The location is not the best thing about this hotel, and at first it is a little difficult to learn how to get to and from the hotel, but it is connected to the center by several bus lines, less than a 10-minute walk away. There is also a supermarket quite close, but no restaurants nearby. The day we arrived we opted to have dinner at the hotel and the truth is that the food was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. The area is very quiet and you can rest very well.

The rooms are clean and have all basic facilities such as a good bed, air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities and a functional bathroom. Not overly luxury, but exactly what you need for a comfortable stay.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and provides a smooth check-in and a guest-friendly atmosphere. In the restaurant you can rightly enjoy a good dinner and a simple but tasteful breakfast. Also nice: the bar is still open for a drink in the evening.
In short, Bastion Hotel Roosendaal offers a good price-quality ratio. No superfluous passion, but a decent and careful hotel where you can enjoy a pleasant night.
This time I visited relatives and friends who lived in Roosendal so I chose this hotel. Convenient location, convenient transportation, 1 minute walk opposite the station. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is kind and friendly.
Very clean hotel. We’ve enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that is a bit far from the city center. I’ve appreciated the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. For anyone interested and don’t find some info about the shuttle bus: you need to go to platform A in order to get to the hotel. The shuttle bus came from 30 to 30 minutes starting from :15 (16:15 - 16:45 - 17:15) and from hotel to the airport the same but from :00 (16:00-16:30-17:00)
The hotel is still quite new, but it’s a little hard to find at the back of the building. There is no parking space, so you can only find a nearby supermarket parking lot. The hotel room is very spacious. There are two double beds and one single bed in the quadruple room, and there are capsules in the room The coffee machine is generally okay.

The bedroom was a great size, bed very comfy. Nice to have a fridge and kettle, tea/ coffee. The bathroom was spotless. The rooms need to be checked for rubbish behind the desk before the curtains as there was other guests rubbish there.
The ice machine is on the ground floor and would be nice if there was another on each floor.
Good location for the train station and town.
We parked our car with free on street parking a 12 minute walk away to avoid the high hotel parking charges.
The room was noisy with street traffic, cars racing up and down.

The room was well organized and cleaned. The location of the hotel is very accessible. 10-15 minutes to the airport on foot, bus stop in front of the hotel.
If you are considering to book here for traveling or business, it would be a great choice!
2213022****This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. This experience was very bad. Due to the hotel's own problems, it was overbooked and I couldn't check in smoothly. I had to transfer to another hotel. It was very tiring. Apart from saying sorry, the hotel had no satisfactory solution. . After checking in, the refrigerator and air conditioner did not work, and I could not change rooms. I was very dissatisfied with the hotel management.
AAimée PortioliThe hotel is clean and quiet and I likes the simplicity of it. But a bit too minimal, for having a water boiler in the room you need to pay 15 euro extra, there are no bathroom amenities. Just the strict necessities.
What was worse is that the ventilation is very loud and I found the mattress very uncomfortable, I was basically sleeping in a hole on the right side of the bed.
