A very nice, clean furnished house with kitchen diner, leading to a small garden. There is also a down stairs loo. Upstairs has two bedrooms with double beds & a very nice bathroom with loo & shower. The place is very peaceful for a good night's sleep, provided you keep the windows shut. Both upstairs & downstairs has air conditioning. A very nice cafe is situated across the road & it's a five minute drive to Wanaka. The staff were very nice & friendly. We will definitely stay there again.
There are two rooms in one living room, one room with a double bed, and one room with twin beds. The kitchen basically has a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and the facilities are complete! The apartment is in the back row of the Hilton. Although it is not directly on the lake, you can still see the lake view. The sunset shines on the mountain opposite. Lake Wakatipu is so beautiful. Follow the main road and you will find Deer Park Heights, a popular spot on Xiaohongshu.com. It is highly recommended. There are beautiful scenery and small animals. You can go and play for a day with some food. The trouble is that there are only 3 parking spaces in the entire apartment. After staying for two days, there was no parking space. I had to drive back to the main road to park, which is a bit of a test of my driving skills.
The hotel is on a slope. This time, the first row is facing the road. There is a garage below the road on the first floor. Parking in the garage is very convenient. You can also drive up the slope, making it easy to pick up luggage.
There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the first floor of the hotel. The second floor is the living room. We have four adults and one child, which is just right.
The hotel is quite cozy, and the facilities are very new. The location is not far from Queenstown on foot, about 10+ minutes, but there is a long steep slope... It's a bit tiring to get back to the hotel...😂
There is road construction going on near the hotel these days, which will wake you up in the morning.
The only shortcoming is that there is no radiator in the hotel room. Sometimes it feels cold in the middle of the night. Everything else is good.
This is my first time staying in a fully self-service motel.
The guest's name will be written on the sign at the door. Simple and clear x
Facilities: Fully equipped with tableware, tea bags, microwave, and cups, all carefully prepared, but you need to bring your own slippers. This is the same in almost any hotel (in New Zealand)
The mattress is super comfortable and supportive. Very good sleep.
Hygiene: clean, spotless, satisfactory, cost-effective
Environment: Quiet residential area. I saw a kitten in the morning.
Neat, clean and bright
Service: Although it is self-service, because I arrived very late at night, the owner left a light for me, which was very warm.
Thank you also to Ctrip for your service. My phone card is a data card I bought but I couldn’t make calls. They helped me patiently communicate with the store and it was very timely!
First of all, it must be certain that the scenery and location are really nice. The cooking desk provides tableware, cooking oil, salt and pepper, but because the cooking desk and the room are connected, the air in the room is not very good after 4 days of living. Room service needs you to email to make an appointment. If you don’t call, The room will not be cleaned every day. B&B inn, self-check-in, no front desk, self-service card, the last day at 11 noon card automatically invalidated, can not open the door.
The view on the second floor is great... You can see the whole view of Lake Wanaka... We lost our wallet... The little sister called us to pick it up... thank you

Very Good
DDoyyyI recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip and was looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. It met my basic expectations.
Pros:
- Clean and well-maintained room.
- Room size is comfortable for two adults.
- 24-hour reception is very convenient.
- Bus stops (Bus 1) are right in front of the hotel.
- The balcony with chairs and a table offers a serene view of the river.
- Buffet breakfast starts early at 6:30 AM, which is great for me as my coach to Lake Tekapo was at 8am.
- Room comes with all necessities, plus a microwave, which was a huge bonus for me.
Cons:
- Booked a lake-view room, but the view was partially blocked by bushes/trees as the room was on Level 2.
Located next to a busy main road, and passerby visibility made it feel less private.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to family and friends for its convenience and comfort.
MMatthew LimSwiss Belsuites was our favourite accommodation across the 9 accommodations we stayed during our holiday in New Zealand! We absolutely love how spacious the place is. Huge cooking space with a comfortable living room with a large L-shaped sofa made for many nights in to cook our own dinner, which was made even easier with the provision of two dishwashing machines and almost every cooking equipment/cutleries you may need. It is also the only accommodation where we got to enjoy using a smart TV where we could easily use our own subscription accounts (via scanning QR codes) to stream videos during our dinners. The bedroom is also really comfortable and the toilet was very clean as well. We also had our washing machine and dryer, which was really useful as we were in New Zealand for two weeks. The best part of our stay was the view of Lake Wakitipu which we could enjoy from our living room. Was such a great stay that we were so sad to check out at the end. Highly recommended!!
GGuest UserWalked out onto the balcony and we were met with these stunning views.
The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent.
When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful.
We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation.
The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park.
The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust.
XXuannyBooked a last minute stay in Oakridge and was not disappointed! :) Studio was clean and incredibly functional (came with a washer + dryer and laundry detergent)! Finally had a good rest since arriving in New Zealand. Hot tubs by the pool were gr8 after a long hike! Would recommend!! :)
GGuest UserGoogle navigation is a bit inaccurate, this hotel is at the very edge. Parking is easy and free of charge. The front desk will give you a slip and put it on the front windshield.
The hotel is quite new, and the paintings inside are very artistic. The room is large overall, but the dining table and single-seat sofa are a bit small. The water pressure was great and the hot water came quickly, but unfortunately the towel rack was not heated.
The washing machine is in the kitchen. It’s a Samsung model. It can wash, dry and dry all at once, but it’s very time-consuming. A full kitchen, tableware and various tools are available. The bed was comfortable and big enough!
I will choose this place next time I come, it is better than Ramada.
AAnonymous UserIt is a lakefront hotel, making it easy to enjoy a walk around Queenstown. Although the accommodation is older, it’s kept clean and tidy. The reception was a bit hard to find, so you need to drive slowly to avoid missing it. We were lucky enough to stay on a lower level, which meant fewer stairs to access our room. The only downside was some noise from next door—guests seemed to enjoy karaoke until midnight, which was a bit bothersome. Nonetheless, it’s a nice hotel to stay at for a family of five.
AAilsabinbinIt can be said that this hotel is the most satisfying one in my entire trip to New Zealand.
The room is so big. You can see the lakeside as soon as you enter. There is a kitchen with utensils, a refrigerator, an oven, etc., suitable for making some simple meals by yourself.
The service is very good and you can park for free. We have an RV and they very considerately reserved the two most convenient parking spaces for us outside.
The location is the most convenient. It's right next to the steamboat dock. It's only a three-minute walk away. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and shopping is also very convenient.
GGuest UserThe facilities are not bad, the service is really not in line with the requirements. Complete self-service. It was cold and there was no air conditioning, the heating stove was broken and repaired, and the room was not changed. The squatting can use the electric oil they don't know from the cellar, and they barely resist freezing. Request star service bypass, the price is not high, not recommended
