The hotel arrived late at night, just opposite the airport, and the check-in in the middle of the night was electronically unregistered. Reservation number is required, but Trip.com does not provide it. I called the front desk of the hotel and made a good check-in in the background. The English language is not good. The toilet leaked and noisy all night.
the room rate isn't cheap $5xx per night, but the maintenance of toilet isn't good. My room number is 24xx ..but the reception didn't guide me how to reach my room. I need to take times to find the way. because the signage in a lift inside. the corridor signage was wrong. The sink is a bit chocked up and very difficult to switch on the tap water. The breakfast is good and many coffee selections.
An undisputed five-star hotel. If you want to stay at a higher class hotel than the Dorint Hotel, this is the place to go.
There is a 996 race car at the reception, and you can enjoy a racing simulator and a bar.
A smoking lounge is available, and it is nice that you can smoke while sitting in a chair in a spacious space.
The *** attached to the hotel is mechanical, and first-time visitors can register as a member at the reception desk and enter. It is quite easy for beginners to get into, but it is still a little disappointing compared to the type with a dealer.
The view from the balcony is inferior to Dorint. If you try to see the GP course, you can't see it because the stands block your view, so if you want to see the cars, Dorint is better.
The hotel was overall very good and without any challenges. But staff always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, organisational and quantitatively not satisfied. The combination of cash and reception is innovative, but if this double area is occupied with only one person and in all cases waiting times are not negligible, there is a significant need for improvement. Breakfast with massive waiting cords, I have never experienced. That means the breakfast area is underdimensioned. The staff who are friendly and helpful despite overload is a light view of these organizational and constructive deficiencies.
English speaking front desk, location downtown. clean. simple. Out of the road through Koblenz. Walk to places such as the pedestrian street. Very good...the price is a bit expensive compared to the economy hotel
Parking is a big trouble, going to the parking garage, walking for a few minutes, the service attitude is not good, open an invoice and crooked, in the center of the city, it is not good to drive in, the room facilities are very good
Hotel location is excellent, just a short walk from train station (slightly downhill) and close to old city center / touristy areas and farmers market on Saturday. Rooms are basic but very clean. Air conditioner is great, especially during the hot summers. Towels slightly old, but very clean - everything is changed daily. Bathroom again is basic, amenities are only body shampoo / shower gell - so if you need additional items (eg cotton buds, shower cap, etc.) then bring your own. Breakfast selection is not bad. Hotel design is modern / compact. Closets are open, which is great - gives the room more space and less likely to leave anything behind in the hotel. Beds are flexible: two wins which can be passed apart or together, as needed. Pillows, sheets and blankets are very comfortable. Service is good - the front desk person was new, but the manager was on hand immediately to resolve any issues. There is parking behind the hotel - but not many spaces, so you will need to be early to get a space, or lucky. Highly recommend this budget hotel - especially if you are traveling by train.
I like these antiques the steyle of my generation. That's why there are also 5 stars and because the reception ladies are so nice. That's suitable for the transformation in Germany. Very clean. That's good again. It's in principle appropriate to the age

GGuest UserI booked a single room and was very happy to have a double room with a modern bathroom and fridge.
A late check-in (via the box + pin) worked great.
SShuk YiThe hotel chain is all located near train station and we trust the brand. That's the reason we chose this hotel. This one is about 10 minutes walk from Mainz train station. Very easy for travelling. It's also within walking distance to the old town where there are few Christmas markets - all about 20 minutes' walk.
The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom has enough hooks and rails for towels and clothes.
Staff are very friendly. In general, the Germans are hospitable and friendly to foreigners.
IiPhaiThis hotel is located just in front of the train station which is so convenient, also mean the main bus stop is here. It's quite well decorated. Despite its old built, it's well organized inside. Unfortunately I got the room on the backside but still got the top floor, so won't complain. They have AC and heater(separately). Just only one hair in found in the bathroom is the diasadvantage. Oh well, the blanket seems to be smaller than a queen bed. Maybe because I book just for one, anyway I hope to get a big one. A women at the reception I met was nice, friendly. Overall, I kinda like it here. Well, haven't tried thier breakfast so, can't say. I will be back here if I visit Mainz for some business reasons.
GGuest UserThe service is excellent because the owners are highly devoted to carry out the best service possible. This is best illustrated by the breakfast. Guest are able to request specific kinds of breakfast in advance beside the regular german styled breakfast. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent for visitors to the University besides being close to the train station. The hotel is located in a quite housing area. Thus, not many facilities are close-by but in turn the sleep in the night is rather smooth and undisturbed. I will certainly stay again in this hotel when I am traveling this parts of Germany,
GGuest UserService was absolutely first class from email contact before arrival, help with a luggage issue upon arrival , checking out, and everything in between. All staff were really lovely and helpful and always smiling!
Food was perfect and the restaurant staff were really engaged with us, recommending items from the menu and perfect wine to accompany the food. Prices were very reasonable too.
This was my second trip to the Mercure in Koblenz and I will definitely be back. Even as a lone female traveller, I felt very comfortable which is a huge benefit to enable enjoyment of the whole trip.
MARVELLOUS, thank you
GGuest UserThe location behind the main station, but without direct access, requires 30 minutes walk to both the station and the city centre. The rooms are rather small, but convenient and functional. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very good for a short stay and the parking was free.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a little bit creepy. They have an underground floor but the elevator button at the underground floor didn't work at all. I waited for ten minutes like an *****. Breakfast was decent though. The Viet food around the corner was great
GGuest UserIt is the first time i book a boutique hotel in Germany and I had a long drive from Dusseldorf that day. When I arrived, Henny guided me very well on where to offload my luggage, where to park and where to have dinner later. Superb and patient guidance. The room was clean and sets a good environment for rejuvenation. Later also, met Mr and Mrs Horbach who booked the mine tours for me. Truly grateful for the good room, goid breakfast and restful time. Thank you
NNganThe hotel has its own restaurant, which provides a simple Western breakfast. The room is just the right size, neat and clean. It is about fifteen minutes by foot from the racing circuit. Free parking is provided.
