I've stayed here many times. It's really convenient for layovers at LAX. The airport shuttle runs frequently, and the hotel's environment and service are both excellent!

Basically in line with the hotel situation of its brand positioning, there are no surprises or surprises. The sanitary conditions in public areas are average. There are many commercial facilities around the location and convenient dining.

Clean, new and pleasant. Everything you need to enjoy ocean stay. Parking super expensive $28 os over over paying.

It was decent. However, the showering experience in the bathtub room was quite frustrating. The tub wasn't very clean, and the showerhead was fixed, not detachable. On the plus side, the views were great. Breakfast offered fried noodles and youtiao, and they also had Chinese-speaking staff available, making it a good option for Chinese travelers on a short stay. 👍

Great value and super convenient location We had a really good stay at Kings Inn! The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a fun retro vibe that made it feel unique. The location is super convenient — just a short drive to all the major attractions in San Diego. Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely a great value for the price. We’d gladly stay here again!

Overall, it's a great hotel with excellent value for money. Many Chinese travelers visiting California choose to stay here. It's conveniently located with public transportation (metro) nearby, and there's a strong Chinese community in the area. The breakfast no longer offers Chinese dishes, but parking is free.

The front desk barely picked up calls. My friend dropped us off, and even parking for a few minutes was charged as if for the entire stay. The water pressure in our room's faucet was ridiculously low. When I checked in, the front desk attendant was all smiles with the guest before me, but then gave me a cold shoulder. Honestly, I only stayed there for one night because of an early flight the next day; otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen this place.

I stayed for one night as a halfway point to a camping trip. The hotel lobby is nice and has a great smell to it. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. Your standard eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, etc. the room was nice and spacious. Mine had a sleep number bed which was great for me as a stomach sleeper being able to adjust the firmness of the mattress. The room was clean, but you can tell it needs a good deep cleaning of the carpets and scuff marks on the walls and furniture. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are a light sleeper. The walls are thin and you could hear kids running through the hall and yelling. There was plenty of parking. It was $12. I didn’t get to try the bar or restaurant because I went to the nearby mall instead to shop. All in all, I had a great stay and would come back again.

I really liked the community vibe of this hotel — it feels social and welcoming. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the bathroom was very nice and well designed, which made up for it. I also loved the meeting rooms and shared spaces; they’re great for working or relaxing outside the room. Overall, a comfortable stay with a good atmosphere. Neighborhood was quite unsafe though so I would recommend staying elsewhere if you want to explore places at night. Otherwise call a car or be back by sunset. Would have been nice to have some variety in the meals as it was the exact same every breakfast.
