Regarding the pick-up and drop-off service at Linfen West Station: The pick-up service was good, but when I booked it, they didn't ask for my order name or other details for verification, which seemed a bit unprofessional and indicated a slight lack of management. Also, when I arrived at West Station, no one contacted me until I called the hotel, and then the driver finally got in touch. There was a customer who needed a ride to the station, and I had to wait a bit. It would have been good to be informed about this beforehand so I knew what to expect. While understandable, not being told leaves customers unsure of the situation. The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all pretty good. However, I hope management strengthens oversight on some of the food and water items. Don't provide items with a very long shelf life; customers might be hesitant to consume them, which leaves a bad impression.

I booked this hotel in advance for our May Day holiday trip to Taiyuan. It's an established five-star hotel, and both the facilities and service are top-notch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It's super convenient to get to, right outside Exit A2 of Changfeng Street Station on Metro Line 2. Plus, it's next to Tianmei Xintiandi, a bustling commercial area, and taxis are always easy to find. We visited Zhonglou Street, Liuxiang, Jinci Temple, Tianlong Mountain, and the Shanxi Museum, and honestly, there's nothing to complain about except that some of the furniture feels a bit dated compared to newer hotels. Otherwise, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at Kempinski again next time I'm in Taiyuan.

Traveling to Datong with my parents and children, as soon as we got out of the car, a security guard (Shi Lei) opened the door for us, insisting we didn't touch it ourselves. The lobby manager also seamlessly took our luggage. Maybe it wasn't peak season yet, but check-in was smooth. However, I didn't see the welcome fruit mentioned in other reviews. We bought some fruit ourselves, and the staff helped peel it and sent it back to our room. We could also ask for more bottled water if needed. Since we were going to the Hanging Temple the next day, we requested a packed breakfast with bread and milk, which was enough to fill us up. On the third day, the breakfast in the restaurant was very rich. I'd like to commend the ladies in the restaurant (Zhang Xiaoqing, Cao Xiaolin) as well; seeing that my child hadn't eaten much, they even offered to pack a bread for us. The complimentary bathhouse tickets weren't wasted either; it wasn't crowded, and it felt much more satisfying than showering in the room. After the bath, the ladies (Zhang Limei, Jiang Jinlian) brought us water and towels; they were so enthusiastic. Overall, all the staff members were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the facilities are a bit dated, I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Datong.

The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the cleanliness was exceptional – every nook and cranny was spotless, which was very reassuring. The location is also fantastic; after visiting the clinic, it was convenient to stroll along Liuxiang and Zhonglou Street. All the staff were so welcoming and promptly helped with any small requests, which was incredibly thoughtful. The zero-pressure mattress was super soft and didn't bother me at all, allowing me to get a good night's rest. As a result, I had plenty of energy to spend with my child the next day. The facilities are quite new overall, and I really can't find anything to fault. Highly recommended!

When spring arrives, if you're arriving late, it's recommended to book your hotel in advance to secure a parking spot. The hotel is actually a bit of a distance from the ancient city. You can enjoy takeout from several long-standing restaurants directly on the first floor of the hotel. The room facilities are new and smart, offering views of the courtyard outside the window. Getting to the Yungang Grottoes is very convenient.

I was in this city again for a business trip and decided to stay here. When we checked in, the hotel told us that the hotel next door was under renovation and it would affect our rest during the day. Actually, it didn't bother me much, as we weren't in our rooms during the day anyway. Now, let me talk about the environment. The hotel has a warm, wood-toned design, the lobby is bright and inviting, and the rooms have smart home controls, which are convenient and easy to use. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable! Just outside the hotel, there are convenient restaurants and shops along the street, and it's also close to the bus station, making transportation easy. I'm very satisfied with my stay here!

We had a late pickup from the train station and were very warmly welcomed. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, and the next day we were even brought back to the station. The hotel is located right in the center of the old town, so all major sights and restaurants are just a short walk away. The location is perfect for exploring the historic Pingyao old town while still being able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere in the evening. We had a really great stay in Pingyao. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and very attentive. The staff speaks English, which made communication easy and pleasant. We especially liked that breakfast was even brought to our room.

My child's college entrance exam venue was near the hotel, and right from check-in, the front desk assigned me a quieter room based on my request. This was my first time staying in the Liuxiang commercial district in my hometown of Taiyuan, and it was a fantastic experience. This hotel offers incredible value for money among local hotels. The room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and the adjustable lighting is particularly worth recommending.

Stayed for 3 nights, 4 days. The hotel is conveniently located and features a traditional Chinese decor, with a spacious and bright lobby. The high-floor views are excellent, and the overall experience was fantastic. Upon arrival, we were offered a complimentary late-night snack and fresh fruit daily. Room service was very attentive; housekeeping and food delivery were both great. Since Datong has been quite dry lately, they even provided pear soup daily. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the lamb offal noodles were particularly delicious. I would definitely choose Howard Johnson again on my next visit to Datong.

First time in Yuncheng, and Novotel pleasantly surprised us! The front desk, restaurant, and room service were all excellent. Check-in was super quick. We booked two rooms, and they kindly arranged for them to be next to each other. They even gave us lots of snacks and fruit. It was Labor Day, so the hotel was really busy, but they opened an extra restaurant for breakfast during peak hours, which was great. The service there was just as good, showing their excellent contingency planning for busy times. Our rooms were cleaned promptly every day, and they replenished the 6 bottles of mineral water without fail. A very satisfying trip overall!
