Overall a nice big hotel with excellent shared amenities.
The first room I was given didn't smell right but when I complained was promptly moved to a no carpet, low allergy room which was excellent. Decent breakfast and good bar but I cannot say the same about the restaurant which I felt was poorly manged. The waiters simply ignored you stood at the desk to get a seat - I have never had to wait for 15 whole minutes in full vicinity of seemingly busy waiters who had to literally look after 2 tables! When I finally did manage to get seated the service was acceptable and the food decent but I had never felt oh so guilty to leave a tip (I always err on the side of the poor waiters).
So - good hotel with some effort could be a great hotel. recommended with some caution.
Strategically located, only 5 min on foot from Copenhagen Central station. A lot of hotels in this area and I think Hotel Mayfair quite stood out with its bright signage and big building.
The room itself was clean and quite spacious, enough for 3 travellers. However, some things to note include - there's no fridge in the room so you will have to store your perishables in the staffs fridge in the luggage room, no kettle and also cups provided are too small for even coffee provided.
One letdown was the poor ventilation for bathroom. There was some kind of odd smell from the toilet every time we entered the room.
Staff were all attentive and helpful, they helped us with filling up hot water and storing our bags before checking in.
My recent stay at the Scandic Glostrup presented a bit of a trade-off. While the hotel offered good services and a nice breakfast, its location being far from the city center was a significant factor in my experience. The journey to the heart of Copenhagen took approximately half an hour, which required some planning and consideration for transportation. This distance might be a drawback for those primarily interested in easily accessing central attractions and nightlife. However, the hotel itself provided a comfortable and well-serviced environment. The staff were helpful, and the amenities were satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the nice breakfast, which offered a good variety and quality of food to start the day. In conclusion, Scandic Glostrup could be a suitable option for travelers who prioritize good service and a pleasant hotel experience and don't mind the commute to the city center. If being centrally located is a top priority, however, the half-hour travel time needs to be factored into the decision.
Less than 2 km from the downtown business district, about 1.5 km from the Kronborg Palace and the Maritime Museum, the beach is beautiful, the sea view is invincible, the room is small, the equipment is generally
Probably the best hotel you can ever get at this price in Denmark! The room is spacious, clean, the hallway and front is well-designed, everything spells top notch and comfortable! The customer service was helpful and friendly. We wish we could have stayed more nights here. It's 20mins to center via metro, one stop away from a rather big mall with a hypermarket (or 15mins walk). It's also near a nice eatery and a supermarket. The area is not that developed yet so it's not so crowded and noisy. Love this place.
Convenient location. 20 mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk away from the station and central train station. Though the pathway has cobbled stones so could be challenging dragging luggages across.
I booked a single room and upon getting to my first room, I realized I had to manoeuvre a flight of steps to get to the room, which I immediately u-turned back to the reception to ask for a room change. That's when I was told that all single room types are at the 'sub levels' that have stairs. I wished someone mentioned this in the reviews earlier. It was already a pain dragging a heavy luggage on carpet, this is made worse with the flight of steps in between.
The room is small but they have put in smart features to maximize space. I like the open wardrobe concept and how they've incorporated the luggage rack as a folding style from the mirror/wardrobe.
Shower area is a bit small, but water pressure of the rain-shower head is good. Bed and pillow are softer than I would prefer. The pillow is so soft it's almost as good as not having one.
Breakfast was excellent, a good spread of pastries, bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and sausages. I love it that the staff are very prompt in refilling whatever is running low and in clearing plates.

Very modern design with sustainability in mind. There’s a fee to store luggage at the basement within hotel parking area. Location is close to Tivoli Gardens but a bit of walk going to town centre.Staffs are very friendly. Had an amazing time at the spa area too.

