Apartments in Sicily, Italy

They assigned us an apartment that was not the one booked (it was very uncomfortable and noisy) with the excuse of an upgrade that had not been requested or communicated at check in. They had given us a standard apartment instead of the deluxe, after my complaint was changed but after much insistence.

I think this is the most satisfying hotel I have ever booked! Most of the hotels in Taormina are old and small, but this one is very clean, comfortable and spacious! It is rare to provide good quality slippers and toiletries. The kitchen has a gas stove and a dishwasher. I cooked an unusually rich breakfast. I am really satisfied! When we took the bus to the bus station, we couldn't call the car because of the heavy rain. The hotel staff helped us a lot. We also printed the documents for us. In short, they were particularly warm and friendly and professional! They even prepared a WeChat signal for Chinese customers! Is a hotel that works very hard to provide good service

Excellent location: a few steps from the Massimo Bellini Opera House, 3-5 minutes to the main cathedral of the city (St. Agatha), University Square. There is an intercity bus stop 10 minutes away (Piazza Borsellino), leaving from there to Syracuse and Palermo (tickets can be bought at the ticket office on site). The area is quite clean, there are many restaurants and bars around. You can take breakfast for an additional fee (I didn’t take it). There is an electric kettle in the room. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Normal, fairly powerful hair dryer. Very clean. Nice friendly hostess. She gave me a couple of good recommendations for Syracuse. Among the features: take earplugs with you, the specifics of the building are such that you can hear everything and even more, especially at night (stone walls, high ceilings, strong acoustics). Apparently this is a specific feature of all such buildings (there are no others in the center). The B&B is located on the 3rd floor of the building (2nd Italian), accessible on foot along wide, comfortable steps.
