(Location) next to Manchester airport and walking distance to T3. Another hotel is next to it. It takes about 15 minutes walk if arriving by train or literally 5 minutes walk if arriving from a flight. (Main reception) Is clean and customer service is ok and professional. There is a bar, games, TV, etc in the main area. (Room) Tiny but good enough for a day or night. Don't expect big as it's a typical IBIS but budget style. Good shower, shower gel, etc. Bed position is strange as the TV is on the wrong side of the wall. Plenty of plugs next to the bed. Mattress is comfortable and it's not very noisy.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Our overall experience wasn’t very satisfactory with this hotel. We got a non-window room, the staff members at the reception had no customer service skills as they wouldn’t help with minor inconveniences like providing coffee sachets except the member named Yasar. The room was very hot and only table fan was provided, no AC option. The specifications of the hotel do not meet as it says GYM, sauna, etc. I am an influencer and youtube vlogger, I have a detailed review about the hotel on my channel.

I reached hotel around 11 a.m and Checkin time was 2 p.m, I requested them for early Checkin, they said you have to pay extra for early checkin, I agreed to pay extra money, But despite that the guy on reception did not even bother and kept me waiting in lobby until 1:30pm. That was unco-operative behaviour for me.

Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

The hotel is good for the price, but even though it’s not far from the airport, it is difficult to get to unless you use a taxi. I complimentary shuttle service and the public bus (which I used) is dirty with rude unhelpful drivers!

Boiling hot public areas. Too hot. Stifling. No need for it, when its mild outside, and it was. Pleasant service from all the staff I spoke with. Had a meal in the bar, which I ordered at 21.15, which I thought was pretty good, the fact that the kitchen was still open. I went straight to bed afterwards, so hadn't noticed that neither the kettle nor the TV in my room worked. Disappointed really, and, cheap room or not, hardly what you expect. I reported it to reception and got a free coffee to take away, since I was checking out. On balance then, a mixed bag, but I would stay again. Where else can you get a room in Manchester for £34.

I personally wouldn’t stay here again. We called before reaching the hotel to ask about parking to be told we would get discount for parking at a near by multi story. When we left the hotel and asked for the discount code we never received one! So £34.99 to park!  When we reached the hotel we paid £20 to check in early to realise we were charged twice for this!!  The rooms were ok and some of the staff were nice whilst others weren’t helpful at all!  Paid extra for breakfast which when we hit down there was no clean tables no plates and the coffee machine wasn’t working properly! The food was ok but the bacon was all stuck together in clumps! Hotel was pretty central though!

My room was meant to be with king size bed but we got 2 single beds joined together, the single beds had wheels on them so they kept rolling away from each other. It would also move around when you’d try to get into bed. Beds were super high as well, and when they are on wheels it’s a bit tricky to get into one of them especially if you’re short and overweight. Tv was not working, super old so had no smart hub, so no Netflix or any other platforms, you can’t even stream your screen view from your phone. Antenna had no reception so you couldn’t even watch any regular tv programs. Other than that, shower was great and clean, everything else in the room was also clean and the room was pretty spacious which I really liked. Location is great, you have an access to a gym.

Good place to stay before a flight. Only issue for me was that the room was too hot and couldn’t get it colder, despite the air con. Not the best night sleep. Location great though. Food in the restaurant was nice. Recommend the ragu. Drinks are very expensive in the bar for any liquor.

Couldn’t be more pleased with our stay at Tribe - excellent room and facilities. The restaurant is well above average and the food was excellent. It made our early morning start much better than would otherwise have been the case. Highly recommended to all.

We had a pleasant stay at this new and clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary snacks and drinks provided at check-in. The breakfast spread was excellent and delicious. The location is very convenient for Terminal 2. However, there aren’t any nearby restaurants, and since we were using Terminal 1, it took about 15 minutes to walk there. Overall, it’s a great choice, highly recommended.

The hotel is situated super near train station and Manchester airport. Shuttle bus service was good and drivers of the shuttle bus were helpful and humor. Hence, try not to walk to the hotel although it seems in a walking distance. Hotel room is spacious and well lit. Hotel's breakfast is good as well. Hence, it's definitely a good choice for short morning flight.

If you stay at a Premier Inn bring a toilet brush! I use Premier Inn quite a lot - convenient, comfortable and value for money. Not this time! There seems to have been a change in corporate policy, for the worse. The card that I got when checking in told me that I could get my room made up by informing Reception before 12:00, which I did. Upon my return to the room nothing had been done! Reception then informed me that their head office policy now was for stays longer than one night, rooms would only be made up after 5 days! Fortunately they found some clean towels, replacement tea bags and a toilet brush. Someone from the bar then helped me make up the room and clean the bathroom. Top marks for staff helpfulness but no marks for corporate cleanliness.

Was my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasn’t sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasn’t being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!! The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didn’t use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.

Nice room with everything for a comfy stay . Including an iron . Staff very friendly and informative. Continental breakfast only , pity but plenty of eateries close by . Weatherspoons and Deansgate 10 min walk for breakfast. So in a really good position for city centre. Train station 2 min walk . Pity parking is on a first come basis . Would come back and definitely recommend.

Value for the money. Free parking is a plus, better have ur own car to go around the city. Breakfast is gd enough, the hash brown is very yummy. Will try to come again in different season. Let’s see how s everything.

When we arrived there was plenty of parking available which was a plus point for us. We approached the reception to check in, and they were very welcoming. There may have been a small issue with our booking I'm not sure what it was maybe our room was not ready but it was resolved quickly and we got upgraded to a King room with river view. I got asked how I'd like to pay for our visit, but I had to inform them that it's already been paid online. After dinner we stopped at the beverage counter for a hot drink and soft drink. The server was really nice and she was accomodated to our needs. The room itself was spacious and modern. We really liked the smart TV as it gave us more options to watch something. The bathroom was nice as well however the toilet was a little stained. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Great location, with free parking. Lovely comfortable bed, large room, clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet great, plenty of choices. Easy check in and check out.We will definitely stay again.

It says what's on the label. clean, tidy, helpful staff. Great location for theatre area and close to tram system, which makes it easy to get to city centre

The room is clean and sanitary. It is a great value apartment hotel with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is the most spacious and comfortable hotel to stay in the UK. The breakfast is also very good. There is Sainsbury's downstairs and it takes five minutes to walk to Arndale Shopping Center. It is very convenient. If you go to Manchester, you must choose it.

Stayed here with my partner as we had plans to go into Manchester, this is located really well with a couple pubs close by and the train station within walking distance. It wasn't a bad stay, staff were lovely and room was tidy with fresh bedding and facilities to make a tea/coffee. It was a little noisey with people banging and walking back and forward from the bathroom as you could hear everything from our room as it was located next to the shared bathroom. Breakfast too there was plenty of choice but could use some extra pans or somewhere to wash up. Great for travellers or people on a budget.

Venue has a beautiful ambience from the moment you walk in to the various places you can sneak and relax around the property. Safe surroundings to go for a walk or work out in gym or swim in the pool. Loved it very much will be coming again. Carol and Ray

The environment is okay. There is a Hong Kong receptionist on duty in the morning. She is very polite and hard-working👍
