”My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful 2-day getaway at this beautiful hotel, from the moment, check -in was quick and efficient. The hotel's beachfront location was perfect for us - we spent our days lounging on the sand and the long trail to stroll along the water side. we had a special and memorable time at the hotel. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic beach vacation. We can't wait to come back!”

The breakfast is rich and nutritious! The parking lot is also free, the location is moderate, 20km from the airport, 20 minutes by car, almost the same as the city, but the price is 30% cheaper

The hotel is quite good, with free parking. The basement is closed after 18:00 and is very safe. The hotel has a rich breakfast. It was raining, so we had dinner at the restaurant on the Grand Floor of the hotel. The taste was very good and I give it a 10. The price is about 5% higher than that of ordinary restaurants. The only problem is the traffic in Dublin. It is only 14KM from the hotel to the city center, but there are traffic jams everywhere. It takes an hour to drive one way.

There is no commercial facilities around the hotel, but there is a golf course nearby. There is a park about 500 meters away. The environment is beautiful, comfortable, pleasant and very quiet. The hotel breakfast is very rich and the coffee tastes good. The gym is well-equipped and the swimming pool is clean. The room is clean and tidy, with bottled water. The front desk service attitude is good, and the restaurant service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous. I will definitely stay here next time.

I never write reviews but I was really blown away with the Camden court. The staff were so polite & accommodating - particularly impressed with Mohammed, the young Albanian lad who was working behind the bar & restaurant & the ladies at the Thai massage place. The massages were unbelievable! The gym & spa were a lovely addition & made for a really fun & relaxing trip. We loved it so much we changed our flights to stay an extra night in Dublin! Wonderful city, made more wonderful by the people! Thanks again - we will be back!

The room is relatively spacious and is located on the edge of the city, suitable for self-driving travelers. The parking lot is large, the breakfast is average, the ingredients are good, and the coffee tastes good.

Stayed at the Bonnington Hotel and was greeted well but I was expecting a fridge in my room as the advert clearly states that a fridge would be available but I didn’t get one and after requesting several times I still didn’t get one. The parking attendant is also very rude and seems to be on the look out to cause issues for visitors. The parking was very busy and spaces are limited, be prepared to walk around the side of the hotel. BE WARNED OF THIS GUY!!

FFranc1sI stayed in a dormitory room and luckily it wasn’t too noisy during the night. The bed was clean and had power outlets, which was very convenient. I recommend bringing your own padlock for the locker, otherwise you’ll need to pay €4 to get one. The price is a bit high — €50 for one night in a dorm with around 30 people — but the location is excellent, right in the city center.

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

GGuest UserI think this will be a nice stay once their remodel is done, but wait until then. When booked initially, the reservation was for the Hard Rock Hotel. About a week and a half before I arrived, NYX acquired the building. We received no notification about this from either business. The hotel was slightly outdated and undergoing the beginnings of redecoration. The staff seemed to either be hired by NYX and unfamiliar with the hotel or previous employees who were unfamiliar with the new management’s policies. For example, the manual chain lock on my door had been disabled in both of our rooms and the staff at the desk didn’t seem to understand how it had happened. They did move me to a room with a working manual lock immediately, but didn’t seem to understand why I felt the need for one as a single woman in the room and assured me that the staff would respect my privacy. The person in the other room in our booking also had his disabled but didn’t want to bother moving. The next day, housekeeping barged into his room without waiting for an answer to her knock. The person inside was just finishing dressing. Other than that, it’s just little things that haven’t yet been worked out in the management change. For example their card scanners in the rooms and elevators seem to be new and still finicky, and the person at reception hadn’t read the laundry policy on the NYX laundry slips in the rooms. The slips specified it would be back by 6pm if picked up by 8am, but she said it might be the next day. She also had me bring the laundry down to the reception desk when the slip said it would be picked up. The staff was actually really great and when I pointed it out I did get same day laundry; it seemed like a new management miscommunication. Overall, I’d recommend staying here after they’ve had a chance to settle and remodel. They were already starting to take down the Hard Rock decorations and I suspect they will also redo the older and brightly colored carpets and walls. Since we didn’t receive any notifications about the new management and redecorating, I’m not sure there will be one about that either.

AAnonymous UserRiu Plaza Hotel in Dublin offers a comfortable and modern stay in a great location. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making for a relaxing visit. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the city centre, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and key attractions. Breakfast was a standout feature, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to suit different preferences. The service was efficient, even during busy times. Additionally, the hotel is great for business meetings, offering well-equipped conference facilities and a professional atmosphere. It also provides good value for money, considering the quality of service, amenities, and central location. Overall, Riu Plaza Hotel is a great choice for both business and leisure travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and affordability in Dublin.

GGuest UserThis may be unwarranted high praise, but we were coming off a crappy Airbnb situation. This place was awesome. The staff were super helpful. A special shout out to Gisele who magically appeared when we had issues and made them disappear. At this point in our trip we were used to things going wrong and she handled my group perfectly with professionalism and kindness. It's a bit out of the way of all the city action, but overall would recommend.

KKa W HoNo one reply my in-app message so I have to call. And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside. As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea! The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall. Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality. The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors. It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas. We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with. ROOM ✖️ Bidet/Toilet Shower ☑️ Powerful Shower ✖️ Separate Conditioner ✖️ Vanity Kit ✖️ Slippers ✖️ Bathrobe ☑️ Double Pillows ☑️ Kettle ✖️ Balcony/Terrace ✖️ Smart TV HOTEL ☑️ Well Appointed Reception Area ✖️ Professional Staff ☑️ Beautiful public areas ☑️ Good adjacent restaurants ☑️ Outdoor protected seating

GGuest UserWe stayed here on our last night of a two week Ireland vacation to be near the airport for an early flight. We arrived in the evening and no air conditioning in our room!!! No one told us at check-in and I do not recall seeing anything about no ac on the website when booking. I looked on the company website prior to booking in addition to Trip.com. I purposely looked at each of our accommodations for air conditioning. Staff told us they were updating the hotel and there was a sign in the elevator. Nope, no sign about air conditioning in the elevator. It was too late to find another hotel when we realized we would not have air. Of the two windows in our room, only one opened. We were lucky it was not too hot and left first thing in the morning to get out of there. Some communication would have been nice or at least apologies.
