A wild resort hotel that you can't miss on your trip to Sri Lanka🏨 There are not many hotels to choose from in Yala. Cinnamon is a local brand with guaranteed quality! And it's really close to the gate of Yala Park. It only takes 10 minutes for an off-road vehicle to pick you up in the morning! The hotel is composed of small wooden houses, which are very suitable for local conditions. The hotel faces a large lake. You can see many birds and even crocodiles without going on safari🐊 The outdoor swimming pool faces the lake, shaded by green trees, and is not too sunny, which is especially relaxing

The Resort is very beautiful. The rooms are comfy and spacious. I have uploaded some room pictures you can see in that the rooms are nice. The main attraction is the property itself. The Resort is lake side with beautiful landscaping and design. On the first floor the is lounge and billiards room where you can chill. On the second floor ( Terrace ) there are multiple small rooms, lounge, fitness centre and spa created for meetings, leisure and relaxing. There is pool on the ground floor overlooking the lake. Which is perfect in the morning. This property is to enjoy the Resort itself. You can definitely stay here. It is worth the money.

Regarding our stay at Marriott Weligama. We enjoyed our stay due to few great “pluses”: - perfect view with giant window in room; - kids club works almost all day long, giving parents free time for ourselves; + professional stuff in club. we stayed two weeks in hotel and our favourite and beloved by kid - Bhagya - always met kid with smile, tried her best to interact kid in the most active way (despite some ladies, who found easier to switch on tv and cartoons), she easily found same language with my kid, although kid doesn’t know English at all. What I like most: Bhagya gave feedback on my kid’s activities in club every time. - swimming pool worked till 10pm, which is really cool. What we find could be improved: - evening activities; - more variety at breakfast - please change dishes at least 1-2 times in a week; - coffee beans at breakfast… too burnt taste.

The first morning we had an unusual ”set” breakfast, which was understandable as no buffet was offered when there were so few guests. Water pressure/temperature was unstable and there was a weird pulsating noise in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a lovely estate in absolute terms and stunning in relative terms. Very near the trendy fort area, which is worth a visit. Overall pleased.

We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

The hotel is very new, everything is in a very good condition and we liked the concept that it’s not a standard Hilton. You can feel that the service routines are not at the level as it should be, but the staff were always friendly a helpful.

Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

Excellent hotel, we have been to many places and have something to compare with. Breakfasts are great, you choose from the menu and it was included in our stay. Rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean, pool, spa with excellent massage (you need to book a day in advance). There is a Japanese restaurant on the roof with a gorgeous view. Live music from Wednesday to Sunday! We highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Internet WiFi worked great. The beach is private, sun loungers and towels are provided by the hotel for free, there are waves like almost everywhere in Sri Lanka with small children it may not be very comfortable to swim.

Stayed here for a few nights and it was great! Cafe, pool, and beach all available! Shared bathroom which we didn’t have any issues with. Staff were amazing!

This hotel is located along the coastline of Mirissa, that is, the kind of beach where the room comes out. Breakfast is not included in the general hotel in Mirissa, because whale watching will go out early in the morning the next morning, and usually return to the hotel around 11 o'clock. This hotel was in a very nice location. We had access to the beach right through the back of the hotel. Then, you are able to walk along and get to the main beach. The staff was helpful when the power in our room didn’t work. We were moved to a new room. Which turned out to be much better because the first room was infested with ants. Ants all over the toilet, sink, and on the floor along the walls. Great location, but make sure to check for ants.

There is a mini beach near the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, more than one kilometer to the main beach, or take a sudden car, the room is not small, you can really see the sea view, health, in a few days in Sri Lanka, I am used to it. The hotel is on the very edge of the rock, not far from the main road. The hotel was settled earlier( at 12). The views from the room are just delicious. The breakfast is delicious. The dinner is even delicious and the views are amazing. The room itself is stylish. I highly recommend the hotel to those who want privacy, away from the city sounds. After the island's tour, we will definitely return here for a couple more days. Since the ocean is divine and the beach is at the hotel too

Nice place for relaxing for couple days. It has big and nice pool. The pool guard (Dilash) is just amazing. He is always there to help you with everything. I hope the hotell will upgrade him. The woman in reception is aweful, she seems to be always tierd, and she never smiled, The hotel should change receptionist. We drove with our tuktuk to The hotel wich was very difficult, so dont do that!! Breakfast was ok but nothing more. There is a nice bar with a god service. Hotel rooms are little bit old.

Kleines, familiengeführtes Hostel, liegt etwas bergauf des Ortes. Besitzer sind gerne behilflich bei allen Fragen. Zimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon mit direktem Blick auf die schönen Palmen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Отель в целом не плохой но есть шанс что вас поселят в совершенно другой тип номера , а не в тот который вы забронировали. Персонал ссылался что у них овербукинг и вариантов нет. Мы бронировали на Trip.com номер люкс в отдельно стоящем бунгало, а получили в основном корпусе, где шумоизоляции нет, комары, не исправная сантехника и постоянный шум от насоса который закачивает воду. Цена не высокая но рисковать отдыхом и жертвовать комфортом я бы не стал.
