We stayed 3 nights . The hostel location is a best . It near to Interlaken OST . Nearby with Coop supermarket . Staying here u will feel young and vibrant as hostel full of people . We do enjoy our stay, especially we can enjoy food in the same pantry @ level 1. Sometimes we do share our food . Example I bought extra eggs from coop, I can offer to someone / couple . It’s really good culture of sharing food and not waste it . The stay include hotel breakfast . Location - best . I prefer staying in interlaken OST instead of west Breakfast- good . With bread, yogurt , hams, eggs . Personally I loved the chocolate drink Room- we are lucky to have a double room with own bathroom . Our room is corner room, it bigger space for me to put 2 luggage Noise - yes. As it’s near the train station. To us, it’s ok even the windows is open during night time . As there’s no aircon or fan in the room Bathroom- standard . U need to prepare your own toiletries. Except the 2 in 1 bath shower/ hair Towel - yes u can change your towel with hostel counter staff Hair dryer - upon request . Do put deposit Ensure you made your own bed. Tidy the place .

Location wise, nothing much to critique as it’s situated right beside the train station. You can’t get anything more convenient than this. We like the modern design of the room, generally. The only negative point we experienced was the smell. There was a smell (smells like pee) inside the room but surprisingly not the toilet. Toilet actually smells better than the room. Ventilation was poorly managed, I guess. And the staff said there’s nothing they could do about it and to my biggest surprise, the hotel does not have an air freshener at all! Contrary to those reviews saying how good the breakfast is, I find it quite disappointing. Food selection is so limited and the quality wasn’t better or even on par with the typical hotel breakfast standard. Here I would like to commend on a particular staff named Iulia (not sure if I spell it correctly). She is nice, friendly and accommodating. I would like to thank her for her hospitality. Overall, I would probably come back to stay again at Essential for its perfect location.

We stay here for 4 nights with a group of friends. It is not far from Interlaken West station (lee than 10 minutes walk) It has nice room, comfy bed but a little soft and fluffly pillow. The location is quite good, near supermarket and restaurants. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. It provide a lot of amenities with 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. Also have common room for guest's leisure and have some snacks.

The hotel is just across the road from Interlaken West station. So, it's extremely convenient especially if you're catching an early train. The hotel also issue free bus & train transport card within Interlaken and between Interlaken Ost & West stations. The toilet comes with body shampoo. There are also 6 USB ports for charging your devices in the room. Though the rooms are next to the street, the window and balcony door are double glazed, which keeps out the noise. There's aircon in the room but you don't really need it in winter, the fee to turn on the air-conditioning is CHF20. Breakfast is just average, nothing interesting here.

The hotel just located nearby Terminal Station which really convenient. Although it mentioned that no breakfast provided during booking, but upon checked with hotel receptionist, breakfast was provided. If you need hot water, you may boiled it at the common area.

The breakfast is nice but it’s only open at 7am hence it’s quite rush if you have early activity which you have to leave the hotel early e.g to go to Jung frau.

Very convenience hotel just infront of the grindlewald train station, highly recommend for the who want get easy access to train station! Hotel room with eiger peak view was awsome and the breakfast selection of food is great !

The room was great and a very good cost saving room rates as compared to other Hotels within that commercial area. The location is walking distance from the Interlaken West and OST Train Stations. It is strategically located in between Train stations. So if you love walking even with luggages with rollers/tires, 600 meters to 700 meters walk to the station would be a lot of fun. The service was also great. Katya and her team are very helpful and friendly. Restaurants, convenient stores COOP, Coffee shops, groceries, pharmacies and many more are very close by. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this Hotel is the way to go.