Excellent Location, but Room for Improvement in Services
The hotel’s location is ideal, with direct access to the lake and a beautiful surrounding area. Regarding amenities, while there are several options (sauna, gym, steam bath), the overall experience does not match that of other Marriott hotels I have visited.
There were some shortcomings in the room that should not have been present. For instance, the shower gel dispenser was empty upon my arrival, and I had to notify the reception. Items such as toothbrushes, bathrobes, and slippers were not provided in the room but could be collected from the entrance. I would prefer these essentials to be available in the room initially.
The breakfast was satisfactory, though not as rich as in other Marriott locations. There was a delay in the process of entering the restaurant, with only one staff member handling guest seating. This occasionally led to wait times of up to 10 minutes during peak hours (notably on 4 out of the 8 days of my stay).
However, the staff was impeccable—extremely polite, professional, and always willing to assist. If some improvements are made in amenities and organization, the hotel could offer a more complete and enjoyable stay.

The hotel location is not far from train station, so it’s comfortable to reside at this hotel. But my experience is not so good. I had asked for many helps, but customer service had just told me to edit those problems and no one came to help me anymore. So it’s a bad experience I had found in trip.

TTobySiuThe apartment is alright. Services are pretty nice especially I had some requests to change rooms. However, in the end I choose a room near the parking lot/shopping mall and that could be a problem at night. Some cars are parked there playing music during weekends and it’s hard to sleep with the window open during hot days. Another thing is the shower that it becomes very moist due to the absence of ventilation fans. And also the shower sink is a bit stuck and the whole bathroom is drowned after a shower.
WWoody ReikoThis is a highly recommended place to stay in Copenhagen; the hotel is clean and fully furnished for both long and short stays; we had a fantastic and positive experience throughout our four-night stay; and the location is extremely convenient for getting about by metro. The entire surroundings is safe and peaceful, and the supermarket located immediately below the hotel makes it really convenient. Last but not least, the hotel staff are kind and helpful😀
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and tidy, the kitchen facilities are complete, equipped with washing machine and dryer, and the transportation is quite convenient. The hotel is more than 10 minutes' walk from the Little Mermaid. From the Little Mermaid, you can walk along the seaside to Arleneborg Palace and King's Square in Nyhavn (more than 30 minutes), and you can play while walking. It costs 368 Danish kroner to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It is recommended to take the train for economy if you have less luggage (smaller suitcases), but you need to transfer. The hotel's buffet breakfast is rich in European flavor and tastes good. There is a western restaurant opposite the hotel, and there is a supermarket on the corner. There are quite a lot of things in it. If you are diligent, you can buy steak and bread to go back to the room to process. The taxi meter in Copenhagen will make your heart beat faster. The starting price is 45 yuan, and you will lose more than ten yuan after waiting for the traffic light for more than ten seconds.
AAnonymous UserThe most incredible hotel!
Top end across: design, staff, breakfast, room size, showers, kitchen, location, WiFi and comfort. All just unbeatable and made my stay perfect.
In addition they have little treats for guests- daily free wine for an hour and a free night cap, making it feel like a home. The breakfast at the lovely restaurant is superb and with the loveliest staff. Loved it and will definitely go back
IImieGood place to stay.
Sites are walkable and even the shopping streets...it's at the end of shopping streets..so it's a good starting point for shoppers.
Room is clean and safe.
Bathroom can be improved. small shower booth despite having a huge bathroom.
WWINThe hotel adopts a fully self-service mode. Before check-in, you must go through the check-in procedure online (remember to pay attention to the email notification) in order to obtain the door password and room electronic key. It is not very friendly to guests who need manual service. But if you need anything, you can contact WhatsApp customer service at any time, and you will usually receive a reply soon. The hotel does not provide free cleaning services, but all consumables (such as towels, toilet paper, coffee tea bags, scouring pads, etc.) are fully provided and can be taken by yourself. Please pay attention! There is no air-conditioning in the room. We opened the windows for ventilation this time. Please evaluate your needs by yourself.
The hotel provides free laundry and drying services, which is great! At the same time, there are also small welcome gifts in the room, which is very heartwarming. The hotel is close to the subway station and there are two large chain supermarkets nearby. The location is very convenient.
GGuest UserThe apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the central train station. It has complete facilities and can accommodate 6 people including the sofa bed. It is cost-effective for more people. It may be an apartment, so there is no lobby. There is only contact information posted outside the door. You can contact yourself when you arrive and check in by yourself.
