It was a wonderful stay with Holiday Inn Leicester. The family room is bigger than expected, hygiene, daily room cleaning, comfort air-con, electric chargers are sufficient, Staff were helpful.
Breakfast was great and rich. I will definitely come back if I revisit Leicester.
Really good value hotel at East Midlands Airport.
I stayed here for one night due to its proximity to the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic, but this is a Holiday Inn Express, not a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a hairdryer, kettle, iron and a few other features in the room. Wifi was fast and stable which is a big plus. The food is the restaurant was fairly decent and it was certainly quite busy the evening I was there. Breakfast is included for all rooms and there were plenty of hot and cold options with juices and coffees etc. OK it won't win any Michelin stars, but I was happy for the price. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the terminal or there is a bus stop right outside which gets there in a few minutes.
Our had booked three rooms for a family get together. The staff were all efficient, helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were looking a little ragged and in need of updating.
The hotel was full and busy and tended to be noisy. We had two disturbed nights from noise in the corridors. I thought the hotel could do more to promote courtesy among guests. Such as better signage - you are now entering a quiet zone no noise in corridors. The posters on the walls were not obvious.
The pool and spa were closed for repair and we were not informed of this prior to our travel.
Handy Hotel for the terminal. I couldn’t hear planes from my room which was clean and tidy although a little ‘worn’ It didn’t detract from the handiness of being so close to the terminal for an early flight. Nice shower and comfy bed. Kettle and coffee sachets or tea bags were handy first thing in the morning.
The food was ok but not a lot of choice (sign of the times maybe?) the beer was nice though!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice to know if a lone traveller like I was.
The hotel is located in a large green area, very comfortable; the room is not big, very clean, ok for one night. The only thing is that the bed is too small, the quilt fell off several times a night, the mattress is too soft for us, and we felt a little sore in the waist after sleeping for a night.
Nice hotel, a little dated but everything was clean and tidy. No bar or restaurant facilities for the evening but we were going out for dinner and they did get us a bottle of wine from behind the bar. Only major issue was the mattress in the room, there was basically a hole on one side and both sides were so worn out it was funny. Had I paid more than £56 I’d have asked for a room move
Amazing hotel, very chilled and spacious, great rooms loads of tea coffee and water in the room.
Staff were all very professional, welcoming, and efficient. A really polished team who deliver top tier customer service at all times.
Couldn't connect devices to TV as it seems to be blocked from selecting sources.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else now in Leicester. Amazing value and amazing vibe The bar and breakfast restaurant are great although they stopped serving food at 9:15pm on the night we arrived.
A fiver to town in an Uber, 15 mins walk to the station, the hotel is next to Leicester Tigers stadium and also very close to the King Power.
You've got a corner shop, kebab house, McDonalds, and Morrisons all within a ten min walk too.

Hotel is right in the centre of town in what used to be a department store (Fenwicks). Lots of bars, restaurants, shopping and history nearby (I grew up in Leicester). Staff were friendly and helpful and let us check in 3 hours early. Had a room in the smaller side building which was clean and bright but was quite overlooked by other rooms. The rooms opposite had curtains but we had roll down blinds so it was a choice between privacy and natural light - I hope they can remedy this. Hotel is very new and some small touches are still missing, such as a shelf in the shower for body wash and shampoo. Gym is well-equipped with a Smith machine, cables and a bench. I will definitely stay here again but hope they can make some small adjustments to make a great stay truly incredible!
Terrible Hotel, I stayed here about 3 years ago and it was very good, that’s why I booked it this time. On arrival, I was allocated the wrong room, twice, on the third attempt they managed to get it right.
The fire alarm went off 3 times between 6.00 and 7.00am, what a lovely way to wake up after traveling for 22 hour’s from Thailand.
Breakfast was nasty and there wasn’t any bacon left, so I asked a member of staff for some bacon and was told I would have to wait 10 minutes as the chef was on a fag break.
The room is clean, the location is excellent, and it's perfect for staying overnight before a track day event.
Next to the airport, perfect view

GGuest UserThe room is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. It is in the city center, a 5-minute walk to the train station, and within walking distance of most attractions. There are supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl nearby, making shopping convenient.

SSammy-naturalI had a pleasant stay here with my family.
We stayed for pleasure/business off-base, and from the moment we arrived, the reception to the domestic has been brilliant and helpful. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Leisure facilities and areas were all clean and tidy, very appealing. Leonardo Hotel taught of everything, so you can pack light, all necessities were provided and in vast quantity, Thank you, Leonardo!
The centre of the stairway also gives a cruise ship vibes (I will add pics), which I thought was brilliant, and have I mentioned the breakfast. Now, this is the first hotel I've been to where i see they offered takeaway supplies (containers, tea cups) for people on the go, SPLENDID IDEA, and the breakfast was lovely.
The overall aspect for me was the ambience, which flows through the entire property. Every room you enter gives that tranquil feeling, from the low lighting to the smooth melody, it makes breakfast feel like I'm in a 6* restaurant.
I recommend this place for anyone, it is also great for kids, my kids (1, 16, 9) enjoyed it, especially the pool.
I will definitely come back!!!

DDeniseTo customer service. My partner and l stayed at the Bosworth Hall hotel whilst travelling north for an overnight stay to break our journey and get refreshed to continue our journey. Sadly although the staff were amicable and the site was good we got very little sleep as there was hard noise through the night and early morning. This was acceptable but the bathroom facilities were unacceptable. There was very little water pressure so we could not shower and when inspected the pipe had obviously been faulty and leaking prior to our visit but the pipe had been wrapped with electrical insulation tape and the pressure reduced so it didn,t blow the tape off when used. It was a poor advert for a high class hotel. I attach a photo of the pipe. Also l expect you to make recompense to me. Regards Jacob Thomlinson.

GGuest UserGreat location & fab gardens, hotel inside is dated & needs a make over, our room was basic, bed comfy, black mould on bathroom mastic & cracked tiles in shower area, stained tiles in ceiling area, patio doors to outside, but on opening in the morning, was greeted by a white transit van right outside doors & the wedding planners for the next wedding going back & forth,so couldn’t even have the curtains open, great full English breakfast options, but food had clearly been kept warm for quite a while,no plates,no tea bags, had to ask, tables hadn’t been cleared of dirty plates, glasses, mugs, etc & no staff to be seen,so had to clear our own table, staff all looked miserable & when they did appear, not one of them spoke to us!