We stayed in the gallery apt 10 which was the perfect size for our family. The hotel is located close to the train station and in the heart of everything. The apartments are actually in the building behind the hotel but we thought that worked out better than being on the main street. The staff was always nice. The breakfast was the same everyday but that was okay with us because we just wanted to eat quickly to get to our adventures! Now here are the pros and cons in our opinion! Pros: -ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEW FROM THIS APARTMENT 10! We sat outside on our balcony every evening and just marveled at the beauty of the mountains. -Love the balcony -Having the small kitchen was very nice especially to go to COOP and get some food, drinks, snacks - Breakfast included - Bathroom was nice - Apartment was clean Cons: - There is no air conditioning so if it's warm then you must keep the windows open. Unfortunately, you do hear noise from the hotel restaurants nearby. However, everything seems to quiet down by 10:30. - Our son ended up sleeping in the bed upstairs because my husband and I were very concerned about going up/down the stairs inside the apartment. They were unusually shaped. I would definitely recommend staying here especially in the apartments.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, had the pleasure of staying there for five days. It was a very quiet hotel hardly heard a any noise, the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Excitement when we booked the hotel: five stars hotel, a restaurant with 14 points on Gault & Millau, spa and gorgeous views over the Eiger mountain. But disappoin**ent when we arrived. Nobody to greet us or help us with the luggage. The tables on the garden next to the entrance were covered of empty packs of cigarettes and overflowing ashtrays. When we arrived at the front desk, there was only one person, who took care of the couple of friends that were travelling with us, and suddenly a guy appeared that seemed to have just jumped out of bed and hastily took our luggage. As check-in was not until 3 PM, we went out to enjoyed the day. Came back a 2:50 PM and the room still wasn’t available because check-in was at 3 as the front desk person repeated. I would have hoped that 10 minutes to 3, the room would be ready… I was told to wait in the lobby. No drinks. No service. At that point I really was not feeling welcome. The tables in the lobby were covered in dirty cups everywhere. After 10 minutes, I go to the front desk and finally can get checked in. This is when I am handed a pass for public transports and a discount voucher for the ski pass. Would have been more useful in the morning that when the day was over. I then go to the room: no luggage. I had to phone the front desk to get it delivered. The view was as promised: gorgeous! The room however, very meh. It had a vibe of the early 90’s. Carpet’s colours washed off by the sun. Outdated furbishing, bathroom included. Cheap plastic ashtray turned upside down on the balcony that was covered in a fake grass carpet. Certainly not worth 660 CHF a night (ca. 700 USD). We had booked a massage a few weeks prior, lucky for us they changed our slot but we still had our trea**ent. Our friends however, booked in August and the hotel cancelled without any notification because a massage therapist was sick and they reallotted the slot my friends booked to someone else. The gastronomic restaurant was supposed to be closed but our friends managed to get a 7-course menu organized. We were all very excited but disappointed as the dishes got served. First dish was so small we thought it was an amuse-bouche. Then we had a mere soup that was so sweet, it could have been a dessert. And then a scoop of passion fruit ice-cream. I will not mention all the dishes, but the menu was really uneventful and unworthy of a 14 Gault & Millau restaurant. Also no explanation provided about the dishes when they were getting served. At that stage, we suspected it was not the food of the gastronomic restaurant, but they served us the same menu they were serving the night before for New Year’s Eve. Menu with wine turned out to be 230 CHF (ca. 250 USD) per person. Pretty hefty for what we got. After dinner we went to the lobby’s bar for a last drink. Again, the table was dirty and I had to ask the waitress to clean it. Check-out the next day was also very laborious with a guy with messed up hair, again, not a good image for a

The new, with much love designed rooms and rooms, the details throughout the house, the flower splendour – unique. Kitchen and service were excellent. We wish the entire team many happy guests. Wonderful hotel experience! We stayed there during our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a room with a gorgeous view. The staff was very helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We booked directly on the website and were offered welcome iced tea when we arrived. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We stayed during a heat wave so it was quite hot without air conditioning, however overall would recommend when its cooler outside.

The guestroom was good, very clean & hotel amenities ”Pure Herbs” was very good. Front office staff & Housekeeping was kind to provide a few more additional bottles for our 3 nights stay. Our room was facing the road but we had very quiet & peaceful rest. The view from the window was breathtaking. The staff at the restaurant provide excellent service and took care of us very well during our stay. We will definitely come back to stay again when in Interlaken. The location of the hotel can be access by bus 103 from both Interlaken west & Interlaken ost train stations or a 15 mins walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Very convenient. Easy to locate. However, it will not be the place for the budget conscious. You are in Switzerland anyway, pamper yourself to the high ”quality of life”

Our stay here when traveling from the U.S. was perfect. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was breathtaking. The location can’t be beat, with stunning views of Jungfrau, right in the heart of the main entertainment area, and walkable with luggage to either rail station. (Interlaken West a better walk because there was construction to and from Ost) the staff were friendly and attentive to every detail from check-in to check out. Just a flawless experience at a lovely, clean, well appointed hotel.

