Positive: Good location near the city center. Very easy to access to main attractions, pier and foods. Nice and more to modern hotel compare to another local hotels in the town. As Thai, B2 is the list that I always choose but for this branch there are many things to improve. Negative: cleanliness of the room is the worst B2 that I ever stay. Bedsheets dirty, mold in the shower seems like they never deep clean. Hair even in the minibar. Feedback pass to staffs to improve significantly. Staffs service could be nicer but compare to the tier as budget hotel. I can rank them to 4/5. However, my only 1 night here. I asked for more pillows and they said we are out of stock and then done.

We stayed here to be close to the airport, so location was not great. Really your quite in trouble if your hungry, so make sure to hit up the surrounding malls before they close at 9pm. Or your only option will be 711 (which isn’t terrible!?) We were reluctant to stay here after a bad experience with B2 Ao Nang. But this one was MUCH better ran!! Cleaner , and the staff was so wonderful! It is a great bang for your buck. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish they had a gym!

I was placed in a room that overlooked the staff entrance so had the noise of them chatting on breaks and coming and going on their scooters so was a bit noisy. The phone in the room wasn’t connected, so just a prop I guess? The fridge defrosted and stopped working. They replaced this but with a European plug (using my only adaptor). Turns out that the plug port had blown so I had to lose some food and find another socket in the room (could not supply me with a replacement adaptor). The teaspoon was dirty and I had to ask to have a tv provided. The shower wouldn’t work hot. The pressure of the hot water wasn’t enough to keep the valve to feed the shower, open. On arrival I used the “luggage storage” which was just an area where everyone dumped their luggage (open plan next to reception) when I came back to check in, my rucksack wasn’t there. It was erroneously taken with another guests luggage. My passport and cash/cards were enclosed so luckily they managed to locate it. The hotel is a bit dilapidated and needs attention. Overall the staff are great and hard workers, the owner clearly lets the place down.

My stay was super awesome with Samaya.❤️ Samaya runs a lot of wellness activities like Yoga, Sound healing etc almost on a daily basis except Tuesdays and Sundays without any cost. You will get Beach access, Infinity pool over here which from my POV is best among the other resorts. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, the staff is super nice and cooperative. What I loved the most is that they have Kayak boats to do Kayaking in the sea. Also the infinity pool is also well maintained and gives a good view to the ocean. The resort is also located in a quiet and peaceful area. The only limitation I faced is that they have not fixed their elevator which is why their bell boys have to do the heavy lifting of the luggage and carry it to the upper floors via stairs. So me and my friends preferred to carry our own luggages which is obviously not a problem. I have stayed here for 11 days and overall I enjoyed my stay and will come again next time for sure.

Had a lovely 4 night stay here. Right in the centre so it’s a great location. It does get busy at night as it is in the main party area but it was great for us for going out. Nice hotel rooms and pool area. A little run down but it was great for us.

For the price point, this location is really clean! Just that we arrived late at night and the counter lady had limited English command, so I had a bit of issue as I couldn’t get more info. But when I came down to get my grab food, I met with a gentleman who was very kind to show me all the complimentary items available 24/7 (like juice and drinks). If I have to have another stopover at Surat Thani, I’ll be back. Breakfast was provided too! Parking is available at the premises.

It’s not part of an international chain and that adds to the charm, with a friendly local feeling. It also means it’s slightly more rustic than your typical chain too. We took a boat trip arranged through the hotel which was excellent. They also hired and delivered scooters for us at competitive rates. Probably the highlight was the in-villa bbq which was sensational. The food here really is good, with plenty of local options too. Although the onsite dining options may appear limited online, each of the 3 locations really delivered with extensive and varied menus. A great stay.

Sparkling clean. The toilet was nice and spacious. So do the room. Had fantastic view with large windows overlooking the town. The downside is no kettle provided.

I got the suite with the pool, it does not look like the photos. I had a pretty high traffic area where my pool faced, and there’s loud music at the restaurant next door, last thing I wanted when I was hoping for isolation after 8 weeks of rough work on the road. A door was missing in my bedroom and maintenance had to come reinstall it on my second day. Spa never had an availability during my stay, and buggies are required to go anywhere in the park (unless roaming in the heat is your thing). The service was slow at times (I’d often come back to my room and see room service plates stacked outside for a later cleanup) - but my room was meticulously cleaned each day and the buggy staff were incredibly friendly.

This is a very big resort hotel with large beautiful gardens. Hotel provides club cars to shuttle the guests between different places inside the hotel. All stuff always smile to greet the guests, and provide very nice service. The hotel has large amounts of different beautiful shapes of beach chairs nicely arranged at various places around the beach and pool areas for guests to have enough fun. All restaurants have ocean views, and carefully designed to have relaxing atmospheres, those are really enjoyable. The breakfast is also very nice with very good selections. The waves at this beach here are strong which make a very loud sound. The sounds truly make me so relax, as well as an unforgettable experience. Our deluxe terrace guest room is by the beach on the first floor, and near the pool bar and a restaurant. We can overlook the ocean, and enjoy the wave sound just from our terrace. On the other hand, the room has airtight windows to keep the room absolutely quiet. Thank Sheraton for making our Samui vacation such a wonderful and memorable one.

