I arrived here from Manchester on Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day we had planned our check out, I travelled with my husband and my baby. We had many plans for Christmas however this took a turn. My baby was crawling in the room & one of the legs of the table fell on top on her as it was just holding on and the leg of the table was not screwed on properly. We spent our Christmas in the hospital watching over our baby.

The room facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained. The shower water pressure is good, and the drainage works perfectly. The bed is old and a bit uneven, and the towels are worn. Overall, it's a good experience with reasonable pricing and good value for money.

The receptionist is extremely friendly. Clean room, fresh linen and towels, available teas/coffee and decent breakfast. All you need for a quick getaway without any hassle. They even provided disposable coffee cup thus you can take out hot drinks right after breakfast. Thank you for the lovely and helpful staffs.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The property is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, which makes it a great choice if you’re looking to relax away from the noise and bustle of the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to unwind. I also appreciated the ample parking facilities, which made things very convenient for those traveling by car. However, one downside is that there are no nearby commercial centers, so finding food or groceries requires some planning or travel. Additionally, while breakfast was available, the options were somewhat limited and could definitely be improved. Overall, it’s a good option for a quiet and comfortable stay, especially if you don’t mind being a bit far from shops and dining option

The trip was great, comfortable beds and a terrific shower. The breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. I’d really recommend the breakfast as it’s a buffet style for tea, coffees and pastries. I’d stay there again the next time I’m in town!

Very clean and very nice hotel, better than some 5stars hotel I think, value for money, will definitely go back in the future

Spacious and modern rooms, comfortable beds. Regular cleaning, savory breakfast to order in the restaurant, very reasonable prices for catering, friendly staff. No hair dryer and bring a shower cap because the shower head is high and fixed. Very quiet and well-insulated hotel. Excellent value for money

The outside of this hotel worried us as it looks quite run down, but the rooms were serviceable. It was a hot day in Scotland (rare!) but this meant we found the room a bit uncomfortable with no cooling/fan. Bed was also quite a small double bed as a heads up! Breakfast was delicious and the bar is well priced - all in all, this was a decent enough stay in the area but we wouldn’t go out of our way to return.

The location was wonderful, just at North Street and not far from Scores, the city T2 social, the city centre, all the restaurants. We were so lucky with the weather, and managed to have a round of golf at the New Course. the rooms were big and nicely heated. I managed to get the corner room and have great views of the streets. It was well ventilated and the noise on the street did not affect me.