We stayed at the Krebs hotel for 1 night in May23 & it was the best hotel (out of the 5 hotels) we stayed in Switzerland! Rooms: We booked for 2 single rooms & we were very pleased that we were upgraded to 2 double rooms. The rooms were spacious & one of them even have a balcony. The rooms were surprisingly modern, which was contrasted to the reception & dining room downstairs. The mattresses were medium firm & the beds were big for 1 person. Bathrooms were lovely too & flush in the toilet bowl was strong. The room had provided all amenities such as toothbrush, slippers...etc. We were on the top floor & the rooms were quiet, our sleeps were great! Location: The hotel is just 3 mins walk to the Interlaken West bus, train & ferry stations. McDonald's & Coop are just 1 -2 mins walk from the hotel. Service: Pre arrival service was excellent. We asked for 2 rooms next to each other & on a higher floor, they basically granted all our requests & also upgraded us to the bigger rooms too. Reception was helpful & friendly upon our arrival, which made us evenly happy as we had just arrived in Switzerland that day. Breakfast: For hot food, they had hash brown (in spring rolls shape), scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages. For cold food, they had everything that you'd expect to find for a continental breakfast, plus plenty of yoghurt, fruits, & juice as well. Breakfast was tasty & foods were refilled quickly. Overall, despite the old decoration downstairs & across the hotel, the hotel was fantastic, in terms of sleeping quality, room size, service, location, & breakfast. The only downside was the Wi-Fi as it kept losing connection throughout the night. We will 100% come back upon our next visit to Interlaken & will highly recommend it to everyone.

My pre-requisite for booking any Interlaken hotel for our stay was a minimum 4 star, sauna and a double bed. I love saunas and for me after my daily exercise program a hot sauna is perfect to relax! Your reception staff were excellent on arrival. When I enquired about the sauna, she explained that as long as I notify reception, I can request a sauna at any time. On day one I had a fabulous 86-degree sauna at 7.30am, it was great to have a “proper” heater and not the infra-red heater that are so common nowadays and to relax afterwards in your solarium area. The only comment was the glass door is a real struggle to close and requires attention. On day 2, at around 5.30pm I went to reception to request a 6.30 am sauna the following morning, the male receptionist was attending to a customer. Whilst I was happy to wait , one of his colleagues , the porter asked if he could help me. I explained that I wished to have a sauna the following morning at 6.30 .. He said he would ensure a message was left for the sauna to be ready for me. At 6.30 the following morning I proceeded to the sauna and wellness area to find a cold sauna. The ”double bed” in 101 is shocking- It is 2 single beds pushed together with a double sheet over the top of the two singles. There was a huge depression between the two beds . The bed looks like a roller coaster ! So much for a double bed to snuggle up to my wife in bed ☹ Breakfast overall was very good. The selection is amazing , the fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, and much more ..it did have the wow factor however the bacon and sausage were sat in a pool of fat or oil. (Many of the better hotels tend to put a few slices of bread under the bacon and sausage to soak the excess fat or oil up.) 10/10 for the fabulous Christmas decorations ! I do make a point of reviewing any place that delivers exceptional customer service as much as those that disappoint.

Elegant hotel, just a short walk of 5 minutes away from interlaken west hotel. Bathtub and amenities were superb. Good breakfast too!

Although the room is small, it has complete supporting facilities. The furnishings that are not convenient to unfold make full use of the wall. The small space takes into account the wardrobe, desk, a small coffee table and double bed. It is a very exquisite design and meets the quality of a professional hotel. The self-service area on the first floor has coffee, drinking water and microwave ovens for easy use. The reception staff is warm and friendly. The only drawback is that the smell of the hotel's cheese hot pot runs through the entire corridor at night, which is a bit of a headache for those who don't like it.

