The foreign language level of the front desk is average, and they can't communicate well in foreign languages. When checking in, I had to wait for a long time because other guests were invoicing. There was a smell of cigarettes in the non-smoking room. I had to open the window for ventilation by myself, and it was still very cold. The lid of the kettle was broken, but it could still be used normally. The front desk bowed and apologized many times, but that was all they could do. Not far from the train station, relatively quiet.
The hotel is right at the entrance of the ski resort and you can Ski in/Out. Guests of the hotel in Figure 3 can get a discount on the ski pass price. Our price for three days was 25,400 yen. There are very few people in the ski resort unless there is heavy snowfall. Very few people. There are several restaurants in the hotel, and you need to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. The taste is good. There are ski lockers on the first floor for free. Friendly advice, try to bring your own shoes and boards. The shoes rented by the ski resort are very loose and the boards are heavy and hard.
I’m having a great stay here. The view is so amazing. You need to book a view on gondola to got my view. And its worth the price. You can also book a shuttle bus for free
Very good hot spring ski hotel, you can ski as soon as you go out, which is great!
The children also enjoyed it. Every morning after soaking in the hot springs and having breakfast,
Skiing in the afternoon, buffet at the hotel at night, and hot spring bathing, very good package
There is a ski rental shop at the hotel entrance
The location of the hotel is a bit far from the station, but there are buses that can go near the door. The buses are very convenient. There is a shopping street in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for eating and shopping.
The room is a little smaller, not enough to affect the quality, the reception staff is very kind, there is 7-11 downstairs, if you don't want to eat convenience stores early, you can choose the breakfast of the restaurant. I personally feel that it is delicious and very Japanese; Because I was going to Miyu Village the next day, I stayed here for a day. There is no bus at this station. I don’t want to walk. I can only take TAXI. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to other places. There is a sushi restaurant next to GU. It’s not bad. I spent NT400 eating more than in Taiwan. I can only say that it’s great.
This hotel rule requests earlier check out time about 10.00am , and charge 4000Yen per hour for extended..normally it should be 11:00 to 12:00
If u play ski or snow in the morning time ..mean that you will be charged...hotel is quite old ..room is big
The hotel is old, and the soundproofing is not good. You can hear the snoring next door at night.
The price has increased a lot during the cherry blossom season. There is a Lawson opposite and several small restaurants around. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the station and 1 minute to walk to the express bus station. The geographical advantage is obvious. There is no choice for small places. The front desk is still very friendly.
The hotel was dated, using the physical key system for the room. Amenities were lacking compared to many other hotels. Room heating worked well but the water temperature was unstable. The room was dark even with all lights switched on.

GGuest UserYou can find the hotel right in front of the station.
Very helpfull and friendly desk, I could even iron my clothes!
RRucitra DeasyI’m having a great stay here. The view is so amazing. You need to book a view on gondola to got my view. And its worth the price. You can also book a shuttle bus for free
GGuest UserNot the most modern. But very cosy and warm, impeccable service and hospitality. Child play facilities inside the hotel (up to 6 or 7 years old). That's a bar for the adults too, open tab until the night. Private onsen is available for 1000jpy for 45 minutes, and is adjacent but separate to the public onsen that is available to hotel guests. Parking is just outside the hotel. Restaurants and snow gear rental is available down the road.
GGuest UserThe environment of the hotel is excellent, and the price is worth it. It is very close to the high-speed rail station and very convenient! We originally had 2 adults and 1 child. We saw that it was required to have one room per person, so we planned to book 2 rooms first to see what the hotel required for children. Ctrip wrote that children were not allowed to be brought with us, so we thought that 2 rooms would not be enough and we would add another room later. We didn't expect the hotel to be so good. We had 2 children and one adult staying in one room.
GGuest UserThe onsen was excellent. Dinner was plentiful, but breakfast was just okay. In the Japanese-style rooms, guests need to lay out their own futons. The hotel offers ski equipment rental, which was very convenient.
IIYAClean and comfortable, very suitable for family travel, parking is also convenient. In short, it is highly recommended for parents and children. If you drive in Xinyi, choose this one, the service is great!
GGuest UserOur stay at Yukinohana Ryokan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel at home. The blend of traditional Japanese elegance with modern comfort made for an unforgettable experience.
The service was impeccable. Every staff member was attentive, kind, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
Yukinohana’s location is also excellent, just a short walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making it convenient for travelers. We can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the train station, but need to walk uphill. Although we clearly booked 2 adults 2 kids in Trip.com but the hotel still charged the extra costs for 2 kids (2 years old) for additional 4400 Yen, pay cash at the checkin counter. The room was ready at 3PM and got the room on 3rd floor with mountain view at the back of hotel. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Staff came for turning down the bed futon in the evening. The breakfast was so amazing and plenty of choices. Overall, we had a good stay.
ここすもYou can walk from Itoigawa station. I walk a little, but it's a distance to walk somehow. Shopping is not inconvenient because there is a supermarket nearby. What you have to be careful about is that it closes around 8 o'clock because it is soup. The reception was kind and nice. It was also nice to have a large communal bath. I think the accommodation fee is reasonable.
OOlivier - GillesNothing very new to tell since all the previous reviews say it all. The price is too high for the service. The best aspect of this hotel is its closeness to the slopes. The rooms are so-so, the lack of hooks is astounding for ski-oriented accommodation, the beds aren't particularly comfy, the breakfast isn't super good nor well supplied, there's hardly any WiFi reception anywhere, the common spaces are chilly, and let's not talk about the onsen.
The staff do try hard to make a difference, but meaning well doesn't always cut it. I'm still a bit disappointed by being offered no meaningful commercial gesture after agreeing graciously to switch rooms at the manager's request; in retrospect, as I'm writing this review, a ¥700 bottle of wine I didn't ask for made me feel a bit cheap. I ended up offering it to the staff during check-out.
We decided to ignore all the previous comments because we organized our trip late and are usually easy to please. But quite frankly, I don't understand why some issues haven't been fixed yet, even simple ones such as adding WiFi repeaters and adding hooks in the rooms.
