generally clean with the exception of some liquid splatters on the walls here and there. A key had been provided for each person in our group for the free hour entry into the parks however we learned that you also have to use the card key to turn on the lights in the room. There either wasn’t a fan in the bathroom or it wasn’t working and though there were plenty of towels there were only 4 washcloths (original booking was for 6 individuals). We parked our rental in the parking garage and though it wasn’t terrible, it is a bit of a walk to the elevators. If you don’t want to go off site for food the food there was okay (at least during dinner time, don’t know what they served for lunch/breakfast) and honestly reasonable priced with a range number of options. But there are plenty of options in the surrounding area. Any beverages and snacks of course are higher in price. The buses to the park were clean with ride being 5-10 minutes and we never really had to wait coming and going from the park. They cleaned the room when we went to the park however again didn’t provide enough washcloths. I called front desk about it however had to end up hunting down house keeping about an hour later to get one and even that was almost not successful. Overall the stay was okay and I guess you can expect to feel safe as I was told by my husband that a female security guard followed him to our room after he asked for directions. But again everything was good until we got home and realized our personal keys that we kept in the middle console of the rental and had both our home and car keys on had been stolen. Security did claim to check the room we had checked out of with of course no success and then afterwards it took some time for them to truly understand the situation, after being placed on hold a couple of times and then transferred to I’m assuming their supervisor who at first sounded irritated I was then told that there are no cameras in the parking garage. They did take down my contact information and description of the keys but also indicated that having “over 8,000 visitors” at the hotel a day that it may take some time to know if the keys are ever found. So in other words don’t leave ANYTHING important in your vehicle.
GGuest UserThe hotel is just fine for an overnight stay as it is located 11 minutes from the airport. Which is convenient for us who had a flight with a late arrival.
Parking is free.
The breakfast is simple, correct and included.
The security service is good as there is a guard watching the hotel day and night.
Cockroaches? Yes we have seen it. Given the heat and humidity, that must explain their presence on the ground floor, but that shouldn't allow the staff to ignore their presence, leaving one the night of our arrival until the morning of our departure.
The bedroom is large, the two queen beds are perfect for a family of four.
CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review
I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks.
Positives:
The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out.
Negatives:
That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience.
Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear.
Final Thoughts:
Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.
GGuest UserIt's still very good, but their address is a little far away from where I want to go. They have four stores at Miami International Airport. I went to the wrong store that day and went to another one.
FFēi.cnThe room was quite spacious and well-maintained, but the bedsheets were old and a little pilling, which was the first time I encountered such a thing. It is very close to the airport, and the hotel has a shuttle bus every 15 minutes, and the driver is very friendly!
LLucho RodriguezI can confidently give this dog-friendly hotel a well-deserved five-star rating, as our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and their friendliness and helpfulness were evident throughout our stay.
Our furry friend was treated like a VIP. The hotel’s commitment to being dog-friendly was remarkable, and our pet felt right at home from the start.
Beyond the pet-friendly aspect, the hotel itself was a true delight. The pool area offering a refreshing escape with nice music.
The rooms were consistently clean, and the pleasant scent that permeated the hotel created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that the staff took great care to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
As we returned for our third visit, our love for this place only grew stronger. If you’re seeking a dog-friendly haven where exceptional service, a beautiful ambiance, and pristine rooms converge, look no further. This hotel is an absolute gem that we can’t help but adore.
JJG55I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Waterstone Boca Raton Hotel and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and provided timely assistance throughout my stay.
One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel’s delightful ambiance, thanks to its captivating art collection. The artistic touches created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making my stay even more enjoyable. It was refreshing to be surrounded by such creative beauty.
Moreover, the hotel’s location was a major highlight. Being just a few minutes away from the beach made it incredibly convenient for me to soak up the sun and enjoy the sandy shores. The proximity to the beach added an extra layer of allure to my stay at Waterstone.
The rooms were well-appointed, offering comfort and a sense of tranquility. The attention to detail in the room decor was evident, and the amenities provided catered to all my needs. The cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodations were top-notch, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay.
The hotel staff consistently went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. From their warm greetings to their willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests, their exceptional service truly exceeded my expectations.
I would highly recommend the Waterstone Boca Raton Hotel to anyone seeking a delightful getaway. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind by the beach or simply enjoy an artistic atmosphere, this hotel delivers on all fronts. My stay here was nothing short of wonderful, and I look forward to returning in the future.
DDutchiesDuring our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless.
After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean.
In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile.
This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.