We stayed at Hapimag resort for 3 nights. The resort is 12 minutes of walk from Interlaken Ost station. There is a bus stop right in front of hotel as well. The apartments are very spacious. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was quite spacious. The living area and balconies were huge. There were plenty of towels in the apartment and you could still get more from reception if you needed for pool etc. Hotel also has a temperature controlled pool, an adventure pool and steam/sauna rooms. All fun facilities to enjoy at the end of a tiring day or when its raining outside. There are plenty of restaurants at walking distance. We had a garden view apartment and the view from balcony was beautiful. On a clear day, you could see the Jungfrau mountain from balcony. Checkout process was smooth and fast. Reception staff was well informed and helpful. Overall a very good stay. Things that could be better The decor of the apartment was somewhat underwhelming. Things like balcony flooring, and bathroom tiles were somewhat basic. They were clean but not much color or design. Bathroom tiles were plain white, balcony flooring was basic cement and the whole apartment had like two small paintings. They could do a bit more in terms of decor and make it feel more like a 4 star property. Also, our apartment was not quite ready when we checked in. It appears that there was a last moment change of rooms and sofa cum bed was not converted to bed in this apartment. We informed the front desk and the lady present immediately got into action. It took an additional 30 minutes or so to get it all ready from there.

We were hiking from Schynige platte til First, and had clearly underestimated the hike and perhaps overestimated our own ability. When we reached First, the gondola down to Grindelwald was closed (for anyone else, please note that they close it rather early (17:30-18:00-ish) considering how long a hike it is from Schynige Platte, and start as early as possible, since it takes quite some time to even reach Schynige Platte with the mountain train from Wilderswil). We called the hotel, to let them know, that we were coming but it would take some time, as we had to walk down from First on very sore legs. Steffie from the reception (sorry if this is not the correct spelling of your name) was incredible kind, and tried to help us as best as possible, and directed us to the hotel halfway down, where we could try to call for a taxi. We made it to the hotel, and as luck would have it, a taxi pulled in at the same time, as it was driving some people up to the hotel up there. If you should happen to end up in the same situation, try calling a taxi and see if they will go all the way up to First. It should be possible but will of course cost a bit to get them up there. The hike down to the hotel halfway down was quite steep, so hard on the knees. We were delighted to crawl into the taxi and get driven all the way to the hotel door. Here we met Steffie, who kindly offered to open up the spa area just for us, as it had closed before we were able to reach the hotel, and would not open until after we had to check out the next day. We were too tired at that point, and were in stead allowed to go in the spa the next day, despite having checked out at that point. We ordered some food from Steffie and got it sent up to our room, and enjoyed a meal, a nice bath and a comfortable bed. The next day, we enjoyed a very nice breakfast with champagne. Best of all was the employee cooking up omelets on order at the breakfast bar. We checked out. Stored our luggage at the hotel and went for a walk in town, before heading back to the hotel and enjoying the spa after it had opened. Steffie provided us with a key to the spa, and we were then lucky enough to be able to enjoy the spa all to ourselves. Definitely recommend using it when it opens up around noon if you have the opportunity. The infinity pool was just amazing in the sunlight and with the mountains in the background. The Belvedere exceeded all I hoped for in the usual issues like cleanliness, friendly helpful staff, and assisting in planning adventures in the region. What went well above my hopes was the entire staff's attitude toward the dietary restrictions for my travel partner. There is no information concerning availability of gluten-free meals contained in Belvedere's information BUT I have never seen such a positive and cheerful attitude by a staff. If you are or are travelling with someone who is gluten challenged, you absolutely must stay here. Once we talked with the restaurant staff for the initial meal (dinner) they would have gluten free foods and options already prepared for every other meal before we could even ask. We will be returning to this area and will always stay at the Belvedere.