Although it is a bit far from the airport, it does not affect the good mood of this trip. The room is perfect, the environment and facilities are very good, the hotel's SPA is also good, we stayed in the hotel for two days, the restaurant food is also delicious, the service staff are very friendly. The only flaw that makes me feel there is a flaw is that during breakfast, the pregnant service staff was a bit impatient, with a gloomy face and wishing we would finish ordering quickly. On the contrary, she treated the few foreign couples who came after us with smiles. They are all here to consume, so why should they be treated differently?

Good hotel. Fully justifies its level. Series A Partial Sea View rooms on the map face Lomai Beach rather than the hotel's bay and have sunset views. You can only move around the hotel by golf carts. The roads are narrow, often with steep inclines. If you go on foot, it’s not comfortable, you’ll probably get hit by a car. There are several unfortunate villas along which there is a descent to the sea and half the hotel passes by them. Therefore, on these villas outside the home, there is no privacy. Overall I can recommend the hotel. Excellent service, everything is beautiful and pleasant. There are small corals and a few fish in the bay. You can snorkel from the shore. A mask, vest, fins, as well as pads and kayaks are provided on the beach free of charge.

Service excellence : Courteous, Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Accommodation quality : Spacious, well-furnished rooms with high-quality bedding and linens. Impeccable cleanliness in room and common areas.

Hotels in Koh Samui are not as good as this niche library hotel. The location is excellent, the environment is excellent, the service is excellent, the food is excellent, and it is a good place for the family to lie down. Avoid Christmas and New Year, and the price is still very good! Looking forward to staying next time!

The reason I booked Kimpton was because of the interior design, very beautiful property. The room was nice and comfortable with spacious balcony. Staffs are very helpful and nice, just a bit out of control during breakfast time, kinda feel like understaff. It’s a great place for family so not so recommended for couples or people who prefer quiet and privacy. Foods at the fish house restaurant are amazing, fresh ingredients and good quality. Plus point is the sunrise is so beautiful from Kimpton.

Staff wasn’t very friendly though may be because they have too many guests. As per them my room was upgraded but actually it was downgraded with smelly linens. Though good part, and thanks for an early checkin free of charge. So it was good/bad experience

We stayed in Intercontinental for 2 nights and chosen the Club room with afternoon tea and sunset package benefit. The breakfast & afternoon tea is nice which you can order any drinks you like for the whole day. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is free scheduled shuttle service to Tesco and Central Mall which is good as the hotel is far from anywhere especially if you don’t have a car, it’s quite troublesome to go out. For dinner we ate at the nearby Island View Restaurant which provided free transport to the hotel. We requested for a room with lesser steps/staircases distance as my elderly parents were travelling with us and they cannot walk to many steps, which they provided the nearest room from lobby. Room #105 & 106 😉

The actual place covers everything. Good location, next to the main road, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room's security system is very tight. All employees provide good service. But about breakfast There is too much emphasis on local food. There is no American Breakfast besides bread/tea, milk, coffee. We saw a foreign couple sitting and eating. We thought, will they be able to eat it? We are people from the central region. Still can only eat fried pork with steamed rice. And bread. We think that sometimes it's about food. There may be some switching.

I highly recommend a homestay, the owner is very polite, the price is so cheap that it is not expensive, each cottage is very special, we arrived after 10 o'clock, the owner has been waiting, and helped us carry the luggage, and will go next time

I like the ambiance of the hotel.. the bathtub feels refreshing after a long holiday. I will surely go back to this hotel.

Only stayed for one night. The room was spacious..you can tell it’s not new n the design/ furniture gives dormitory. The ac worked well n there were sockets next to our beds so we can charge our phones..Water pressure very high ( which we loved). No toothbrush provided…Maybe there was a pet shop downstairs, but for the whole night there was animal sounds. Awwm 🤔 7/11 and transport bus station close by ( so u can schedule bus to the islands). Helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Orchid Riverview. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was fine and the staff very friendly.

This place is a gem! Clean rooms, nice bathroom, great wifi (on my second stay it improved a lot). I would recommend this place to anyone, I did two (1) night stays here when I was waiting to catch a ferry or flight and both times I enjoyed my stay here! Would be good for couples or families as there is a cafe inside the hotel. 7-11 nearby within walking distance. No complaints from me in this place. Will stay here again in the future.

The hotel is located a little far from civilization. You need to be prepared for this. The nearest 7 eleven is a 20 minute walk. This was not a problem for us. We stayed for 2 days and spent them entirely at the hotel. I didn't want to go out anywhere. At first glance, everything seems a little outdated, but the area has such a cool, relaxing atmosphere that after 5 minutes you forget about it. We lived in a wonderful Villa with a pool and sunset views right from the balcony. Breakfast and dinner were included. The food was divine. The staff is very attentive. Everyone knows what villa you live in, what kind of coffee you like, etc. It was very surprising. The hotel has a beautiful beach - although in the afternoon, because... in the first half, due to the tide, the beach goes under water. But in the afternoon it opens and it’s very cool to walk there. The places are very picturesque.

