It’s a decent hotel for its price with delicious breakfast and convenient location. Staff is welcoming and friendly. There’s a safe at the reception if you need it. Room has all kinds of cutleries, pots and pans, and a little stove which makes it suitable for cooking your own food. But in the room there’s no toothbrush and toothpaste as well as slippers. Also shampoo and shower gel is like all-in-one, so make sure to bring your own toiletries. The other good thing is that water can be taken at the reception or in a breakfast room if you run out of that you were provided with.
I enjoyed my stay and definitely can recommend this hotel
Always come here, it is our favourite hotel in Krakow and has good acces to the city center, the traveler type is really for anyone, families, couples, businesses travellers, brilliant rooms, good bar, and the service is top notch. Would highly recommend.
It is very close to the railway station and easy to get in and out. Hotel breakfast is also very good. The waiter at the front desk was rather indifferent and gave us a room with a separate bathroom and room. Didn't understand why it was designed in this way? Could it be that guests were asked to wear pajamas and go to the corridor to another bathroom. The older waiter at the front desk insisted on showing us this room and showing her the room type photos shown in Ctrip's booking record. Later, through Ctrip, we negotiated with the hotel in time before changing to another room. Other services of the hotel are very good.
We booked because of the good reviews, but I cannot agree with the reviews. The location is good, you are not directly in the city now but after a few minutes walk you reach the old town. The room was quite small but well furnished. Had been waiting a little more on the basis of the pictures. Unfortunately, we found hair from our bed at the arrival. In the shower was black fungus and the shower head dropped uninterrupted. I noticed it but, except for an excuse from the lady at the reception, I heard nothing more. I found very sorry.
It was my first time in Krakow and I was planning to take the train, so I chose this hotel close to the station. I arrived without getting lost by passing through the shopping mall next to the station. I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, probably because I wrote my arrival time in Krakow in the message from the facility after booking, but they let me in, which was helpful. The size of the room was fine, but the soundproofing was weak and there was quite a bit of noise from the hallway and the next room, but it was quiet at night and I had no problem sleeping, but this may depend on the guests in the next room. Overall, the advantage of the good access to the station and the old town was a big plus.

Check-in was nice and easy. The hotel is located in a convenient location, but outside the Old Town so you save a little on price. I was able to get a bucket of ice each day. My only complaint was the mini-fridge. It was the size of a small microwave and crammed with over-priced items with no room left for a beer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very well appointed and spacious including the bathroom. The dining experience in the restaurant was also enjoyable and breakfast was more than adequate.
I would not recommend this hotel if you have a car though. Hard to find and access is difficult. Parking fees in my view are excessive.

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay at the hotel — it was very comfortable, and everything was great. The room was clean and cozy, and I felt very relaxed there.
Just a small suggestion: it would be nice to have some extra bathroom items like a shower cap, cotton swabs, and a штsmall toiletry set.
Also, I used the airport shuttle service, which was convenient. But I was a bit disappointed that the driver didn’t help me with my suitcase — I had to lift it myself into the car, even though it’s a paid service. My luggage wasn’t too big, and as a woman traveling alone, I would have appreciated some help. I think that kind of support is part of good service.
Thank you again for a nice stay!
GGuest UserDoubletree, Krakow is excellent. The Polish staff are professional and efficient. It's a tram away from the Old Town (reviewers complaining of the distance are either ignorant, lazy, or entitled). You can actually take a tram from two stops, which can get you pretty much to the major tourist areas such as Wawel Castle or even Podgorze where the Krakus Mound is located. Hilton includes a sauna, a 24-hour gym, and a really good breakfast with smoothies, desserts, and local Polish bread and honey. They surprisingly even served champagne one morning. Rooms are above standard and the hotel feels very new. During lean months (up to March), rooms are affordable but during conference months and high tourist season, Doubletree can get packed - with good reason. As expected, you get the Hilton chocolate chip cookie at check-in.
