Both were always available without ever being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and sincere hospitality. The food recommendations and small personal touches (welcome refreshments, spotlessly clean bathrooms, and prompt responses to requests) made us feel well cared for throughout our stay. Wonderful staff and useful airport transfers, but the hotel needs a complete renovation The strongest part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely willing to help with absolutely everything. Their attitude made a huge difference, and we are very grateful to the entire team! The hotel also provides complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, which was extremely convenient. We received a room upgrade, and the staff brought drinking water and fresh linen to the room. Coffee and tea supplies were replenished every day as well. Unfortunately, the building and rooms are extremely outdated, and cleanliness was a serious problem. The hotel clearly needs deep cleaning, better maintenance and a major renovation. Despite the excellent service and useful amenities, the poor condition of the property made the stay much less comfortable. Thank you again to the wonderful staff — you were truly the best part of this hotel.

The Empire Brunei truly exceeded my expectations, highly recommended! The breakfast buffet offered an incredible variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, all made with fresh, delicious ingredients – every meal was incredibly satisfying. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, clean, and comfortably laid out, making for a truly relaxing stay. The hotel grounds are huge, with lush greenery and stunning ocean views. It's a quiet and therapeutic environment. The outdoor pool has crystal clear water and faces the sea directly, perfect for swimming and photos. Just a few steps away is the beach, ideal for leisurely walks and watching the sunset. My entire stay was flawless, with thoughtful service and excellent facilities. You absolutely must stay here if you visit Brunei!

Overall a good option for a budget stay in BWN, hotel offers complimentary airport pickup and drop which is a really good facility to have, as grab etc do not work in BWN ( you can download Dart through ) Hotel also offer a city bus tour ( excl Friday ) Location of the hotel is perfect for seeing the main sights ( highlife in pics ) and most things are walkable in that area , it’s literally around the corner from the Radisson and the Brunie hotel so if you want their location but on a budget then this is a good option Rooms are clean and serve their purpose but offer nothing beyond what s standard room would but that’s reflected in the price , I would stay again when in BWN

The best part only swimming pool.. my kid was playing alone, during Ramadhan it seems not many kids were around playing and swimming. Unfortunately, i a bit late to book for sungkai buffet at this hotel, it was already full. and for Sahur buffet, it was not ofered during the 1st week of Ramdhan.. So, actually we came here, it was just for the swimming pool.

The reception lady was lovely and professional. She verified all the required details promptly and, shared some useful information within the hotel and nearby attractions. The room is pretty standard, comes with the necessary in-room amenities and the air-conditioning was NICE. The environment was pretty neat, no loud noises from the street nor from the air-conditioning. Location of the hotel is ideal. It is near some of the main attractions, while furtherest is about a 15 minutes car ride. Breakfast buffet (at an additional fee) is alright, mainly international cuisine. Tried their in-house restaurant and in-room dining. Food was delicious and affordable. All of the staffs I have came across and interacted were extremely friendly and positive. Nothing much to be picky for this hotel.

This is a little outdated but very well maintained and clean hotel. Buffet breakfast offers a lot of choices, especially deserts.The hotel is located in a very busy shopping area and it's difficult to find a parking spot because hotel doesn't have it's own parking lot except for several spots in front of the main entrance.

Good value for money and a comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was also convenient for getting around Brunei. The only downside was that the shared bathrooms could be cleaner, as they were sometimes a bit dirty. Aside from that, everything else was satisfactory, and I enjoyed my stay overall.
