Chateau Fredericton, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is perfect, elegant without losing sentiment, and the service is thoughtful, making people extremely comfortable. It creates a sense of home for me. No matter how big or small it is, it is impeccable and the price is reasonable.
Quality Inn

I stayed at the Quality Inn in Moncton twice in a single week. This hotel was very affordable, and it was quiet. There was plenty of parking outside of this hotel. This hotel had three (3) stories, and it had an elevator. Highway-2, Magnetic Hill, Downtown Moncton, and the ****** were all very close to this hotel. There was free wifi herein. There was a restaurant on these premises, but I did not eat there. This hotel also sold basic snacks, but I did not purchase any of them. I enjoyed my usages of the pool and of the hot tub. The hot tub was rather small, and the pool was somewhat chilly, but I got used to them pretty quickly. I needed to get a towel and a separate key at the front desk in order to use the pool and the hot tub. I did sometimes have problems with my room key due its occasional failures to correctly operate. There was also a gym with a weight machine, a treadmill, and a bicycle. This hotel’s breakfast was fantastic. I really enjoyed the scrambled eggs, the potatoes, the waffles, the toasts, the muffins, the English muffins, the apples, the juices, and the water. The staff members who worked at this hotel were friendly and very accommodating. My room had a desk, some chairs, a television, and a comfortable bed. There was also plenty of hot water when I took my showers. My rooms had air-conditioning and heat. The only criticism that I could state was that I would have liked to have had daily room service.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Moncton

Hotel is right off the highway and the area has several hotels nearby. It is one of the newer hotels in the area. The room had a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave so you can make yourself a little snack. Pillows were comfy as was the bed. I had a late check-in and was driving all day so was hoping to sleep in a little later than usual. But at 9:30am the cleaners started with their vacuuming in the hallway and it was loud. Really don’t understand why you need to start so early. Other than the noise everything else was perfect. Hopefully this is a one off and not done on a regular basis.
Days Inn by Wyndham Saint John New Brunswick

The accessible king suite with Jacuzzi tub was great! There was no shower chair, but they found one after asking a bunch of times. It took an in person visit to the front desk to rectify this problem. The hot tub in the pool area was nice and hot, but the jets were broken. This was not stated anywhere on the website that I could find. Where our room was located was great, but the hallway is not that accessible as the laundry dept is right beside it and sloppy house keeping carts block the hallway partially. Also don’t bother doing the pre check in to save time as their system id so slow snd outdated Its quicker just to fo it in person. Another issue was pool towels. They told us uppon check in thst they were out, 3.5 hours later we managed to find one. There was also a dirty towel in our room at check in. All in all we had a good stay, but for the price we paid it could have been much much better.
The Algonquin Resort St. Andrews by-The-Sea, Autograph Collection

This is without a doubt the most posh hotel in NB. It's very elegant and provides the service of a 5* hotel and has the activities of a resort. However, our room was not well maintained. Many electric outlets were impossible to use, they were wonky and loose. One if the pillowcases hadn't been changed. In a hotel where the ambition is so high, even the broom closets should be impeccable. It advertised as dog friendly but a 50$ charge is added for the dog. Might I suggest providing at least a few dog enabled rooms for that price? They could have dog beds/treats or at least a bowl for water at that price. The other unpleasant surprise was a resort fee that remained hidden until check out. The price of the room was already well above all other hotels in NB, and making that fee a hidden charge is unacceptable. If you need to charge more, show it in the booking price.
Four Points by Sheraton Edmundston Hotel & Conference Center

Location is right near the church and the convention center. Parking across the street. We appreciate the complimentary plug in for our hybrid. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. Rooms are dated but clean. Our tv had no sound and the phone was not plugged in. We opted for the restaurant in house because it offered happy hour. Alas that was for beer only. Our meals were bland and tasteless. My pasta was dripping wet which made the sauce watery and no flavor.
Travelodge by Wyndham Miramichi New Brunswick
4.1/5107 Reviews
My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the Travel lodge in Miramichi. We chose to stay here as most hotels for 2 rooms in the area are overpriced. We were satisfied with our choice, it had all the amenities, wonderful view, the rooms are all updated, nice pool, the staff are really accommodating/friendly and the restaurant on site was really good.

Positives: - Check in staff, Madison, had positive attitude. Listened to issues found in the room, tried to offer two options but none of them I could use. - Responsive and made efforts to resolve issues Negatives: - Found hairs on the back of the hotel room door entry next to the wall, hairs found on the bed, and several in the bathroom in the first room they assigned me. - Poor hand-off and follow through when changing shifts between employees: Madison left and did not inform the next shift employee about the uncleaning issues in my room, left me waiting for more than 30 minutes. A new staff took over and I had to re-explain the situation again. Madison did not let me know that she would soon get off her shift and a new staff would take over. They moved me to Room 440 which is much cleaner. - The check-out process was long, the staff, Shannon said the printer couldn't print. The manager, Kamar, was standing looking over Shannon's shoulder and said he would take over to check me out. He asked me to go into his ”dark” office, and I said I preferred to wait in the lobby where it's bright and no need for me to go into his office, I sensed something was off. I went to get tea in the nearby tea table where hot water and coffee were located. Then, the next thing he did was acting inappropriately by walking very close to me to ask me a question, when Shannon stepped away, saying, ”Did you book through Expedia? My lady?” When Shannon returned, I told her that her manager, Kamar, said something inappropriate, and looked straight into Kamar's eyes telling him, ”I am not your lady. Stop that. I am your guest, the guest of Four Points by Sheraton.” This could constitute a sexual harassment in work setting. The facility is in good and acceptable condition. Cleanliness needs improvement as cleanliness varies from one room to another. The staff's service was fine, but manager, Kamar's behavior is concerning, inappropriate, and needs to be addressed. This hotel would have the chance to earn a 4 out of 5 or even 5 out of 5 if they were able to: 1) provide a clean, hairless, grease-free, watermark-free, food crumb-free rooms on all surfaces from the beginning. 2) Kamar acts and speaks professionally and appropriately 3) Better handoff between shifts. Kamar is the biggest factor that this property got a 2 star out of 5-star rating. Moncton in New Brunswick is the closest bigger city to Prince Edward Island, which offers better lodging accommodation. If you don't mind driving 1.5 to 2 hours daily (one way), this can be a good lodging location for those who plan to visit Prince Edward Island. Going into Prince Edward Island is free, but when you leave and cross the bridge again, it's $50 CAD, so do pencil that in when making your lodging decisions. For the same price, you get better and nicer hotels in Moncton than that of Charlottetown in Prince Edward Island.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Moncton
4.3/5108 Reviews
We recently spent three nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Moncton. The hotel is very close to the highway and easy to get to. Our room was spacious and comfortable; however it needed a bit of maintenance (hem was hanging down on curtain, one chair had crusty stains on it and we didn't want to sit on it, one lamp wasn't working). Also, our room on the second floor looked out on the portico so we couldn't see anything out the window except cement. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
