Very convenient location. The room was very nice and clean, a little hot at night (there is air conditioning but unfortunately it hurts me to sleep with the air on). The structure is new and well maintained. It does not have parking so you have to wander around the surrounding streets a bit to find a place, but with a little patience you can find it. Overall we had a great time. Fantastic shower.
Hard rock is a big hotel so the bus stop is in front of is. However the bed got too soft because of heavy use. Hotel breakfast is on point, there are a lot of guests but still many choices of selection available.
La Palma is the greenest and most beautiful of the Canary Islands, hence its nickname, ”the beautiful island.” It has a diverse flora and its climate is spring/summer year-round. Interesting places? Many of them are its beaches, waterfalls, and forests. The laurel forest, the production of a Canarian rum distillery, gofio mills, and, best of all, its people. The parador is fantastic, as it's a typical La Palma building with its interior courtyard, where the spring microclimate is present, terraces, and a seafront restaurant with views. The Punta de Santa Cruz de la Palma and its well-maintained gardens with a waterfall, pond, and dragon trees facing the sea.
The service couldn't be better. We'll be back.
A charming, old-fashioned hotel in an isolated, spectacular location. Food in restaurant is authentic and excellent, even if the service is a bit slow. I stayed in 6 places in El Hierro, and no question this one is the top as regards international service standards. I had a room with a balcony and it was lovely, with the only annoyance for me being that all rooms seem to offer 2 twins beds and none with one double bed, which is pretty common among old-style Spanish hotels.
We had a very enjoyable stay in Ritz Carlton, from our check in to check out. Friendly helpful staff, room very comfortable with all necessary amenities . Room serviced twice a day with very helpful staff. Staff in breakfast dinning room working very hard ensuring no one waiting very long for table. Excellent choices for breakfast. Nice bar and made good cocktails. Pool area had adequate beds and pool attendants ensured towels were made available. Noticed paint around pool needed attention and looked worn looking.
I left my phone behind me at pool and through the find my phone app was able to trace it to security with the help of check in staff.
All in all a good impression of our short stay in Ritz Carlton.
Booked a full board and food was up to expectations. However do note that drinks (alcohol, soft drinks and even water) are charged separately even under full board. The bed in the room was adequate and had a great unobstructed view of the coast.
Me esperaba un poco más :-( las habitaciones no están muy insonorizadas. La comodidad de la cama mejorable y limpieza bastante justa para ser un hotel de esta categoria
The hotel is very well located, close to a bus stop, supermarkets, and restaurants. There's a free shuttle bus to Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. The breakfast was spectacular and plentiful. The pool was very clean and the water was a good temperature. They provide towels with a €10 deposit for the pool. There's live entertainment and/or music every night. All the staff were very friendly. It could use some renovations; the mattresses are sagging a bit. There's a free in-room safe. They have a complimentary shower, and you can use the pool on the day of checkout. There's a refrigerator in the room. It's quite noisy from the main avenue, so I suggest earplugs. I would definitely return.
Right on the waterfront. There was an upgrade to the room
Great plants and facility
Breakfast buffet great, but cafe not edible.
Lying on the pool chairs too close together... almost claustrophobic.
But otherwise everyone was very friendly
Very Good

GGuest UserMy 14 year old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights on a tight budget and it exceeded our expectations. This is a 2 star hotel so there are no luxuries but it was spotlessly clean and has a great pool. Yes it's up a hill but there is a public bus stop right outside and another a couple of minutes away which we used to get to Siam park and Monkey Park. We did however walk back from town a couple times and it honestly wasn't that bad.
We were self catering but did go to the buffet 1 night. There wasn't a big selection and it was basic but it did the job. There were burgers, hotdogs, pizza and chips at the pool bar which actually looked quite nice. We had an issue with our fridge which was leaking but I reported this to reception and they took care of it. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
My only real complaints were;
the noise from upstairs guests. Whilst the selfishness of others is not the hotels fault, the doors close really noisily and it rattles through the building. As there are no floor furnishings children running around at midnight literally sounds like a herd of elephants!!
There is an oven but it doesn't work. The rack has been removed and there are no trays leading me to believe it wasn't just faulty. However, I didn't speak to reception about it so I might be mistaken. Ultimately if these are my only complaints then that's not bad really!