The pinnacle, quite literally, of our Swiss trip was in the beautiful alpine village of Grindelwald. The Konzett family runs their historic, charming boutique hotel in the heart of the village, convenient to everything including the train station. The hotel is a thoughtfully appointed, subtly luxurious hotel with super friendly and professional staff. This was the first European trip for our grandchildren, and the staff made certain it would be a trip of a lifetime for them. The Hotel Kreuz & Post was the perfect choice for both the adults and children. The staff is top drawer--professional, kind, extra accommodating and everything you would expect in a luxury hotel. Highest recommendation for an authentic stay in the Swiss Alps. Kudos to all the Konzetts and staff!

This hotel can score 100 points. First of all, Grindelwald is the most convenient and most suitable place to stay in the entire Jungfrau region. This hotel is also very good. The bus stop is free of charge at the bus stop and free mountain bike rental. Although the pool is small but the scenery is invincible, the breakfast is superior to other Swiss restaurants. The parking space is sufficient and free. Except for the expensive price, the others are perfect. Oh, it is my problem.

The room layout is very local. The hotel is in a good location, with beautiful environment and complete facilities. The mini bar in the room is free on the first night, which is a surprise.

This is an accommodation that made me cry and laugh during my trip to Switzerland :) First of all, if you look at the facilities, it is clean and nice since it was recently opened. There was an elevator and a kitchen available, but there were almost no dishes or appliances. There was no problem with cooking at all. The location is a very far walk from Grindelwald Station, or a short bus ride away. 🌟Throw away the idea of ​​walking with your luggage on the first day.🌟 This is a vertical hike that you can never climb without carrying your luggage. Be sure to check the bus schedule before taking the bus (it's convenient to use the SBB app). Your accommodation will give you a Grindelwald guest card, so you can ride the bus for free. (I had a Jungfrau VIP coupon, so I didn’t use it.) The reasons I cried were: 1) As soon as I arrived, there was no one, so I called and waited for about an hour, but no one answered and didn't come. There were people staying, so I had to wait in the lobby. I had another number on my laptop, so I called, but no one answered. 2) While I was waiting, a man called and asked why I was calling. When I told him I wanted to check in, he said I was fully booked for today, so what did I mean? I told him my reservation number and he said he would understand. Later, he came running in from outside and asked for my passport. Didn't say a single word of apology. (I was very angry here.) Anyway, in conclusion, he said that there was a reservation history on Trip.com but not in his system, so he had me check it and said he would do something about it since there were no rooms available. However, his attitude was not that he was sorry and was trying to do something, but rather that he was annoyed with me. 3) In the end, they gave us our room keys condescendingly, as if they had made it very difficult for us to get a room, and we were very upset that they were sorry for waiting for an hour and that there was no compensation, but we wanted to rest in the room quickly, so we brought the keys up. However, as shown in the picture, they gave me a room without a terrace... Obviously, the room I paid for had a terrace on the reservation screen, and I made the reservation with that in mind, so when I went to argue with them, they said that the room I had reserved was that room. (I was told that it was given to me because I had created a room, but when I went down and inquired, I found out that the room was originally assigned...) 4) Then, while showing a picture of the reservation screen on 'Booking.com', he enthusiastically emphasizes that the room may or may not have a terrace. The problem is that I paid through 'Trip.com' and the room type I booked on Trip.com is not available. All photos showed a terrace. When I said that, he got very angry and told me to cancel it for free and to leave if I didn't like it. To be honest, these words sounded very threatening to me, and I was so intimidated by the man's attitude that I was afraid that he might do something to me. I sometimes wonder if they are speaking in such a threatening manner because I am a woman and Asian. [I notified Booking.com's customer service center of my move, and now the reservation screen for the room I selected also includes a photo of a room without a terrace.] Anyway, for this reason, I started my trip to Switzerland very angry and depressed. ㅠ ㅠ This room does not have a terrace and has a tree view, as someone left in a Google review... lol Next time I go again, I think I'll just choose the room one level up because I'm worried about getting this room. Also, the toilet and bathroom were attached together, so it was shared by 3 rooms. Please note.

The hotel is a four-star hotel, the waiters are dressed in traditional clothes, the breakfast is delicious, and the coffee is very good. There is a free snack in the afternoon, but the drinks are paid. The hotel is located inside, some distance from the railway station, and it is Panshan Road. If you carry the suitcase, it is best to take the bus or contact the hotel in advance.

Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable.