Overall the hotel was nice but in several point not what we expected: We booked a „villa with sea view“. There was no sea view at the villa that was assigned to us. You couldn’t see the sea neither from within the villa nor from the pool nor from the sun beds nor from the outside bath tub. The only way to see a glimpse of the sea was to stand up on a certain spot on the terrace. That’s not what we expected from a room advertised as „with sea view“ and the (trip.com) booking page also suggested otherwise. When we complained, we got assigned another villa where we could see the sea partly. Thank you for that. However, the manager told us that the photos from the booking page were in fact another villa. But it's not my responsibility to make sure that the photos and pictures provided on booking pages are correct. The hotel has to take care of that! This holds also true for the next issue: The gym was closed due to renovation. In the booking process, they advertised a huge fitness center with lots of machines. Now it’s shut down and we did not get any information about this. The „mini gym“, which does not even have at least one multi exercise machine, is nothing but a bad joke and no replacement at all for a proper gym! Again the staff told us they would inform about this on their website. When I checked that, I still found the photos of the large gym on their own website. It was just called ”mini gym”. But how am I supposed to know what they mean by that and that the provided photos are no longer correct??

This is a great hotel. Starting from the location, ending with small details in the room - mosquito spray in a perfume bottle. The staff is very polite and caring. You feel in absolute comfort and safety. The hotel area is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Breakfasts are great. There is everything. Buffet format + ordering from the menu. Any kind of scrambled eggs, porridge, juices, avocado toast, fruit, etc. You must leave a deposit of 1000 baht at the hotel; it will be returned upon check-out. On the downside, one night there was a lot of noise from the company in the neighboring villa. With music, dancing, etc. I think the hotel should take action and prevent this from happening. Still, the non-hotel format does not imply noisy parties.

The +: Magnificent hotel overlooking Shark Bay. Out of the city so quiet, scooter rental necessary to get around. The hotel is built on the hillside, there are many stairs to move between the rooms, the pool, the reception, but it has its charm. Green spaces and pool very well maintained. The -: mattress too soft and very hollowed by all the guests preceding me; surprising for a hotel of this standing ... moreover, on one of our 4 nights, a major water leak woke us up. We called the hotel staff in the middle of the night, who responded, and intervened during the day to repair. When checking out, when paying for the stay (breakfast, spa, ...) a ridiculous discount of 398 baht or € 10.81 was granted to us. A very light commercial gesture considering the inconvenience caused, for a room at 100€/night … Finally, the services offered (massage, spa, snorkeling and canoe equipment rental) are very expensive compared to the prices practiced elsewhere on the island. If you do not plan to leave the hotel, prepare yourself to pay dearly.

The room is clean and nicely decorated in a nature theme, especially the bathroom with the stone floor and walls. The beach area of the hotel is a little bit small compared to the neighboring hotels but still good. But what convinced me most of all is the service. The hotel staff is super nice and very helpful with everything you need. The hotel area is pretty big so there is a cart service that can pick you up at your hotel room and drive you out to the entrance (or beach, pool, …). Very convenient because the street with all the restaurants is right outside the entrance (and a 7-eleven right across the entrance). So all in all a very pleasant experience and i would definitely stay there again.

The Vannee is a 3.5 star hotel but we can’t do half stars here. The hotel lacks details on most ends but overall a decent place to stay. The breakfast was not good for the 2 days of our stay. The true standout aspect of this hotel is the massive pool that expands the length of the grounds. There is a swimup pool bar.

We had a great stay at Tarna Align. The check-in service was incredibly fast, with a staff to tour us around, followed by a buggy to bring us to our villa. We love the fact that we can WhatsApp to communicate with the hotel staff and they reply rather immediately with decent English too. The hotel provides free shuttle to the town. If it’s out of the schedule, you just need to pay 50 bath per person per trip for the driver to bring you to town. Clean room with no sand, comfy bed and pillows, we are very happy with our stay and highly recommend this place for those who would enjoy some peace and privacy. The hotel even gave little cute yummy snacks after making the bed. The hotel can also help you book a snorkeling tour with Oxygen tour. We are also really happy that the hotel provides water in glass bottles.

The hotel is good. We decided to extend it for a day and change the room. The employees agreed. The beach is clean. The villas are wonderful. The bed is comfortable

The rooms are a little tired (we had a strange stain on the ceiling), but the beautiful green area and the bay itself make us close our eyes to this. A coral reef begins immediately in the shallow waters off the coast. There is a feeling of pleasant distance from civilization and noise. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The main disadvantage is the stairs, you need to be prepared to climb them if you book this hotel. Good breakfast. The hotel's main bar has good cocktails, but don't try the panini - it's not ciabatta, just a bad sandwich with toasted bread.