GGuest UserExcellent location, comfortable hotel, beautiful room
Unfortunately, room 105 is not quiet because the air conditioner is too noisy and to complete the noise of the tram rails located in a short distance continued to feel, Until midnight, and then it took over around six, and even though you weren't very much in the room during the day, the evening and early morning it became intolerable, sometimes it was also trembling the room.
Excellent breakfast with little sweet for us Italians
By changing the room I would advise him lively
SsallyThe positives. The hotel was modern, well positioned from the central square, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was good quality with a diverse choice.
The negatives. A member of the cleaning staff walked into my room early morning without knocking. I believe she didn't realise the room was occupied. I was in my underwear in my bed exposed. It caused much embarrassment to me and her. I made a complaint. However, it was brushed aside, and there was no apology. From the staff member at reception. I ordered in food, and when it was delivered by the outside restaurant, it was left to sit at the hotel reception. When I eventually received a call from the desk via my moibile, the meal was cold and ruined. The receptionist claimed she had called my room telephone - she hadn't. Another incident with the cleaning staff, they threw my water bottle away when they cleaned the room. I asked where it was, and they went rifling through the black bags. I was totally shocked that they thought they could put my possession in the garbage.
The staff can be abrupt, Each job sector is very dislocated from the other, so it feels quite cold in the atmosphere of the hotel. If they could address the harmony of the staff, then the place would feel more welcoming.
11357007****The location is fantastic, on the Buda side, right below Fisherman's Bastion. We checked in in the evening and could just walk out the back of the hotel to reach Fisherman's Bastion, and then head down to the Chain Bridge. Breakfast was incredibly rich with a wide selection of cheeses, sausages, and fruits. The front desk staff's English was excellent. The hotel is small but charming. The only downside was that the 'double bed' was actually two small single beds pushed together, so for a couple to sleep together, they'd have to squeeze onto one very small single bed. There are a few traditional Portuguese restaurants downstairs with reasonable prices.
DdelThe location was Amazing , I can see the central square from my room . Really few steps no from everything. Well equipped room , with kettle , mug , soluble coffe and tea . I love this kind of stuff in the room . The bathroom, the shower was clean and new . The receptionist nice . The breakfast is weel filled ..you can chose between salty and sweet stuff .
You can find everything you need there . ☺️ Widly suggested
GGuest UserSolid hotel which is close to the city center. The interior is older but kept well. The bed was good. Free WIFI was there, on site parking in the courtyard. Breakfast had very tasty scrambled eggs. Not obercooked.
Good hotel for my overnight roadtrip stay.
MMillerMikeFantastic hotel! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is great on one of the main tram lines and close to the bus and train stations. Room and bathroom were the perfect size and the bed was big and comfortable. Really enjoyed the fresh water dispenser in the hall for refilling water bottles and having cups of tea after coming in from the cold. Room and lobby were very clean and the bar/food counter in the lobby was great!
AAnonymous Userit was a nice hotel to stay overall.
the only thing i did not like was cleaness because i found some dusts on the desk and the sink.
as per the staff, everyone was helpful and warm-welcoming.
and the breakfast is a bit expensive but worthwhile to pay for 49 zloty because all the food were fresh and delicious. it is good to have breakfast early in the morning if you have to be in a hurry such as catching a plane or train.
besides, the location is very convenient. there is a direct bus to wieliszka salt mine, which is quite far from the city center and stare miasto (the downtown's name in polish) is also close to go due to lots of trams connecting from the hotel. 😆😆
and i personally take into consideration about whether there are stairs even at the entrance due to a heavy suitcase. there are no stairs at the main entrance and 2 lifts are working very well, and no need to worry about bringing the room card key. 😁
and the given password is easy to remember and convenient to get in the room, which can help you travel light.
thus, i would like to strongly recommend staying here due to lots of benefits to travel in krakow.
GGuest UserShort 4 day stay in Krakow. We had most things planned ahead of trip so we were only using the hotel as a base as we had a lot to cram into the time we had.
Hotel was very clean and quiet as more mature aged people seemed to be using the premises.
Staff were polite and friendly and when we asked about a trip to the salt mines they obliged and had us booked in minutes
