Location near to Tambun Lost World water park. But I can’t find any convenient store nearby within walking distance. Safety is good since need access card to access to each floor of the premises. Overall is good if you plan to play at Tambun Lost World water park. It is advisable to rent a car if you not driving one, for easy to other locations.

The hotel location beside the river is good. The room have been updated but the 2 key things to further upgrade is the TV (too small) and the air conditioning efficieny as it takes so long to feel cold in the room. The breakfast is definitely the highlight of our stay as it brings back nostalgia and good authentic food with vast choices. The swimming pool is also good for the kids and for adults, we enjoyed the pool. The riverfront are with choices of simple cafe and restaurants that open in the evening.

Came upon this accommodation by chance. It is a private condominium, and a very good one interms of location. Located in the heart of Tambun, Ipoh, overlooking the majestic limestone caves/mountains, we got a 3 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen with microwave, dining table (for six) and a lounge sofa. Airconditioning was new - Panasonic Inverter and each room has a ceiling fan as well to increase cooling efficiency. Bedsheets were clean, pillows were a bit firm (which I like). Better bring your own luxury soap and shampoo - these things are personal. We got the 10th floor unit immediately on entering the Guard House Compound. I think occupancy would be 40% at max. There is no housekeeping. This is not a HOTEL. It is a private apartment/condomium. So, ample parking space, huge pool and gym with aerobic classes, and still can go to the nearby AEON Kinta Mall by Grab car or best to drive oneself.

The location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient. House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door. Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by. The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go. The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return).

A perfect getaway from my daily mundane life that feels like home. From check in to check out it is perfect. The place is clean, filled with everything. We can cook, wash our clothes and even play a console game using the provided joystick. Unlimited toilet tissue, detergent powder, a full-size shower and shampoo bottle, utensils and etc. Definitely will come back to this place again!!

This homestay offered a convenient location near shops and felt very secure. The studio apartment surprised us - it was quite cozy for a family of four, including two teenagers. There were amenities like WiFi, a fridge, laundry, TV, and even access to a swimming pool. Plus, the view of the Kampar hills was breathtaking! However, a few things took away from the experience. There was no reception staff to greet us upon arrival, and the key collection/return process was a bit unusual. Additionally, the room had a lingering cigarette smell that lingered despite multiple air fresheners. Despite these drawbacks, it was a decent stay overall. The location, security, and amenities made up for some of the inconveniences.