I am a professional person and have travelled to many countries and stayed in 5 star hotels. Would I stay here again? On a budget, absolutely. Its a bit rough round the edges with some cracked tiles in public areas and chips in the bathroom enamel etc but I'm not one to let these things ruin my holiday. As long as you have realistic expectations, you won't be disappointed.
GGuest UserLovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by
Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out!
Pros:
Very good location
Modern hotel
Heated pools( wheelchair friendly)
Good food and service
Cons:
No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈
The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣
All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family
EEvieDarrellxOverall, I am very happy for what I paid (just over £200 for 5 days, all inclusive).
The staff were not always the friendliest and I noticed the animation team only speaking to particular guests and not interacting so much with others. This did not bother me personally though.
The themed restaurant is excellent, and the taxis are a good touch! Only points to note on the themed restaurant though are the booking is for 8:30pm, and they turned the lights off and were encouraging us out by 9:25. Also another couple had come in and sat down with their food. They were asked to move to the other restaurant which they did, and I assumed they would take their food over given they had plated up. Instead, the waiter scraped all their plates into the bin which seemed a real shame and waste of food, and raised a few eyebrows. (The restaurant was only around 25% full and no further bookings so they weren’t taking up space).
The food overall is more than ok for the price paid, even if repeating. The drinks choices were good - I just wish the cups were bigger particularly for soft drinks so you’re not needing to refill as often.
I was kindly given a late check out free of charge which was great.
Corridors and outside are very loud until late - again this didn’t bother me personally as I struggle to sleep anyway.
More than happy for what I paid but if I was paying the peak season prices I’d think a little more
FFabio MarchesaniBeautiful resort, stylish and relaxing. I had a front pool room and was perfect apart they don’t have queen or king size bedrooms.
I slept very bad, the 2 single beds (not even attached to each other) and pillows are very uncomfortable.
Hope they’ll invest in comfort , I would definitely come back.
GGuest UserMagnicico albergo in posizione panoramica.
HHUIHUAVery suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The Chinese boss behind the scenes is super enthusiastic about us every time we eat After sending a large glass of wine, take a 7-minute taxi ride from the center of the dunes
GGuest UserIdeally located in quiet part close to old town as well as the *****. Two pool areas (one with shallow kids pool) and food available by larger pool -also small dining area just past reception (good selection for breakfast).
Pool table for older kids and small playground for toddlers onsite.
Very clean complex and friendly staff. Fully equipped kitchenette and lovely powerful shower in bathroom which I loved!
Close to lots of shops and restaurants, but relatively steep stroll downhill to beach, fine for us but could be a workout with buggy or if any mobility issues. There was on street parking outside if hiring a car. Lots of taxis around if not! We enjoyed exploring the local areas on foot after a day of sightseeing…some great restaurants close by in the old town.
No air con in the apartment that we could see (but we didn’t ask either as we stated at end January so 24 Celsius and pleasant indoors and out) - recommend checking if going at peak times.
Pools weren’t heated but nice for a dip- clean and lifeguards on duty at both between 9:30 and 6pm.
Relaxing short break at lovely complex, we’ll be back!
DDouglas JamesWe arrived just as the hotel was subject to a power cut. The young guy receptionist took us to the room as our door keys would not work due to the electricity outage. The electricity came back on in reception about 5 minutes later but someone had to go room to room to reset each rooms supply. Some 2 hours later after having sat in the dark unable to unpack and several tracks to reception and being told we were priority we gave up and went out to dinner in the clothes we travelled in after a 4 hour 30 minutes flight. Other hotels were affected in the same street apparently.
Once this issue was sorted by the time we got back from dinner everything was great. Lovely breakfast, lovely room with Molton Brown shower gel, shampoo and hand soap and lotion. Lovely pool and no issue getting sun beds. Short walk to the beach and dunes but a lot of steps up and down. Also 10 minute walk to Yumbo shopping centre which had everything you needed from great shops to excellent restaurants and bars. Great place for LGBTQ to meet up and great place to people watch.
Definitely recommend
Sschere riveraWe are repeaters of this apartment, we love and what more your close workers careful and friendly, make you feel like at home, we always advise you :) the only stick that would wear is that there are few shadows and hams to the number of customers who has the apartments.
