This is definitely not a 5 star. A good 3 star. The hotel has seen better times. No renovations have been done since it opened. The location and concept of the hotel are great, but the condition of the rooms and grounds leaves much to be desired. The staff is not trained, the level of service is not even close to 5 stars. The staff is ready to work, but they do not know what to expect. They work on the principle of ”this will do”. There are no work standards, no good manager. The hotel is aimed at locals, and their service level requirements are not very high. For now, this is a 3 star hotel.

The hotel was used for a long business trip. The hotel has a sky bar where you can enjoy a beer while watching the sunset. There are many Chinese short-term tourists on the weekends, so the breakfast is distracting and complicated, but the friendly staff took care of me to eat without any inconvenience. The location is a little far from the city but not bad. I stayed there for the length of my business trip, staying longer than planned. Recommended hotel.

It takes 20 minutes to ride to the restaurant by electric car. Slightly expensive. The disadvantages are that the hotel facilities are too old, the rooms are huge but the furniture is too old, the beds are not comfortable, and the socket design is extremely unreasonable. Breakfast is also very medium, I suggest you go early, usually after 8 o'clock, breakfast is basically nothing. There will be Chinese staff at the front desk, so you don't have to be afraid of not speaking Chinese. It is ok to clean the tip or help with the baggage of 1000 Myanmar dollars. I want to eat special Burmese or Chinese dishes. There are many electric tricycles at the door. You can provide the detailed address to the tricycle driver. The price is as close as 1000 Myanmar dollars, and the farther 2500 Myanmar coins are almost the same. It is just a few streets away. It is best to ask the driver how much before getting on the bus. If you want to eat fruit, you can ask the tricycle driver to buy fruit, and you will bring four fruit wholesale stores (similar). The first one is close to the street. Don’t buy it because the boss will speak Chinese, and the fruit will be sold. It won't be Chinese, but fruit can be bargained and much cheaper than the first one. Little durian is my favorite. I want to pack the durian back to the hotel. Remember to put the durian meat in the box and wrap it in plastic wrap to enter the hotel. Remember to bring the whole durian into the hotel.

The breakfast is plentiful, the room is big enough, clean and tidy, the waiter is warm and courteous, and the hotel also gives a cocktail to the guests every day, so that guests can enjoy the sunset while watching the sunset at the sky bar on the top floor of the hotel. And if you don't go out in the afternoon, the hotel will also give you a mini afternoon tea. I think it is definitely worth the price of staying at this hotel. On the first floor, half of the swimming pool is covered with sunshade, but there are white pigeons flying in the open air. You will find that the pool has mane from time to time. If you go to the beach in the morning, it will not work because of the taste of the kitchen. Just blown out to the pool, so if you want to swim in the hotel, you have to choose the right time. I stayed at Holidays Pier Hotel for 2 days during my business trip on November 2025 . The room was beautifully and clean. The location was perfect with city view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

New wave hotel is close to Mandalay railway station and bus station There are restaurants nearby to exchange foreign currency and eat I especially like the bar & restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, which overlooks the Mandalay Palace not far away and Mandalay Mountain in the distance.

對獨自旅行者，地點比較偏避。早餐在伊洛瓦底江伴，感覺很棒，有時烏鴉會強食，飯店STAFF都很Nice,下次還會再住。
