Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below:
During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car.
There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd.
The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono.
Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.
My family stayed in a room with three beds, and it was nice because the room was large.
The view of the room where we could see Sunset Beach was good, and it was also good that several wash and bath items were arranged in the lobby free of charge for guests to use the public bath.
However, the internal facilities were a little disappointing

Location: The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from Naha Airport, costing around 2000 JPY. It's a 3-5 minute walk to Kokusai Dori. Just outside, to the right, you'll find the popular Nammuru Ramen, and to the left, a famous fried beef cutlet restaurant. Convenience stores are also very close by.
Facilities: The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and looks relatively new. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Service: The front desk staff speak good English. The room was cleaned daily, and two bottles of mineral water were provided.
Overall, it's a good choice and I would recommend it!
Location: On the outskirts of Okinawa city on the edge of Kadena air base - not a problem if you are driving as it connects to the main routes, not far also from American Village
Parking: Ample free parking
Room: Spacious with a lot of light, but since it is close to the air base you can hear military planes taking off and landing through the morning
Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes
Facilities: Swimming pool on rooftop (water looked really cold) with a bar but the views were great, and welcome drinks were complimentary and available till late. Onsen on 2/F also opens till late
Perfect hotel for my getaway even just four days solo. Two different types of breakfast and I love the Japanese on. Easy to book massage and facial inside hotel even it’s typical hotel price. Indoor and outdoor pools perfect for changing weather. I’m so impressed with the simple thing like gardening with all types of plant. Also good for kids with all entertainments. The sauna and public bath are small but standard and practical.
Location wise, it’s next to the beach and park for morning workout if you don’t wanna stay in hotel. Taxi apps GO is fantastic to get me anywhere but still short distance reaching museum, American village, community onsen. So I’m greatly satisfied.
Next time I will book diving day experience as there are many agents around.

We had an afternoon flight and didn't arrive at the hotel until 9 PM. The front desk is conveniently located on the 17th floor. The top floor offers unparalleled views overlooking the entire city of Naha. The hotel is newly opened, and having visited Japan many times, I'm accustomed to the 'small but perfectly formed' concept. This time, the facilities felt very modern and streamlined, and even though the room was compact, the kids were still thrilled with it. The self-service dryer and vending machines on the 2nd floor were also a great convenience. The hotel boasts an excellent location; there's a popular BBQ restaurant right below it, and plenty of other dining options in the vicinity. The kids certainly enjoyed their shopping sprees! It also offers great value for money. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Excellent Stay at a Great Location!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the area. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing great recommendations. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment.
One of the highlights was the hot bath, which was a perfect way to unwind after a long day. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely stay here again!

Room was good, spacious and came with washing machine.
Location is good, opposite Naha mall, very convenient and few minutes walk away from monorail station.
Breakfast was way below expectations-we did not see any cucumber, sweet corn, or cherry tomatoes in the salad serving.
Even the famous local food - bittergourd and sweet potato were missing from the breakfast table.
This is the worst breakfast I have ever had in Japan chain hotels so far, really disappointed….
Huge resort hotel with lots to do for families. The onsen facilities are great (extra charge for guests) and breakfast was good. The room had a fantastic ocean view. Better to have a car to drive around as not much in the local area.

Facilities: The self-check-in machine was super convenient, offering a Simplified Chinese language option. You just need to register with the main booker's passport first, then add your companions. The laundry room only had two washing machines, so be prepared for a wait.
Cleanliness: Fresh towels and bath towels were replaced daily.
Location: The location was fantastic. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and a duty-free 7-Eleven directly across the street. It's about a 5-minute walk to the tram stop, and Kokusai Dori (International Street) is roughly 10-15 minutes on foot. You'll also pass by Danbo Ramen, which always has a long line.
Service: Free luggage storage was available.

