"In Windsor, there are not many hotels within walking distance from the castle. This is one of them. I have to book as soon as possible. I checked a few days before check-in. The price has risen a lot. If you book a room by car, you must book a parking space at the same time. The hotel parking lot can park about 10 cars. I booked a parking space late and I was able to park in a public parking lot about 500 meters away. The room is a bit compact, but the demand determines the price."

TTravel Bug QueenAbsolutely fantastic stay at this fab hotel, beds super comfy, great location close to the airport, and the best thing about this hotel is the scrumptious breakfast buffet, where ever need is catered for. So much choice and food is of excellent quality and served hot.
This hotel is our go to when we fly out from Heathrow the following day.

GGuoqidexianyingshuiIt's already midnight at the hotel. Driving over, the name of the hotel in the navigation is not matched by Hilton. I didn't dare to go in for a long time. Hotel facilities and rooms are very good, no problem. It seems to be a cooperative hotel in British Gas , and the parking lot is full of British Gas Company cars.

GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel, fantastic staff who couldn't do anymore for visitors, clean rooms and clean common areas, plenty of activities to occupy the kids during the stay and plenty of refreshments during the day including good breakfast and dinner options.
We used the pool twice a day during our stay, visited the arcade and outside park / nature trails and outside games section and neither of my children wanted to come home. I 100% recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely be visiting again!

GGuest UserPros: Excellent location, right opposite the castle with a shopping street right outside the door.
Cons:
1) The room had a musty smell.
2) The cleanliness was terrible.
Service:
3) One staff member was very good, but the others we encountered later were not. They didn't even show us to our room. Our room was in an annex building, and they didn't explain that clearly, so we had to drag our luggage around looking for it for a long time. I was so close to losing my temper.
Overall, it's very old, not very clean, and not a premium experience.

GGuest UserRoom was on ground floor with two queen beds, (I only needed one), tv off button didn’t work, the room is very old and dated and is in dire need of a refresh. Premier inn has nicer rooms !! Menu is very overpriced, vegan burger fries and a coke £35!!
I would not stay here again at least not until it has a refresh, it’s just seems worn out and old in the room I was in

OOllieSFirst receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception.
The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle).
Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though.
Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee.
Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it.
There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

GGuest UserThe hotel's surroundings are beautiful, nestled in a residential area, so there are hardly any unruly crowds, and the locals are very nice. The hotel staff provide excellent service, and their English is fluent. The rooms are not densely packed, and the staff maintain an appropriate distance, which is appreciated. The breakfast area is clean, and while the selection is simple, the quality is high, and the fruit is fresh. I recommend trying the milk with various cereals. I look forward to visiting again.

The staff are wondefully helpful and professional.
The carpark is large with plenty of spaces.
There is a supermarket across the road along with newsagent and a chip shop.
There is also a small gym onsite which is an added bonus.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was of a very high standard.
I would especially like to commend Kiran at reception for her outstanding professionalism and support. She ensured that our check-in process was seamless and efficient, addressing everything with a warm and courteous approach. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service truly enhanced our stay.
Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed in the Windsor House section of the hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately — everything from the bed to the bathroom was spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. It’s rare to feel so comfortable using hotel facilities without hesitation, but this room was truly impeccable.
The location is ideal — just by the riverside and within easy walking distance of Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, Côte Brasserie, and the boat tours. Windsor Castle is only a pleasant 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for sightseeing.
The service throughout our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful and friendly cleaning staff, every interaction felt genuinely caring and professional.
Our stay included breakfast, which was a generous British buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options, including pastries, fresh fruit, and more. There were plenty of drink choices with refills available, and the coffee was lovely — a great way to start the day.
In conclusion, we highly recommend the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. We were extremely pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
