Undoubtedly, this is the best hotel. It was a shame that there was construction going on, but from certain angles, I could still take photos without any issues, so I was personally very satisfied. I was traveling alone this time, but I really enjoyed the pool, kayaking, and SUP without worrying about others watching. I'm so glad I went! 🥰

I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest option with airport transfer, perfect for a rest before my late-night flight and to store my luggage. I didn't have high expectations due to the low price, but when I entered the room, the air conditioning was already on and it was wonderfully cool! I really appreciate that they had the room cooled down before check-in. The bathroom was average. The shower curtain was discolored, so I probably wouldn't have wanted to use the shower, but since I wasn't staying overnight, it didn't matter. The airport transfer times weren't flexible; I had to choose between 7:00 PM and 8:40 PM. I picked 7:00 PM, which was perfect as I got to enjoy the night market a bit and still had time for the airport lounge. The transfer shuttle was also very nice. It was definitely worth it just for the taxi fare alone. I highly recommend this place if you just need it for a short rest!

I booked this hotel after finding out on YouTube that they offer free airport transfers. I rebooked when the price dropped closer to my stay. At the airport, someone was waiting with a name board. They were a bit further back, but seeing my name board was reassuring. The driver was so kind; when I mentioned the beautiful mosque at night, they even made a short stop for me, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was a simple buffet. The shower enclosure had a proper door that closed, making it easy to use. One thing to note is that the air conditioning in the room turns off completely when you remove the room key, so it can get stuffy when you first enter. Surprisingly, there were quite a few Japanese guests. The laundry near Brunei Hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk away. The sidewalks and traffic lights made it an easy walk. If you walk along the river, you'll find water villages and boats soliciting for monkey tours. Fridays are a good day for a water tour since many shops and mosques are closed. This hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and is reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Badiah Hotel during our visit to Brunei! One of the highlights was the airport pickup service, especially since we arrived late in the evening. Everything went smoothly, and we did not have to worry about figuring out how to get to the hotel after our flight. Mr Degan is very friendly! The complimentary breakfast buffet was also a big plus, with a great selection of food to choose from. It saved us time and made our mornings more convenient since we did not have to look for other places to eat breakfast. The reception staff were nice, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We also appreciated how our room was kept clean and tidy every day while we were out exploring Brunei. Another convenient feature is the supermarket right beside the hotel, where you can easily buy extra bottled water, snacks, and other essentials. The hotel is also within easy reach of several landmarks and tourist attractions, and getting around was convenient with the Dart app. Overall, Badiah Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for travelers who want to explore Brunei without too much hassle. We truly appreciated the friendly service, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities that made our trip more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brunei!

The hotel provides complimentary airport transfer which is very convenient! Also located near to JP theme park and food court! Food is quite yummy , very affordable price even for room service. Overall, a pleasant stay. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool!

Great location with excellent amenities nearby. **Facilities**: The rooftop pool is a nice touch, and the hotel feels very new. Overall, it offers great value for money. The only downside for fitness enthusiasts is that the 'gym' is a gym in name only. The few pieces of equipment they have are placed outdoors! Given the temperature in Brunei, even if you don't mind the equipment, you'd likely suffer from heatstroke after a workout.🥵

We stayed at Embun in Brunei and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to key attractions, and the sea views and surrounding trees were perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. What truly set Embun apart were the hosts, Diana and Jimi. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Diana anticipated our preferences, arranged excellent local recommendations, and made check‑in seamless with a friendly, professional manner. Jimi’s local knowledge was invaluable — from arranging transport to sharing insights about hidden gems around Brunei. Both were always available without ever being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and sincere hospitality. The food recommendations and small personal touches (welcome refreshments, spotlessly clean bathrooms, and prompt responses to requests) made us feel well cared for throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Brunei and want a comfortable, restful base with hosts who make you feel like a valued guest, Embun with Diana and Jimi is highly recommended. We’ll happily return.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, yet only about a ten-minute drive from the airport. The receptionists were very polite and even helped with luggage. The facilities are decent, with a gym, spa, pool, and restaurant all available. It's worth noting that bottled water is not provided due to environmental considerations.

I was also impressed by the hotel's prompt service. As I was unfamiliar with the air-conditioning controls in my room, I contacted the front desk for assistance. Two maintenance staff members arrived within just a few minutes, helped me to reset the air-conditioning system, and patiently showed me how to adjust the temperature. The quick response and friendly assistance were greatly appreciated. The room and hotel facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a full day of exploring Brunei. I loved the comfort of the hotel. It's super well-located, very close to the main attractions on foot. The staff were friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very varied, and the Yelo restaurant right next door had lots of food and friendly staff.
