The room was spacious overall with excellent natural light, making for a very comfortable stay. The bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a restful sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely recommended!

The hotel is located very close to the train station, which makes it convenient for travelers. Right in front of the hotel is a Matsuya, and at night the area comes alive with plenty of izakaya options nearby. Parking is available, but it’s not underground—it’s situated beside the hotel. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have a public bathroom outside of the rooms. The facilities overall feel rather dated, so if you are particular about modern amenities, this might be something to keep in mind.

You can even get directly to Odawara and Atami. Besides the convenient transportation, the shopping is also a big draw, with Isetan and PARCO right at the station exit. The small street leading to the hotel is a bustling food street, full of delicious options. But the best part, ultimately, is the hotel itself. The rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, and cozy. Even the smaller rooms are 24 square meters, and the larger ones are 32 square meters – which is almost unbelievable in Japan, where space is at such a premium. What's even more surprising is the price. For anyone doing a self-guided tour of Japan, Urawa Pines Hotel should be your first choice. Highly, highly recommend it!!!

It's an old hotel, so there are traces of an old resort hotel. The facilities are old, but the interior is nice. There is a hot spring on the premises, which guests can use. There are no shops nearby, so we ate at the restaurant in the hot spring facility. It's inconvenient if you don't have a car, but you can get there by bus from Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. You can also get to the Fukaya Hanazono outlet by bus, so it's a good place to enjoy hot springs and shopping relatively close to the city center.

Despite the fairly sprayed view of the walls, it was very clean. Here you can dive into the atmosphere of the time that personally for me was a undeniable advantage. The reception is in the attic, with an electric staircase going up from the basement, but only stairs going down to the ground, which makes it difficult to carry large luggage. At the same time, you have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the lobby, and you cannot wear shoes when taking the elevator to your room, but the floor inside the elevator does not feel very clean.
