It's a village with a lot of feel and a B&B with a lot of atmosphere. There aren't many old houses in the village, but it's super impressive. I booked a special room. The housekeeper upgraded me to a loft. The room is not big. The bedroom is upstairs and there is a sofa and coffee table downstairs. You can watch TV and rest without disturbing each other. I like it very much. The bedding is also very clean. It is a great value for having such conditions in the village. . The uncle who picked up our luggage was very enthusiastic. He was an elder in the village. He drove a tricycle to pick us up. It was a pleasant surprise. He also gave us good travel advice. Everyone we met in Xixinan was as friendly as family, friends and elders. , the food was also delicious. I was too hungry and didn’t have time to take pictures. I emptied everything. I’ll stay at your place next time I come.

A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking. The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains. The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge. He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history. The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries). I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub. There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride. Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright. I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service. Thank you for the warm hospitality! You can directly see the Buddha statue at their home. The house is clean and hygienic. There is a balcony. The balcony is opposite to entertainment facilities. There are barbecues and rivers. It is very cool to go out for a walk at night. There is a swimming pool. The water temperature is very comfortable. You can swim. It is very close to the food street. Five minutes walk.

Back in my student days, all I looked for in a hotel was a clean place to crash. But with age and experience, I've slowly realized the significance of quality. There truly is a world of difference between a luxury hotel and a budget inn, isn't there? The Langham Hefei truly embodies refinement and thoughtfulness in every aspect, from its impeccable service and state-of-the-art facilities to the premium toiletries and exquisite bedding details. Traveling with our child, the hotel thoughtfully prepared children's amenities and a special kid's room key card in advance. The European-style private garden on the ground floor is also a beautiful spot for taking photos. On check-in day, we were instantly charmed by Ada, the enthusiastic front desk staff. She immediately set a wonderful tone for our day, not only offering thoughtful recommendations for local culinary hotspots but also meticulously pointing out the Pan Yuliang art exhibition hidden within the hotel's corridors. Strolling through it, the artistic ambiance was palpable, truly elevating the hotel's elegance. After settling into our view room on the 37th floor, we opened our door after dinner to a breathtaking sunset over Mount Dashu. The evening glow over Swan Lake painted the sky a gentle orange-pink. As night fell, the city lights twinkled. Sipping red wine by the window and then indulging in a hot bath, all the week's fatigue melted away in the steamy water. It was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast spread in the morning was fantastic and very kid-friendly, offering a wide variety of cuisines that our little one thoroughly enjoyed. I also learned that the hotel's Chinese restaurant, T'ang Court, holds Michelin stars in both Hong Kong and Shanghai – I'll definitely have to try it if I get the chance next time!

We absolutely loved our experience at Xihai hotel. The level and quality of customer service was incredible, and the staff did everything to make us feel special. Thank you to Kora who communicated all the necessary information to us clearly including the forecast for sunrise the next morning (a 15 minute walk up towards Danxia peak). The hotel also provides complementary down jackets for cold weather. The rooms are lovely, and the food at the restaurant is buffet style but very nice and good variety. The hotel also has several daily activities - I highly recommend the face changer show in the evening! Thanks again to everyone who hosted us at the hotel!

This trip to Hefei was for a concert, and after scouting out a few hotels near the stadium, I ultimately chose the InterContinental. It definitely proved to be the right decision! We landed in Hefei that morning and arrived at the hotel before the official check-in time. However, the lovely lady at the front desk was kind enough to check if any rooms were ready. Once confirmed, she patiently helped us check in. She also knew we were there for a concert and thoughtfully provided us with some gifts and raincoats – a gesture we truly appreciated, even though it didn't rain that day! It was too hot to venture outside, so we ended up ordering a lot of takeout. Each delivery was promptly brought up to our room. We ordered quite frequently, which must have kept the staff busy, so a big thank you to everyone for their hard work! The hotel also provides a shuttle service, though it needs to be booked in advance. We forgot to make a reservation, but thankfully, we were still able to catch a taxi in the end. Furthermore, the staff at the Happy Hour executive lounge were outstanding. On our first day, despite our tight schedule, they were able to accommodate us with an adjusted time slot. Even though we only stayed for a brief moment, we found their thoughtfulness incredibly heartwarming! Our room was also perfectly arranged, offering a great view of Swan Lake right outside the window. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, which made the scenery absolutely stunning! Lastly, I want to reiterate my gratitude to all the staff for their hard work and dedication. Thank you all, and we hope to see you again on our next trip to Hefei!

The hotel service is so nice. The room condition is also good. But, internet access (WIFI) is very low. The historic places and big shopping mall (Wanda Plaza) are convieniently located nearby.

Loved this beautiful historic homestay. Clean and neat and beautifully decorated. Welcoming host who spoke great English and comforting breakfast. the second bed was a bit hard for our family that is not used to hard beds, but the other main bed was fine. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. the location is ideal for exploring the old street

I am not the person who travel and review a lot, but this is one of the places I called Gem in Chaohu. The rooms is clean and well considered. My daughter enjoyed the views of mountains and balcony. And for kids, this place has a lot of amenities for them: swimming pool, game room, etc. So I would recommend this place in the area if you have no idea what to do with your kids! BTW: it has hot spring too, but we don’t have chance to try, will leave it for next trip

It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service! They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks. Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!