Very Good
TTingOnTheGoRooms are big and spacious but, it feels this hotel is understaffed as our room is quite filthy and looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. Firstly, the bed looked like someone just lied on it and the beds were skew, secondly the fridge was really filthy, they dnt even bother cleaning it, and thirdly, there’s lots of footprints on the floor which means they dnt have enough time to mop the dirt on the floor. Oh, and we had another issue with the room, TV will automatically switch on by itself at odd hours😬 We had difficulty communicating with the staff as their English is not that fluent.
But overall, it’s a great family hotel, I absolutely loved the facilities, kids had loads of fun at the pool and were crazy about the slides as well as the facilities on the beach. Extra bonus to the “happy hour drinks” (from 3-6pm, 9-11pm ).
JJusgalAmenities provided and free to take outside the lift includes comb, toothbrush, razor, and cotton buds. Shower cap can be found at the public bath at thr top level. Facial items (cleaning oil, cleanser, toner, cream) are provided during check-in and one set per guest, which is only sufficient for one day use. Had to ask staff for more. No tea provided only coffee. No daily cleaning until the 3rd/4th day but will provide new towels, pyjamas, water and coffee in a large bag hanged at the door. Trash had to be brought outside the room for disposal.
SSophia MGreat breakfast here. Lots of variety to choose from.
I loved the pool as well but be aware that day time is free but from 7pm - it will cost 1,000 yen per person (comes with one drink) Amazing hot tub so I thought it was worth it.
Many travelers from around the world staying here.
I think it is a nice causal stay either solo or with friend & Family.
One thing I noticed (you may notice too) is that the bathroom smelled just a little. It may be from the pool above.
GGuest UserWe booked three nights at the ANA Manza beach hotel and I had a great time. The service was amazing and the location is exceptional. The private beach was great and as a hotel guest towels and chairs are included. I highly recommend use of the concierge lounge, the check-in process and the daily option for breakfast and evening snacks and cocktails was wonderful. Food was great, staff was great, beach and location were great. We would definitely do it again.
JJUpon arrival at the Southwest Grand Hotel, one is immediately struck by the calibre of design sensibilities that grace the establishment. Our room exhibited a masterful fusion of contemporary elegance and practical luxury, with thoughtfully appointed furnishings and refined finishes throughout. The intelligent spatial arrangement maximised both comfort and functionality, whilst the sophisticated colour palette created an atmosphere of understated opulence.
The hotel's facilities proved equally impressive, with particular mention deserved for the meticulously maintained swimming pool and comprehensively equipped fitness centre. These amenities demonstrated the property's unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction across all facets of the hospitality experience.
Breakfast service warrants special commendation, offering a veritable cornucopia of culinary delights that catered admirably to diverse palates. From impeccably executed Okinawa classics to inspired international offerings, the gastronomic range was nothing short of remarkable. The quality of ingredients was patently evident in each dish, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to sourcing premium produce.
The exclusive lounge service elevated our stay to extraordinary heights, providing a sanctuary of refined comfort accompanied by attentive yet discreet service. The curated selection of refreshments and light fare throughout the day ensured guests remained splendidly catered for between mealtimes—a thoughtful touch that exemplifies genuine hospitality.
Perhaps most noteworthy was the exceptional staff performance across all departments. Room service was delivered with flawless precision and genuine warmth, whilst the housekeeping team maintained immaculate standards with remarkable efficiency. The front-of-house personnel displayed particular resourcefulness in facilitating car park tickets, navigating potential complexities with ease and ensuring guests experienced no inconvenience whatsoever.
The Southwest Grand Hotel stands as a paragon of contemporary hospitality, where exceptional physical attributes are matched by equally impressive service standards. Their collective commitment to guest satisfaction ensures this establishment remains a distinguished choice for the discerning traveller.
SsheenzdinoWe absolutely loved our stay! Although this was an old hotel since 1975, the resort is well renovated and maintained well. The room is very spacious but a bit dark for our elderly parents (preference) and clean! Room has plenty of privacy. Stayed here for a mid point to Churaumi Aquarium.
There is also a public bath within the hotel open in the evening. We came in winter so there was no crowd at the beach and breakfast buffet. Lawson is 5 min walkable distance. Ate dinner at Yakiniku Ryukyunoushi nearby.
LLiulangjinxingHoshinoya's service was first-rate. I highly recommend the horseback riding, which was a unique experience. The infinity pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of snorkeling spots nearby. The kids had a blast, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was plentiful, and the surroundings were beautiful. The only downside was the Wi-Fi wasn't working, and they couldn't fix it. The hotel immediately offered to change rooms, but I didn't consider it due to my heavy luggage. Even if I did, the cost of cleaning wouldn't be cheap. They suggest better equipment management, and Ctrip did everything they could to accommodate. Thank you so much! This was the only time I wanted to give a negative review, but I changed my mind because of the excellent service at Hoshinoya. I maintain my high rating and recommend it!
ししおり旅I shiori TripI want to use it again.
I didn't have a license, so I searched for the location and facilities of the hotel and booked it.
Especially good was that there was a rental cycle, there was a large bath, and it was 10 minutes walk north of Yonaha Beach. I went to Yonaha North Beach to see the sunset, but I could see the best view.
It is more than a business hotel than a resort hotel, but there is everything you need and you don't have to worry. And I was able to rest slowly in the quiet building with a large communal bath.
※ There are no rice shops or convenience stores nearby, but there was a restaurant in the building.
CChilunThe hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge.
The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.
JJuzimanmanMy stay at this Hyatt on our last day in Okinawa was very satisfying.
**Location:**
It's conveniently located, just a 5-10 minute walk from Kokusai Dori. A taxi from the airport costs approximately 2000 JPY, making it easily accessible.
**Arrival Experience & Lobby:**
The overall environment was pleasant. Upon arrival, staff promptly greeted us and assisted with our luggage. Check-in was incredibly efficient, taking less than 10 minutes. The lobby also offers comfortable sofas for guests to rest.
**Room & Facilities:**
The room was a good size, not at all cramped. The bathroom featured a practical wet/dry separation. Our window overlooked the street, but the room was surprisingly quiet.
**Cleanliness:**
Everything was spotlessly clean.
**Service:**
The service was excellent, and we were very satisfied.
